Any details regarding the social club. I was planning on visiting the stadium bar anyway and the service has vastly improved of late, instead of queuing for a drink in the busy bar for 10 mins you can get a drink in no time at all. I know the social club has its regular customers but was hoping some bars in the town would cater for the fans too.

Friday night football against our nearest rivals, on 5th October. I would like to have a few drinks be taken from the town to the stadium and back and have a few drinks more. Are there any pubs out there who would like to take this opportunity to nail their colours to the mast and pledge their allegiance to ICT and take advantage of this event to win over the people of Inverness, not just for this Friday night but to build bridges with potential new customers. I am willing to give you my cash as are plenty of others if they are willing to promote ICT and cater for their fans, so please dont let this opportunity pass by. If there are any pubs doing something can you please spread the word as it would be a pity if you missed out on probably Inverness' busiest Friday night of the year but its not just about one evening of drinking its about enticing long term future customers. I look forward to your reply and giving you my money.

What a beautiful blend of players to create a quality team. Excellent teamwork and a big well done. Only gripe is that the scoreline flattered United a bit and we should have scored more but well done all the same. Those 11 players have to start against County. Really looking forward to playing the Cheiftan select on Friday night

I have to say it though, well done to the Cheiftan for using this as an opportunity to pull in the punters, there are loads of people from Ross shire living in Inverness so they now have somewhere to go. I have yet to hear of any pub, club or Hotel promoting the derby game in the same way for ICT fans.

I think the cheiftan might need an extra bus Ive just reserved 78 seats

The ref was lousy that day and would try and balance out his errors by either ignoring fouls or giving fouls for next to nothing. I thought that the Western world believed in freedom of speech but apparently not when it comes to the football judge. You can be done for contempt of court during a trial, at a match the manager can be sent to the stand. After a trial you are perfectly free to criticize a judge for the sentence he dishes, yet a football match official and his gang of officials standing behind him can hand out punishments for speaking your mind. In a court of law you can apply for a retrial, in the football world if you are sent off you have to pay £1,000 for a retrial. In a court of law you only have to prove you are innocent to be acquitted, at a football tribunal its more about proving that the judge made a mistake as opposed to proving a players innocence. Take the ban, as for some strange reason sporting officials seem to have more clout than our legal system. Until that changes they cant be beaten.

Trip adviser can be so cruel but Im sure the County fans will enjoy the homely atmosphere. “BED BUG BITE FOR FREE” Reviewed 11 September 2012 2 people found this review helpful I have been making weekly visits here since May, When I first arrived the exterior of the Hotel was awful, but tried not to let me be put off, receptionist on duty was very pleasant, room very dated. The first few visits were great, getting to be on 1st name terms with staff, and been told they were new to the business and the hotel was been refurbished, I really started to enjoy my weekly visits. After a few weeks, started to notice a BIG CHANGE! There seemed to be a lot of new faces, and the staff that were left had no charisma about them. On my 3rd morning there I noticed I had some bites, I mentioned it later to the bar man, who said he would pass it on to the receptionist, when I returned from my meeting, I spoke with her, she knew nothing about what I mentioned, but assured me it would be passed on to Management and housekeeping. My last night I was in the same room but assured my room was deep cleaned, everything was still in the same place, the only thing that looked clean was the new bed sheets. Having started to meet a few of the guests who had been staying up there, they all noticed the change, the menu was changed, So was the chef, the food was just horrendous, I can truly say myself and another guest sat and watched the olympics, and of the very few that had meals in the hotel, most of them were sent back. I did not take breakfast as I left early but my pack lunch if been made, was awful 2 slices of bread, chocolate bar, ocassionally fruit was terrible, I was lucky compared to the horror stories I heard from the guests with regard to there breakfast. I started eating out, and going back to the hotel later, I would go into the bar for a drink depending who was in the bar, nothing worse than been on your own with the bar man, who quite frankly did not want to be there, and made sure you were out for 11. I had 2 weeks holiday, and to be truthful did not want to go back, but as it was August every where was booked, I had a double room that I had not stayed in before, looked clean, how mistaken, on 2 occassions I had to ask for clean towels, but my guests were back, yes the Bed Bugs, I told reception and the manager, they assured me it was not bed bugs, and they could not shift me, as the hotel was full, On the Thursday I had enough, cancelled business meetings, and returned home, I felt awful that night and on the friday I went to my local GP who assured me it was bed bugs, and they had got infected, I was given a course of amoxicillin. I phoned the hotel on the Monday as I still had my account to be settled, I told the manager of the situation, she said there was no bed bugs, no compalnts with regards to the food, I honestly could not believe what I was hearing, there were numerous complaints, her attitiude was awful, I ended the call without settiling my account. I am waiting for an Invoice to arrive, believe you me I shall not be paying this, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE! MAYBE A REFURB OF MANAGEMENT AND STAFF, BUT UNTIL THAT HAPPENS THIS PLACE WILL NOT WORK. Stayed August 2012, travelled on business

I had hoped to make the game but finished work too late and was staying too far away, so am looking forward to the next game and the players passed the big balls challenge in the shootout, so I hope they take the big balls belief into the next match in front of goal and Forans attempt was only 2" away from scoring. A wins a win so well done for getting through to the next round.

I wouldnt be surprised if SFL reps were there watching the match too and it would only have taken a couple of minutes for them to display all their balls to the cameras

Any updates on the North Kessock story? How are they getting on with the vandalized gardens? it said in the article that they were going to have a get together and put the gardens back to normal.

I like your clever use of words writing 'as a whole' a lot of people would have just written 'erse hole'

This game should be home from home for TB, I popped into the pub in Airth a few years ago to watch a match on Sky, got speaking to one of the locals who was a youth football coach and he told me he would frequently see Mr B out walking his dog as he used to live near by. Unfortunately he didnt work for JD Sports, so I will just have to assume he was telling the truth.
-
From what Ive read so far. JD have approached County and sell their stock. Have approached ICT and dont sell their stock. Have then re approached ICT to sell their stock,( to keep an equilibrium with regards to not favoring 1 team) for free providing that JD get advertising to the value of £15,000. ICT have decided that promoting their stock in a sports shop isnt worth 15k of advertising. I have also picked up that the JDs boss is now in the sh1te for making things up/ exaggerating or for confiding in the wrong person. the JD Sports brand has been tarnished and the manager will be pulled in for a wee chat by his boss. He probably didnt realize that what he calls chit chat with a friend, has lead to someone posting his comments on a forum involving the relevant club. It sounds to me like you have let a friend down by blabbing on this site. Or perhaps you have pulled a rabbit out of the hat where JD Sports sell our range, for the rest of the season for free to save any further embarrassment. Either way I wouldnt go back to the shop if I were you.
-
Thats great news, if that makes sense
-
I'll try and sort something out tomorrow. How many should I bring down do you think? Sale or return from the clubshop perhaps.
-
Has the investing in a block of ICT shares died a death. I'll rephrase that, could CJT please look at the options available regarding allowing fans to invest in ICT via Caley Jags Together with regards to buying a block of shares, can you notify users of progression, give a timescale of when this will come to fruition and submit details regarding the transaction. Thanks.

Any details about hospitality arrival time for the Friday night County game. I was doing some sums and its looking like a cheap/ messy, night out for business entertaining. £80 inc drinks+ vat or £65+vat for the t totalers and claim the tax back for entertaining. For a 5 course evening meal, free drinks and a main stand seat for the derby match, plus all the usual extras thrown in too.
