  1. No, I think they will beat Hibs 2-1. I don't think that the dishonest ones will get through to play Celtic. After being in contact with RC fc, I have good grounds to call them dishonest.
  2. Sorry, but I'm with the official RCFC line on this. I wouldn't want to be giving away free tickets to away fans for ICT games. There's probably a legal argument in there too about supplying tickets to the away end and the visiting team having responsibility for their fans behaviour. I'm glad that ICT fc's opinion differs from yours, they do not see the harm in letting the winner of a competition etc, sitting in the away end if they choose to do so. As for trading standards (subject to availability) told on both occasions that seats were not available for the away support.
  3. Feck the gyppos hope they get gubbed I can see some points of view about supporting a highland team. BUT My niece won 2 Ross County tickets in a raffle at an INVERNESS school gala, being an ICT fan she thought she thought it would be handy for the derby game but she has been fobbed off twice now as they dont want to give free seating to away fans. why offer them to a school in Inverness ? I feel reluctant to give County my money to see the game on Saturday now. Hope the lose.
  4. We were up against a side that sat back a lot and reminded me of Clyde when we last played them in the first division many years ago they were big strong blokes. As for the wingers they both prefer to play on the right, so someone was going to play on their weaker side, at least we still got the 3 points, which is more important than losing with flair.
  5. Am I correct in saying that starting with our game against them on Saturday they are playing 2 games a week till the end of the season. Thats 13 games in 6 weeks and even more if they somehow manage to beat Hibs.
  6. I'm glad you pointed out you were getting served opposite the main stand. I go to the one to the north side of the main stand, this attracts people from the main stand and north stand for the pies, chip van and toilets. CDs idea of guidance signs would be good to get a better ballance of fans to each kiosk for maximum return and reduce congestion.
  7. Your stats are on an average of the last 25 games, on their best run over 9 games they achieved 23 points out of a possible 27 (we were 15 points behind at this stage) but more recently over 7 games, 9 points from 21 I dont think we should be looking at stats too much and just keep trying to get the 3 points each game, even if we overtake Dundee, still keep pushing for the 3 points till the end of the season. I will agree with you on having a real chance,
  8. I'll give you an answer in 2 months
  9. He was briefly in the que last night but I would say that it was far less congested than a normal saturday game.
  10. If all goes well it will go from Jitters to Skitters by mid April. If thats the case, on the last game of the season, Ill be singing '15 points and you threw it away' As for the cash, Dee were the only team in Scottish football out with the OF to buy any players at the start of the season.
  11. If you believe that every game is a must win, then every game is a must support.
  12. Mistakes can be made so its better to talk to the right people to get things resolved. As pointed out the gripe is really with the finance company they are the ones you have a contract with and not ICT . Does this mean that the cut off date has now been reached for all non payers, as this will affect more than just the 1 fan in question. I once had the TV licence detector people round at my house accusing me that I didn't have a TV licence, I told them it had been paid but they had no record and showed them a bank statement as proof of payment. There was a mix up on their side and had registered me as paying for another house further down the street?? Problem solved, I didn't go off on one and tell him I would never watch TV again. Can we now assume that the highly intelligent staff at all of the gates have memorised the name address and seat no of all non payment customers and their super quick brains have flagged this up before tearing a match day ticket out. Something doesn't add up to me.
  13. I would say the man can play at a far higher level than Dundee, anyway why would he want to leave a SPL club to go back to the 1st division to play for Dundee? If Dundee were to win the league the players are literally sacking themselves as money bags would soon push them out the door to make way for higher calibre players around 4 players would be kept for the team, Plan B is to beat Dundee on the last game of the season. Plan A is to be 3 points ahead after playing AYR on game 35, with Dundee having to beat ICT by 4 goals to go up.
  14. I have leapt from my seat on the half time whistle and hastily made my way down to the pie que and stood there for half an hour, thinking to myself why am I still in the que in the second half, I must get served any minute now surely, I have a compelling urge not to give up on the time already wasted in the que and foolishly stand there like an idiot whilst missing a good game of football, well I'm refusing to do that again, I just buy chips now and get served by people hungry for my money. The highlighted above is the main reason why every single fan is at TCS, the pie shop comes second to this, fans are willing to spend more money at the stadium but are being prohibited from doing so. The problems. 1,The food is more expensive but there is nothing to justify the price hike, 2,The staff are too slow 3,Total gridlock, all access routed blocked of significantly hindered. 4,No guidance as where to stand 5,Health and safety issue, Have a chat with the manager and see what he proposes to do to resolve the problems that are occurring. Hes the manager, he should be motivation his team, not walking around with pie trays trying to force his way through congested crowds. I would suggest hanging a writing board on the back wall, If its out of stock its up on the board, always look here first before ordering. Get some queueing poles with the ribbons, and have a snakes and ladders queueing approach like at passport control at larger airports, with 2 entry points and enough space to swiftly leave the serving area too, for crowd control. The above will improve safety and allow more access around the area. 1 team leader who makes sure there is hot water in the urn, the pies are getting restocked and writing up on the board etc, Motivate the youngsters, get them switched on,create teams, 1 on the till who does cash and drinks and a half time helper on pies, give them bonus targets on top of their pay and an extra bonus for the best 2 pairs with the highest till roll when cashing up, this creates less wastage so all the bonuses are created by selling the food that would have been binned.

