I heard that there will now be singing/shouting auditions to get in to section E. To get the section loaded, primed and cocked for the new season. Any idea when the auditions are taking place?
-
After looking on the highland march website I think I passed you lot in training north of Spean bridge about a month ago, that was some pace you were setting for yourself, were you just popping down to Fort William to buy some messages.

He certainly has found a club with a style of play that compliments his technical ability, I can also see an even better service of ball coming from our players next season with plenty of goals coming from all over the park so no pressure on him to win games.I think he would have another happy season with us and the way he is playing, I can predict us Caley fans supporting an extra country for Euro 2012 as Rooney bangs them in. I cant see that happening if hes sitting on a bench or is lured to an underperforming club with the hope that he can win games on his own. I think 1 more season for us will do his confidence and self belief the world of good and make him a stronger and better player when he moves on to a higher level, where the competition for excellence is a lot more fierce Out of all of our players who have left for bigger clubs (excluding Marius as he was a high earner already) only Don Cowie and Barry Robson have maintained their level, If Adam moves on then I wish him all the best, none of us know what the future will bring so I hope he makes the wisest choices that will bring him the most success over his whole career and not just one season.

I would like one of the home grown youngsters supported too but do we have first pick as they may have been sponsored by a company on an annual basis already.
-
What chants did you enjoy the most. I enjoyed the, Your not famous anymore directed at Aberdeen, whilst beating them. Any new ones emerging for the new singing section.
-
On recent form we are also 3 points behind leaders Rangers and have as many points as Celtic.

Good move, the club appear to be hitting the ground running this season regarding friendlies, season tickets, the x factor trialists and now this. Better accoustics and also gives the club the option of extending the family section if required. http://www.ictfc.co.uk/articles/20110513/the-singing-section-is-moving_2208825_2359255

I thought it may be a bridge too far but didnt want to appear to be negative. No shame in keeping it to a 7 day thing next season and enjoying it. It was the fixtures list that failed and not our Olympians.

I think we have been fortunate and spoilt for a long, long time, fans at a lot of other clubs keep having huge clear outs and all their players are just new faces, where as we have allowed a special bond to flourish between ourselves and the players over the years,we have enjoyed the progression through the leagues, the giant killing cup games, felt the pain of relegation and are currently making the SPL our home. All of which has been a first for the fans. So I would like to say a big thank you to Russell and Grant and also to all the long serving players past and present, that have given us fans such special memories to cherish. (goes away to get a glass of Dalmore 12 yr old) I look forward to you returning to play for an ICT Legends team one day. I wish you both well and hope you settle down soon at your future clubs and good luck.

Who will CTO sponsor and who is likely to be available

Well Ive bought mine. I know some dates and times are a pain but by paying up I wont have to dip my hand in my pocket to for the whole season to buy a match ticket for the league.

I hope Mair gets his shopping delivered by Tescos, it must be pretty embarrassing for him otherwise, if an old lady bumped into his trolley he would be rolling and writhing about in one of the aisles, far safe to get it delivered. I would say Duncan was brought down in the box attempting to go for the ball by Mair, Duncan was frustrated that he didnt get a penalty.Words may have been exchanged, Mair grabs Duncan by the throat,Duncan pulls Mairs shirt and gets pushed by Duncan's chest, Mair becomes terminally ill for 30 seconds, collapses and Duncan gets sent off. It should have been Mair sent off for violent conduct and fouling inside the box (preventing Duncan from reaching the ball by trapping his legs)and penalty to ICT, Duncan didnt do enough to warrant a red. Appeal, appeal, appeal Mair you are an embarrassment you sacrificed you Honor and dignity to get a player sent off to give ST Mirren the upper hand, it back fired as you still lost, not only did you lose, you lost your respect from fellow professional footballers, spectators of the match and anyone who watched the highlights. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/13329040.stm

I think it would be only fair to ask for professional advice to see if it could be rescinded and go ahead with an appeal. Why bother when the player is on the way out the door? because he has given 10 years of his playing career to ICT thats why. I am assuming that if the appeal is won then there is no fee anyway. I have seen players only getting a talking to from the ref for far worse than that, after seeing the highlights in my opinion an appeal would be warranted.
-
If Mair had Duncan by the throat then no wonder he fell to the ground with the realization that he was going to be sent off and it was in the box too. Its a pitty that technically you have to allow yourself to be strangled until the ref blows the whistle and cannot defend yourself from assult. Our players reactions' to it all just about sums up what really happened. If Duncan was the guilty party our players would have just got on with it and there wouldnt have been such strong reactions from our Captain or Esson from behind the goals.

