weather and conditions up here are not always conducive to that style of play but ICT were playing that style earlier in the season b ut the finnishing wasn't there I'm afraid I like the idea though.

Tinted glasses !!!!!!.................. get lost! Time to take off the dark glasses more like! The potental in the squad of players we have is way beyond that of many other teams in the SPL. We ;have an excellent manager, not perfect but then who is? so why cant you see it ? are your glasses too dark ? or is it your head that is burried in the sand ? Stop slagging off and look a bit closer, there is a winning team there in all senses of the word.! Trouble is, some of you expect far too much and demand it immediately, have a bit more patience or go and join the opposition. ( maybe you already are the opposition??? )

DoofersDad, I fully agree with your sentiments on footballer's wages and lack of giving return to football. The time to cap football wages is long overdue, pay 'win' bonuses at reasonable levels to give incentives yes, or for bringing on new incentives for investments in the teams they play for, or in providing youth training and encouragement. Most get their money far too easily Time they gave their supporters something back!!!! A capping system would be of considerable help to all clubs and cut down the Prima Donna factor so many have.

To all the negativity, I would like to say something, actually I would like to say a lot. However I shall in this instance and in this moment of time refrain from doing so. But I think If some of you bought a goose then you would expect it to lay a golden egg and if it didn't, you would blame the goose!!!!!!!!!!

I am stunned, not so much by the loss!!! as by the depth and harshness of critcism given by many of the posters in this forum! All the hype and expectancy pre match must have gone to their heads or else the number of bevvies outnumbered the brain cells. ICT were up against a highly paid, highly skilled bunch of guys playing for their own futures, they showcased themselves at our expense, the initial shock of recent defeats and entering administration has sunk in and manifested itself in giving us a hiding. They soon 'sussed' out our weaknesses and made us pay, after that first goal the win resolve was there and they gave of their best. Aluko for example played better than he ever played before. unfortunately It needed more than heart (which we can normally muster against the O.F.) to beat that team today, it needed higher skilled players which we cannot afford. Have a rethink lads and lasses and get your support back behind the team and management.!!!!!!!!!!!

I am pretty certain most fans would enjoy a standing area but ! Why spend money now when there are still thoughts of a new stadium floating about, this thread should be raised again when the question of move or stay is decided. As for now let's be satisfied with what we have got.

If we are going to beat the pars, then I suggest ICT have a solid week of shooting practice. Opportunities today were there, but , where were the shots? Too many taking too long to line up, then the boot would come in and the chances gone. It was a much better performance though apart from that, even the Ref gave us a helping hand now and again i.e. 'till the Williams sending off which I agree was a Samarass induced trap. All in All there is still hope of the top six all we need is fire power!

May I put a combined reply to Scotty and Charles Bannerman. Thank you both for clearing up those points, No offence meant in any way. My aim was to start people thinking of ways and means of getting prices lowered for today's youth through cost cutting and through publicity. It is a far cry now from when as a boy I paid my sixpence every Saturday at Telford Street to hear the thrill of the then annoucer on the tannoy giving out 'today's Teams' :- Bruce, Mcgillvray, Galloway, Bolt, Mckinnon and Macintosh, long pause for the noise to lessen then Mc Beath, _ _ _ Galloway. then a roar that drowned out the names of the visitors !!!...............Perhaps on another thread someone would like to fill in the names of the other three forwards as I have once again deviated from this thread. it's an age thing!!!!!!!! ..................Do We still have the football times newspaper???? Mr Bannnerman, pardon my ignorance but it would be interesting to know just what percentage of the ICT income is paid out to Directors and shareholders? You appear to have a very ' capitlistic ' attitude towards the financing of the club so I just thought you might be aware of such matters and if so is this a line that could be looked into as regards making some savings that could be put towards reductions in entrance prices. There is no doubt in my mind that cost is the biggest obstacle to getting bums on seat in the stands, those fans who have been shouting this 'cause' should be listened to and all avenues of cost cutting reviewed. The more fans behind the club, through the turnstyles, the more support the team will have and better the effort the team wiil give. Scotty makes some interesting comments, amongst which, the idea of 'freebies' is one which is well worth a follow up especially as regards the youngsters. Get them in cheaply and give them something every now and then for going there and you are building up the next generation fan base, one which I sincerely hope will be alot less apathetic and more vociferous in there support than a large proportion of the present generation. Media and reporters too could do far more to take a lead in the promotion of the team. The joint teams of Inverness Thistle and Caledonian have come a long long way from the days of their Highland league rivalry. Do the Invernesians really know this, are they being told this? Remember the adage tell them what you are going to tell them, tell them, then tell them again. The message will get accross eventually and the enthusiasm of the old days will come back.

climate, It sounds as if a deep depression is affecting the ICT fans. Had we won on Saturday I dont think we wouldn't have been posting such gloom and doom related topics Forecast, possibility of things brightening up at the weekend, making it hot in Southern regions, fans could be usefull as temperatures may rise beyond the norm. Whilst a very pleasant atmosphere travels North in the evening bringing fresh air to the Highlands It may however leave dark clouds over Glasgow ! WARNING This could spark of storms in the South!!

My thoughts too Luke, As for Tuffey, He was brilliant last time out! Had he managed to get a touch on it , a very difficult fast swerving ball which he only just missed 'THEY' would all be hailing him as the greatest. Take another look at it, how many keepers would have saved it ? none in the SPL in MHO. Dont blame Tuffey for the loss, he deserves his place.

Penalty again for them ! Goalkeeper and defender playing tug of war with Tade's shirt in front of the goal yet neither the Ref. or his little helper , sorry Assistant, couldn't see it.
