ICT v Kilmarnock
First 20 minutes was perfection, amazing penalty save, a bit of sloppyness did creep into the game but bags of potential for this new team in its early days. Major thumbs down for the fans who stayed away, you missed an entertaining match but I hope you turn up out of curiosity for the Celtic match.

ICTFC Launches Monthly Magazine
The Army have just moved in to RAF Kinloss and are really making an effort to integrate in to the local community - I hope they get some as well, especially the troops' kids. "We're also mindful that 39 Engineers is the new regiment which has moved in at Kinloss and we've extended an opportunity for many of them to watch the Killie game." Only 39 in the regiment, goodness me these army cut backs are getting worse.

Season's expectation
The new top 6 is really the old top 7, there were 4 places behind the old firm for the split, now there are 5. A top 6 would be good but what will be will be, for me this season is about enjoying the football.

Away Fans Supporters Club / Group
I think we could be missing a trick here, Could the supporters club contact the local bus company and see if the winter service could be altered slightly and change the bus route 10 from aberdeen / elgin to approach inverness from longman road instead of milburn rd and also the Balloch bus for 1 collection and drop off to tie in with a potential home game. The Eastern fans have an easy trip to the game and the bus co do their bit to help fans and customers can visit BnQ,bums on seats, the worst that can happer is they say no

Season tickets down 20%. Why?
I heard Roy McGregor telling Richard Gordon on the radio on Saturday that Ross County have sold 2800 STs. He also said that theyre hospitality is full for the season with 400 people and 80% of the hospitality and a lot of STs come from the Inverness area. Whats wrong with that, if I was born in Ross shire I wouldnt want to live their either, I would move to the city, get a job and mingle with normal people.

Season tickets down 20%. Why?
Nice idea but if 10 fans didnt renew then nominated each in turn we would have a £450 kitty from the club (not £500 as the 1st person cant be introduced). My idea produces a bit of spin, we probably have around 2000 st holders if we hope for 3,500 fans to turn up then only 1500 get the discount, equates to £9000 of a dip in income. figures over 3.500 is extra revenue from people being coaxed in from the cheaper price, including Killy fans making the trip. Giving fans their money back for buying a season ticket is more spin, as its just the same as selling at the early bird prices and the club has already come up with the voucher for the club shop idea. If the club cut the prices for the first game, in an attempt to fill the stadium, the team gets to show the fans that they are far better than last season, let the team be the best incentive to buy season tickets, £-9000, + £ from extra fans,+£ from progs, food etc, + £ for extra season tickets = +£? probably 4,500 fans would compensate for the minus figure,+ extra revenue from bar, progs etc, the team gets to show the stay aways what they are missing, and a promotion for giving fans their cash back, just 3 adults bring in over a grand buying season tickets, if they dont buy a st then the team have reminded them why they should come back again in the future. ' Would you like cashback sir/madam or would you like it to be discounted from the cost of your season ticket' ?

Season tickets down 20%. Why?
To improve sales run a promotion, people have been disappointed with the quality of football last season and have lost interest. Things have greatly improved so the club can throw down the gauntlet. Reduce the cost for the first home game of the season by £6 to encourage a larger crowd, creating the following costs Main stand North Family Adult £20 £15 £10 Concession £15 £10 £8 Junior £15 £10 £1 If the punters like what they see, they get a full refund for their match tickets if they buy a season ticket before the Celtic match and I would throw in a £5 voucher for the club shop too. Lastly I would produce fliers advertising the above and have our youth players handing them out smartly dressed in ICT clothing at supermarkets on Fri evening 5 till 7 and 10 till 12 Saturday morning at supermarkets, retail parks and the Eastgate centre.

Billy Dodds
Could be Killy if cash is a problem. As for Dodds he probably feels that a team somewhere up in the Highlands shouldnt be playing top flight football, he gets sacked from a club with a bigger fan base, a longer history and a far higher budget to spend on players than Inverness and ICT still finish higher up the table. Chisholm gets sacked and assistant manager Dodds takes the reigns for only 1 match before being replaced by ICTs Brewster, Is he bitter?

Olympic Football Farce
Not long to go before before the SPL starts, at least we have had the euros, tennis, and now the Olympics to pass the time. We all have different views on lots of different things but its only a week now till we all get pulled back together to support Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Away Fans Supporters Club / Group
So it looks like we have the north and south covered any takers for east and west

Ideas to market I.C.T
All together now http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/All-Together-Now-for-ICT.htm You can enter the competition by purchasing the Inverness Courier. Perhaps the club shop could run a comp, from August through till December. When you spend over £20 in the club shop on merchandise you enter into a monthly draw.

Anybody else think.......
Im not getting carried away and want to spend the season enjoying ICT football with no pressures and no demands, just enjoy the days football and the table will sort itself out.

COVENTRY GAME
From a club who normally cant string 4 passes together unless its across the back four, to passing around the box with ease as if its a kick about, inteligent play which has also been lacking and we now have a feeling of togetherness and self belief amongst the team. Good players were subed yesterday, the team didnt fall apart it just changed its style of play and produced more quality football
-
Season Tickets
Plenty of positive comments on the Coventry post.

Sell out Saturday
Anyone fancy a bit of a competition amongst fans, If you can coax people along to the match who wouldnt normally have turned up make a note here, a degree of honesty is required though, the winner will receive a pie in the post.
-
Season Tickets
Thank goodness for that. Ive just watched the Coventry match and now I dont need to harp on about buying a season ticket out of loyalty to the club, you can now buy one because you can enjoy watching a good team play football. What a difference to last season.

We are all going to the Global Energy Stadium
I will only call it the global energy stadium when they manage to harness the gasses omitting from all the rotten vegetation in Rosshire and convert it into power