In case you hadn't sussed, I'm just trying to promote the supporters bus from a different angle for the last game of the season.
-
We may have a say in relegating either team depending on what happens on Tuesday but there shouldnt really be any conspiracy theory's. If Hamilton take anything from us on the last day of the season the its St Mirren who relegated themselves because they had enough of a lead and have thrown it away.

Bit of a bizarre game really, going from team perfection against Cellic during the week to what was more like a friendly match where we gave the ball away too cheaply and the attacking force reminded me of Craig Leveins inept 4-6-0 formation. we just didnt have any bite up front, fortunately Midden didnt show much threat, enter Rooney and all of a sudden the team has direction. If the ref was better Duncan should have won a penalty before anything happened,I didnt see what happened as my eyes were following the ball but I'm surprised the linesman picked it up seeing as he kept waiting to see who the ref would award the throw in to before waving his flag during the game. After a few substitutions even with 10 men, we were by far the better team with a 4-4-1 formation, the win was deserved and I'm glad we did it for Duncan.
-
So unfair if this is Duncan's last game, what can be done, how much will an appeal cost and will we have to wait for tv highlights to see if an appeal is warranted, no point if fighting a lost cause, or appeal regardless to delay the decision till after the league finishes?
-
Just a wee reminder to bring someone along to the game.

Followers of Lennon are hoping for revenge attacks against Kilmarnock,Hearts and Motherwell but after locating Cellic with the aid of satellite technology at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium a crack team took them out during an assault which lasted 90 minutes, reprisals now seem doubtful. The assault, also viewed in the Whitehouse by Obama and his aides felt that justice had been done, one aide commented "The face, that horrible face, the close up shot of Lennon was too much I had to cover my face"

Inverness travel tours have a great offer of a day trip for ICT fans for a very special price. The bus will leave Inverness in the morning on the 14th May. With Mountains, pine forests, rivers and lochs in abundance as the bus meanders down the A9. The tour bus will have a short stop at a quaint little village and will follow on to the new M80 (under construction)where the 'Bird by the road' can be viewed, soon to be as famous as 'The tart in the cart' and 'the fluzzy in the Jacuzzi' which you would find in Dublin. The tour bus will then travel on to the highlight of the tour when it comes to rest in the quaint little town called Hamilton, for a light lunch and drinks, then on to view a SPL football match on the final day of the season and to welcome the Highland marchers. The tour bus will then return to Inverness by the same route with plenty of time to watch the sun setting over the mountains. Please contact the tour guide Lizzie to book a seat 0751 976 3507. Rangers fans are chuffed that its back in their own hands again, just like Celtic fans were ready for a party with the arrogant expectation of going top tonight.Where as a neutral would have preferred a draw as it would be down to most goals scored to see who wins the league. Enjoy your night Rangers fan as the tables have turned but be wary of us next season as we could ruin your year of football in exactly the same way.

Was miffed with a 6 O'clock kick off, miffed with rushing to get back to Inverness, had a quick bite to eat and miffed with getting bogged down in the traffic, with thoughts of a demoralized ICT side as players are leaving. Once in a life time was being played on the tannoy on arrival, I got a wee shiver and had a feeling that something special may happen tonight. That for me was my most enjoyable game of the season, we really whipped their asses not just slightly but well and truly, Shane made the player of the year look like a ball boy!!!! Stand up and take note Levein, I saw many players worthy of a call up tonight and if you need any more guidance they were all wearing Red and Blue, what a perfect team performance, the only thing that was missing were more goals as we deserved to bag a few more. You have all done yourselves, your team, your manager, your club, your fans, your city and the Highlands proud, very proud, well done.
