  1. They were going to try and charge me that as well until they realised I had been a customer for over 3 years so I got it for ?40, I couldn't be bothered arguing with them I just wanted it fixed. Has the engineer not phoned you yet, usually they do. If not I'd be on the phone I am getting it fixed for free as I told them to stick their dish somewhere. Put through to cancellation dept and they said no charge They won't talk to me as the account is in wife's name. Tried calling but they will only talk to me if she calls them first :annoyed: Why dont you put on a girly voice and phone again. Im having the same problems getting a sat dish installed at Cambuslang premier inn, apparently.

Not so sure about being exceptionally high, 2/4/11 4.3m. I would say the high tide was high but not exceptionally high. But in fairness to the average Joe Blogs looking at the sea they may think that it was very high and unless they go out and measure it every 12 hours or look at admiralty tide tables how would they know any better. 20/3/11 5.3m, now I would call that exceptionally high. Not that I want to start splitting hairs was just surprised it was mentioned at the time, the torrential rain through the night was a good enough reason on its own. It was just bad luck that the heavy downpour postponed the game, just the same as it mucked up the Scottish Open.

Shh dont mention the tides was a bit of a red herring or it would have been an ongoing problem for years. High tide was not exceptionally high when our last game was postponed and didnt coincide with the pitch inspection either. Good to hear from you again Dougal after your absence, keep taking the tablets or we may lose you again for a while. Fancy sponsoring our players for £10, or are you keeping the cash to spend on dog grooming products.
  4. Wise words, I like many others on here dont have any idea whatsoever what the story was about. I feel like being sucked in to giving an opinion but think I'll sit on the fence. Any other potentials coming in soon.

With the recent downpour, I was just wondering how the improved drainage system was coping.
  6. Undefeated in the league since 4/5/11 and supported by the greatest fans. (Who would want to play for Aberdeen http://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/Article.aspx/2344751 )
  7. Dont take it to heart Mahonio, was looking at an IHE anagram on another post which got me thinking and by the way, Mahonio = Oh I moan.
  8. A lot of people go on about that game but people seem to forget that Rangers and Celtic only beat us twice in the league in six attempts last season. Only 2 weeks away now.
  9. Phone the citizens advice, they will give you up to the minute info. The same situation happened to me once but every case is different, so I cant really guide you on what to do but if you arrange to see an adviser they may lead you in the right direction. Good luck.
  10. I have the same conversations with the staff at a premier inn at the end of London road (Glasgow Cambuslang) They all seem to be of a Celtic persuasion down there.

  14. I like this idea. Doran, Foran, Shinnie, Shinnie, Tade, Nade and Cox: the ICT equivalent of the firemen from Trumpton*. *Those under about 35 will probably have to look this up, depressingly enough. Who takes on the role of windy miller

I would say yes to both. I wonder if the trend continues and Watford get relegated once Cowie moves on.
