  1. We may have a say in relegating either team depending on what happens on Tuesday but there shouldnt really be any conspiracy theory's. If Hamilton take anything from us on the last day of the season the its St Mirren who relegated themselves because they had enough of a lead and have thrown it away.
  2. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/13323860.stm Will be interesting so see the highlights tomorrow
  3. Bit of a bizarre game really, going from team perfection against Cellic during the week to what was more like a friendly match where we gave the ball away too cheaply and the attacking force reminded me of Craig Leveins inept 4-6-0 formation. we just didnt have any bite up front, fortunately Midden didnt show much threat, enter Rooney and all of a sudden the team has direction. If the ref was better Duncan should have won a penalty before anything happened,I didnt see what happened as my eyes were following the ball but I'm surprised the linesman picked it up seeing as he kept waiting to see who the ref would award the throw in to before waving his flag during the game. After a few substitutions even with 10 men, we were by far the better team with a 4-4-1 formation, the win was deserved and I'm glad we did it for Duncan.
  4. So unfair if this is Duncan's last game, what can be done, how much will an appeal cost and will we have to wait for tv highlights to see if an appeal is warranted, no point if fighting a lost cause, or appeal regardless to delay the decision till after the league finishes?
  5. Just a wee reminder to bring someone along to the game.
  6. Followers of Lennon are hoping for revenge attacks against Kilmarnock,Hearts and Motherwell but after locating Cellic with the aid of satellite technology at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium a crack team took them out during an assault which lasted 90 minutes, reprisals now seem doubtful. The assault, also viewed in the Whitehouse by Obama and his aides felt that justice had been done, one aide commented "The face, that horrible face, the close up shot of Lennon was too much I had to cover my face"
  7. Inverness travel tours have a great offer of a day trip for ICT fans for a very special price. The bus will leave Inverness in the morning on the 14th May. With Mountains, pine forests, rivers and lochs in abundance as the bus meanders down the A9. The tour bus will have a short stop at a quaint little village and will follow on to the new M80 (under construction)where the 'Bird by the road' can be viewed, soon to be as famous as 'The tart in the cart' and 'the fluzzy in the Jacuzzi' which you would find in Dublin. The tour bus will then travel on to the highlight of the tour when it comes to rest in the quaint little town called Hamilton, for a light lunch and drinks, then on to view a SPL football match on the final day of the season and to welcome the Highland marchers. The tour bus will then return to Inverness by the same route with plenty of time to watch the sun setting over the mountains. Please contact the tour guide Lizzie to book a seat 0751 976 3507. T&Cs 1,Lunch,drinks and entry into the match are not included in the price 2,From time to time you may have to sing some songs possibly with reference to Dougie Imrie playing 1st div football next season. 3,Regarding the stop in Hamilton, look after you valuables at all times and dont feed the local monkeys as they can become aggressive if offered healthy food.
  8. Rangers fans are chuffed that its back in their own hands again, just like Celtic fans were ready for a party with the arrogant expectation of going top tonight.Where as a neutral would have preferred a draw as it would be down to most goals scored to see who wins the league. Enjoy your night Rangers fan as the tables have turned but be wary of us next season as we could ruin your year of football in exactly the same way.
  9. Was miffed with a 6 O'clock kick off, miffed with rushing to get back to Inverness, had a quick bite to eat and miffed with getting bogged down in the traffic, with thoughts of a demoralized ICT side as players are leaving. Once in a life time was being played on the tannoy on arrival, I got a wee shiver and had a feeling that something special may happen tonight. That for me was my most enjoyable game of the season, we really whipped their asses not just slightly but well and truly, Shane made the player of the year look like a ball boy!!!! Stand up and take note Levein, I saw many players worthy of a call up tonight and if you need any more guidance they were all wearing Red and Blue, what a perfect team performance, the only thing that was missing were more goals as we deserved to bag a few more. You have all done yourselves, your team, your manager, your club, your fans, your city and the Highlands proud, very proud, well done.
  10. Whye did ah come all the wae up here by the way but?
  11. I must be a girlie too then. A sad sad day hearing that two of our respected veterans are leaving,I have a lot of good memories involving these players over the years, sadly there will be more to follow.

  13. It must fairly knock your confidence not having a contract renewed but life goes on and I dont think that there will be any shortage of offers coming in for Russell and who knows it may even be for a better wage.
