  1. Pity you cant make it, if your that unlucky I was going to suggest you could sit in the Celtic end.
  2. I'll be wearing my 2010 away top, a scarf from our last cup win over them and I'll bring a colouring book for Lennon (but no crayons) may keep him quiet for a while in the stand.

I remember Barnes babbling on about something,Martin O Neil saying something like, the game could have gone on all night and his players still wouldnt of scored, Strachan moaning about being beaten in the league but no I dont remember being beaten 1-2 in the dieing minutes.
  4. Aw go on then Im going too.
  5. The united gaffer has stated that getting to the Semi final is far more important, so not sure what the team selection will be on Thursday. think Dougie Imrie will be suspended for it too.
  6. Would prefer it if Aberdeen didnt win and maintain a gap between top 7 and the rest and then push Motherwell out of the top 6 later on.

I'm not that bothered how we have done in the past, its what happens on Sunday that counts and Celtic will have a niggling phobia in the back of their minds that they cant break Caley Thistle down and how are they going to cope with the disappointment of losing to a Highland team again. I believe our team will enjoy the run up to this game far more than Celtic.
  8. Forgot to mention. Well done to those noisy Duncan Forbes pupils, hope you can all make it back soon.

    Barrowman holding a turnip
  10. Updated pending approval from IHE. Good luck to ICT !
  11. I was pleased with the formation when you have such good defenders and such a solid midfield it was always going to be hard for them to break us down. With Ross and Rooney up front to knock them in. We held our formation well, controlled the game and closed them down when required,it wasnt a racing up and down the park all day, leaving large areas exposed when we lost the ball, we seemed to let the ball do most of the work with plenty of passing which was good to see. Well done to the scorers but it was a great team effort that won the day. I would be happy if that team was picked for Celtic with MacDonald and Hayes if available coming on as a super subs when Celtics legs tire.

Everexpectationitus go and have a lie down.
  13. I thought the officials had a good game yesterday too but in all fairness their job was made easier by the players on both sides with no simulation involved, a foul was a foul and an offside was an offside. bar one maybe two freekicks in the whole 90 mins which is pretty good going. What were the names of the officials they did well.

I think we usually play exceptionally well in front of the camera but cant comment on stats.

I read that his back in training and a couple of weeks away from a comeback.
  16. Unfortunately they would only sneak in to the home end, besides the smaller clubs need the cash that they bring
  17. Glad to hear you got that off your chest, when I suggested that you talk to someone about the inverted pen1s problem, I actually meant a doctor.
  18. Its now likely his ban is extended to 8, 4 +2 for the bust up and 2 for reoffending, I wonder how much extra money each club brought in? seeing as it was a rematch.
  19. I posted this on the United post maybe it should be here http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/fullstory.php/aid/14515/What_s_gone_wrong_with_Caley_Thistle_.html Back to being underdogs again we usually seem to do well with that mentality. Come on the Caley.
  20. Wont really matter because hes very likely to have more bans on the way, he will be in the stand for the CIS cup final will probably miss the next old firm clash from a new ban due to his loutish behavior. The worst thing he has to endure of all though is being pelted with Werther's Original sweetie wrappers at our match. Didn't he get some bullets sent in the mail? Does he deserve that? Your going to have to help me out on this one a wee bit, Ive read the above a few times and cant really see the link between commenting on a touchline ban handed out to a manager for loutish behavior and trying to justify someone sending Lennon a bullet. It's not that difficult. Your comment that the worst he had to endure was having a sweetie thrown at him. I was just wondering if having bullets sent to you through the post would be considered worse than that. A touch of sarcasm was the intention, as the worst of all of the touch line bans will be at TCS as he will have to sit close to a bunch of sweetie rustlers and may have some werthers originals sweetie wrappers thrown at him, not sweeties hope that has made things clearer. Hope you enjoy the game whichever end you sit in.

  23. Lennon will be in the stand for the game, the 6 game ban was reduced to 4 after an appeal and includes our match, he will probably get more bans for the midweek tantrum too
  24. So how many are going legless
  25. I would say that overexpectationitus epidemic has hit the highlands. It first appeared in Dingwall with County reaching the cup final and the overexpectationitus started to spread with the belief they would win the league the following year. Derek Adams became infected and moved on as his team weren't going to win every game, the fans caught the overexpectationitus believing that their team would do no wrong, the team caught overexpectationitus believing that they were so good they didnt have to try as hard (also known as Barrowman syndrome). The epidemic has now spread to Invernessshire with overexpectationitus affecting large proportions of the ICT fan base with ICT slowly climbing the league, getting closer to 4th place and thoughts of a place in Europe next season. I caught overexpectationitus but I'm on the mend now so will be glad to get back to normal and cheer on ICT against Motherwell. Hopefully the Barrowman syndrome isn't affecting the players too much, maybe a bit more is required that just clearing the zone and booting it up the park, maybe your team mate needs a bit more help, maybe you have to be a wee bit closer for a more accurate pass, maybe you have to think more of whats going on in the game and not the league table. Well I'm almost over it.
