For those who travel to Inverness for games

Share a room with IHE, http://www.myvoucher...MwNjUwMjE2NTMS1 40% off looks the best deal but needs to be booked by the 17th -
Sotonict - Just ask for me and I am sure I can arrange a space for you on the supporters bus - away fans together and all that. Terrific gesture thanks but i realise its going to be a late night for all travelling without having to divert or do a second stop anywhere, so i wont take you up on it. My auntie has said of worst comes to worst she'll pick me up cheers It does say in the away day travel that there would be a short toilet stop a broxden why dont you get auntie soton to pick u up there, as long as she doesnt get propositioned outside the toilets.

Following up on a fantastic 4-0 home win over Dundee United and a memorable victory in the Cold firm derby, I read that the club are now offering a 25% discount on Season Tickets. The fans made our first Friday night football a fabulous night, so I hope to see and hear them back on a more permanent basis. Before anyone moans about paying full price at the start of the season we have now played a quarter of our home games.

For those who travel to Inverness for games

Hospitality may have dipped through the regular businesses which attend as things are getting a bit tighter. So its pleasing to see new ideas emerging with regards to an overnight package. Its a time for fresh ideas and making new contacts with new businesses of Inverness. In these tighter times, any business seen to be supporting/promoting ICT can only be a good thing. -

Thats good news if you dont want to have a VIP day at the match, Besides, your room and breakfast for 2 ( scrambled egg, sausage and tea) comes in at £59 for the Hearts game, £52 for 2 main stand tickets, taxi to town £6, lunch for 2 with wine, budget lunch £25, taxi to stadium £5, programme £3, half time pies and coffee £8, bus back to to town for 2 £4, taxi back to fairways £8. Your budget day out comes in at £170. drinks extra Or, check in, in the centre of town, go for a wander about the town, any shopping just gets dropped off in the room. taxi to the stadium £5, VIP champagne reception, 4 course lunch with wine for 2, pay bar, team lines, programme, main stand seats, half time tea and pies in a warm room, after the match meet the players see the man of the match accept his bottle and get a free bus back to the social club, have a few extremely cheap drinks at the club, walk over the Greig st bridge to the hotel, get freshened up for a meal and a night in the town. If your too hot with a jacket or want to change ur clothes simply pop along to the hotel ,enjoy a night out and breakfast in the morning. They may even allow some of these Vips to sit in the North stand if they requested and instead of being escorted out of the ground, they can get escorted to their t and pies instead. VIP day £200 some drink free. taxi to stadium £5. What ever you want to do just enjoy your day out but for a VIP day out at the match plus hotel its a good deal. -
How the recruiting going.

Thats not bad at all. I will even go as far as saying thats pretty good for a hospitality treat. I was honeing in on the ones coming up the A9 but anyone coming to Inverness for the day can make a night of it from Oban to Orkney. Hotel, Breakfast and a VIP service for 2 at a football match with lunch, all the extras thrown in and you get to watch a quality team play football too. I wonder if you could upgrade to a double plus sofa bed, go to the game with your son or daughter and the wife goes shopping for the afternoon. -
I agree with Kingsmills

That must be the best Friday night Ive had in a long time. What a buzz about the place, even the band that played for me getting off the bus was good ( feel free to start playing Carnival de Paris during the match on a return visit) the bar was mobed and the fans were excellent. What a 1st class performance on the pitch, against another Highland team who can also play football. You didnt just win, you won with pride passion and belief well done.

Where are you getting the info And if thats the case, if you are a season ticket holder and cant make the match can you please inform the club and then they can sell resell your seat. A full house and not a single Glasgow club around. -
Im not driving either, theres a bus from the social club, Im Ive been told theres a bus at 7 from the station and Im hoping to catch it via Lauders, if not, along to the taxi rank and taxi to stadium. Can anyone quote a previous price for a taxi around £5 ew perhaps Or if you dont mind smelling of rotten turnips theres also a bus leaving from Millburn road

Please please please have 4 members of staff on. I have a very strong feeling theres going to be singing in the bar on Friday, at least help keep those throats lubricated.

I have watched our team play enough times this season to not be the least bit apprehensive about this match, Im just really looking forward to it, not just the match but the whole Friday night thing, its also on tv so anyone out in Inverness can get a free peek at their local team. I haven't really spent any time thinking about the result just the event itself but I have faith in our team, they have faith in themselves, so I think the big balls belief will stand them in good stead. Im just hoping for an enjoyable, loud evening,in a full stadium with a few drinks before and after. This game will mean so much to County, their only down side is that we all know what their players weaknesses are, their players know what their weaknesses are.So I hope they dont just sit back all night and bore their fans and us to tears. A note to the fans, its up to you to make as much noise as you can. we've got a job to do so lets do it.

Hope im down Galsgow way for this one,

If the social club was on my route to town I would probably pop in for 1 or 2, but there are some great pubs in Inverness and when Im out I enjoy drinking in them, it may cost more but the cracks good.

A couple of questions to ponder 1 Do you think Edinburgh would fully embrace a merged Hibs/Hearts side? 2 Do you think Dundee would fully embrace a merged Dundee/Utd side? I deliberately never included the old firm because that would be too ridiculous to even consider No matter where you go in the world the answer is the same The city of Inverness may well fully support ICT at some point in the future but it won't be in our generation sadly Dougal I had interpreted CDs comment as businesses and not the people of Inverness failing to support ICT Just thinking of ways to improve the problem, fingers crossed something positive will happen.

There is a county supporters club in Inverness and has been on the go for well over a decade, they leave from the tarry isle to travel to the county home games, so the tarry isle get some business off of the back of that. Good luck to the Cheiftan I hope they make a packet out of catering for football fans, its just a pity the Inverness Staggies arent having their end of season do there. ha ha, its at the Crown court hotel.

Presumably as an ICT fan, the OP would want his cash to help the football club as far as possible so this would seem to be the option which allows him to do that. Apart from profits going back to ICT, the prices at the Social Club at any rate are absolutely rock bottom - unless, for instance, there's anywhere else you can get a spirit and a dash for less than £1.60. The most expensive pint in there is, I believe, £3.00. I did hear it said in conversation last night that there would be a bus to the stadium leaving the Social Club at 7:15. I think they charge something like £2. EDIT - The Sponge posted above while I was composing mine and I see that the fare is £3. It may be as cheap as chips Charles but its not an independent pub which could easily say they support ICT. If I had a pub or hotel, I would want to get involved somehow, it pulls in new faces and people remember you for doing something for the fans. I would offer an early bird meal deal from a set menu 2 courses 5-6pm and transport to and from the match for £20, for transport you dont need to organize a bus, I would get a deal organized with a taxi firm, I would hope to sell drinks before and after the game, I dont need to have ESPN on tv to do that. Its that simple. I just need to let people know Im doing it.