  14. I will miss Russelldhinio, the General who commends the midfield, not my words TBs. I genuinely wish the man well and I will always have an interest to see how Russelldhinio is getting on at his future clubs. If Russell is selected then I hope he leaves with all guns blazing on the pitch and shows TB what a huge error hes made. Whos gonna be the first to start the 'stand up for Russell Duncan' chant at ICT? I'm well up for that. There is always going to be some conflict between keeping the veteran players that we have come to love, respect, admire and the manager wishing to get in what he believes to be the best players that can bring the greatest success to the club, if Russell was a few years younger then he definitely would be kept, good luck Russell, you haven't left yet so looking forward to seeing you at the next ICT home game. ps chin up Mr D.
  15. Lets have an under 15 European tournament at ICT this summer and let the Europeans come to us.
  16. When does Hamilton lose voting rights? last day of the season? Pars and Raith are against it too, so the winner should be included in the voting.
  17. Well done under 15s, keep pushing on, Dont lose faith in your coaches as they have helped develop your skills on the pitch and have got you to the level you are at now, sadly though their experience and expertise seem to falter off the pitch. My advice would be to listen and learn as much as you can from the coaches and dont lose faith in what they can teach you. Just dont ask any of them to book your holiday.
  18. ?50,000 for Dougie Imrie ??? do you think he has a sell on value, he might be worth some money in the cage fighting circuit.
  19. Just make a few enquiries its on ESPN the only other game on tv at that time is Blackburn v Man City on Sky sports 1 if its on in a pub its going to be one or the other.
  20. Great turnout but it really is a case of winner takes all match so you would expect a good turnout. The Old firm make a colossal amount of money from Home games, merchandise, hospitality,TV and will still make more money through progression in Europe. Without the OF I could see SPL clubs having severe financial difficulties within 3 years with the belief that the extra investment in players will win/buy them the cup, exactly the same will happen in the 1st Div if 3 SPL teams join them as proposed. Without the OF the TV money will be a paltry sum and the gate wont be as large, The top two clubs can budget for European games knowing that they will have another crack next season, our clubs would be knocked out of European cups sooner, the coefficient would change meaning only 2 clubs in Europe 1st place and the cup winner. So without the OF Positives A far better chance of winning a cup and the hibernating fans turning up when things are going well so more cash at the gate. Negatives. The obvious first, losing out on larger gates and premium hospitality from the OF The TV money will become a paltry sum. Less government funding for the SFA. Less commercial funding for our sport. Less money available for final league placements. Less money for winning a cup. The European coefficient will drop to leave only 2 places. Clubs will overspend to try and win the league. Less media interest in Scottish football. I hate to say it but we need the OLD FIRM As for the Rangers fans and Celtic fans who spend their lives despising each other, without their opposition that they hate with a passion their own club would be thrown into turmoil.
  21. Is anyone planning on doing their bit and encouraging new fans to come and see what ICT is all about, a friend for a fiver and kids go free seems like a good deal. You could of course cheat the system and get some regulars in on the cheap but that would be cheating ICT and making a mockery of the long term aims of the club. http://www.ictfc.co.uk/articles/20110418/bring-a-friend-kids-go-free_2208825_2341133
  22. Secret talks in stadium sale. Is it just me but the the heading isnt much of a secret.
  23. Whats going wrong these days, there are some really twisted people out there, bullets? bombs? if this is supposed to be a joke then its not a very good one. I hope that if anyone has any info they do the right thing and remove the people involved from society by contacting the police. What should the punishment be for the teenage footballers who posted that they wished Lennon had been blown up on twitter, a caution? fine? dismissal? prison? If the players involved have an unhealthy hatred for Neil Lennon then some form of punishment is required and the clubs involved would do well to get rid of them but if it was just an off the cuff comment would a caution have been suffice and advice given about using a bit more brain cells when posting on twitter/facebook. I'm not saying its acceptable behavior but I would prefer if more resources could be used to catch and jail the idiots involved than spend time dealing with people who posted a stupid comment on the issue.
  24. Think ill watch this one in the pub, although a 6pm kick off seems a ridiculous time it doesn't seem too bad considering theres a 2 hour drive north afterwards whereas a 7.45 ko = home for midnight and is starting to get too late.
  25. It took 10 years from Highland league to SPL. Looking back over the last 10 years. We have spent the majority of it in the SPL, we have a professional youth set up with home grown talent emerging. The stadium now has its own bar, a competent and well respected manager and a great squad of players. 10 years ago I would have classed many 1st division clubs as big clubs but as ICT have grown in size and stature that is no longer the case. Looking ahead what can you see instore for the next 10 years. I think we will definitely be in the top six, if the split remains over the next decade. More visits to Hampden. (a top 8 league finish means we dont get drawn to play a team above us till the QF in the Crime cup) A fan base between the size of Kilmarnock and United. Additional seating And continuous local quality emerging from the youth set up. Building on what ICT have achieved so far I think the future is looking good for our club.