Paul of the Ritchie. I'll have the gold-plated Mini Metro, please, Bob. Your right but TSTtiger beat you to it, the runner up prize is 2 tickets to any Ross county game of your choice, subject to availability.

Can anyone guess which ex ICT players mum, worked at Dens Pk until she retired in either 2008 or 2009
  18. A 16 team league would be good, there are too many teams in div 1 with great potential and only 1 place available each year and the quality of the team to win promotion has to be so good that they usually overtake the other bottom SPL teams the following season. It gives employment to out of work players, (no reserves) as squad nos are increased. The number of games couldn't decrease at for loss of revenue so home and away once =30, league split and another 7 = 37. 1 relegation and a play off with 2,3 and 4 in div 1. Freshens up the SPL. A club could survive relegation and try to win promotion again with out putting itself severely in dept. Who would be in favour Falkirk, Killy,St Mirren,Hamilton,St Johnstone. For fear of relegation. this must also be a niggling fear for Aberdeen and Motherwell too. Against all current clubs will loose revenue from 1 -2 OF games So financially 5 clubs would be in favour, 2 clubs may go along with it, and 5 clubs would deem themselves to be safe and would have more of a gripe about losing OF/TV revenue. Morally more may be in favour as to give other clubs a chance and to give a new lease of life to the SPL
  19. Darren is a great people person and that shines through at the hospitality but I would like him to spare a thought for the rest of us. What I would really like him to do is to come down to the eating area at half time and assess things, can you walk from one side to the other safely, what is the average time it takes to serve a customer, where do you que, why is there such a gridlock, do you think a small child would be put in danger standing/passing through the bottleneck at half time. Why does the burger van have such a fast turnover and the pie shop so slow, why is the access to the burger van directly opposite the congestion for the pie shop, Can the burger van be moved closer to the main entrance and use another door to stagger the ques, can an external cordoned off walkway be created between fire exit doors to improve access.
  20. It is cancelled you daftie . :023: Tue 13 April is the soonest then, at least the legs are fresh for Dundee.
  21. There was plenty of booing but it was directed at the numpty holding the cards. So if players hear booing they shouldn't get paranoid and think its directed at them I don't want it to get to the stage where 'Should I cheer on the players for missing the goal but having a go? do they think I'm being sarcastic?' Just get stuck in and stay in the zone. It was also good to see the well behaved youngsters in the main stand lower B, they seemed to enjoy themselves, hope to see them back soon.
  22. If anyone is running late for the match today, watch your speed as we cant go around breaking the law.

With yet another game postponed it looks like they will now be playing 12 games between 2nd march and 10th april. 2 games a week for 5 and a half weeks. That may be another one dropping out of the pack, as long as we keep picking up the points though.
