  1. Well done for raising the issue. The BBC sport website wasnt much better either yesterday with the main SFL page being covered by Stirling Albion winning the cup, how many were at this title deciding game? 1102 !
  2. Well done to Les Kidger for the making the day being such a memorable one, well done to Titch for the commentary and getting the fans off of the pitch,we have come a long way from trying to kick a football in to the boot of a vw beetle for entertainment. And polished off with a fine performance from Terry after the game. The noise the youngsters made in the away stand was excellent, if that was a first football match for some, then what a great day for them to remember. Its also good to see so many teenagers at the game, these are the fans that do our recruiting during and after school by talking about ICT. I hope the season ticket pricing will encourage these fans to turn out in number next season. What a great day and we even got a football match to watch as well.
  3. It humoured me when he kept mentioning the Dundee fans there were only 50 or so.
  4. The council should be organising something surely seeing as the local economy will be boosted by visiting SPL fans. Open top bus? It would be more fun if they went around the town in open top cars following T and M in a rickshaw.
  5. I think its further if you count walking round the pubs and still in good voice at 3 am.
  6. Far too early for those idle layabouts to leave the club, I hope they come good next season, now Barrowman hes a class act hes worth watching.
  7. I think 14 is a step in the right direction, The clubs with a smaller gate play more games and increase revenue 40, the ones with the bigger attendance play less games 36,also bearing in mind that 3 or 4 of those top 6 clubs should also be playing games in Europe and going further in domestic cups The SPL is currently 38 games and you don't even know how many home or away games you are going to have. I would say its a lot fairer than the mystery split.
  8. Didn't get one either, can anyone copy and paste it. If its for the away fans, then I believe they have had a positive effect on the team. Of the away games that I have attended not only have I been proud of the players but also proud of our vocal away fans.
  9. Is this an internetters or Caleythistleonline sponsorship As I feel the latter deserves more recognition, or am I being pedantic.
  10. Dundee may have a few absentees for the team selection. -----------------------tooth ache-------------------------- Piles-------------headache-------sore tum mum-----sick missed the bus--receding hair-----cramp----bone in foot -----sore ego-------------hurt labia majora in training
  11. Shouldnt you lot be supporting the queens of the south. I'm getting tired of all this campness, I'm away to wax my legs.
  12. Any idea where the team will be this summer who are they playing and what dates. Might even be able to book some cheap flights if we get a bit of notice.
  13. MFR will broadcast live from the Stadium from 2 pm and circa 2.20 pm on to the pitch will come The Highland Marchers -- hardy Caley Jags fans who have been walking from Ayr since last Saturday's game. Terry Butcher hopes to march round the pitch with them. This is followed by live entertainment -- a special musical act which is being kept under wraps to surprise the crowd. This act will also perform at half time. After the game, we will have a Hampden-style stage presentation on the pitch as the trophy is presented to skipper Grant Munro, with another surprise feature. After the medals are handed over, the manager and players will take time from their lap of honour to be interviewed live on MFR. Copied this from the first post if they are also playing at half time I would say its highly likely they are playing prior too. What is classed as a 'special musical act' is it the topless singing woman who plays with fire from Britain's got talent?
  14. Its been made pretty clear now. Regardless of ICT getting fined, if a fan is stupid enough to run on to the pitch after all of these warnings when ICT score against Dundee, they are going to miss the rest of the game, the lifting of the cup and maybe even a ban for next season. Save it to the end and enjoy all of the day. A reliable source tells me that Dundee's training this week consists of seeing how fast they can run down a tunnel when they hear a whistle. Something to do with Butcher asking the fans not to strip the players.
  15. count me in too, for the caleythistleonline sponsorship.
  16. Wonder who will turn up? will any of the band have a connection with Barra ? Or is it the sugar babes.
  17. Just noticed this on the dee forum, posted today. 4 train tickets from Edinburgh to Inverness on sat if anyone wants em for free Have tae travel as group o four tae be valid tho. Gimme a shout on 07515279198 So if four of you are hoping to come up by train for free eh, you had better come up with your best Dundonian accent, eh, and gi him a bell, eh.
  18. looking forward to us fans seeing the cup being lifted. It has been mentioned that there are no pictures on this post, I have heard that Dundee are bringing the Alba cup with them just to gloat, so if you cant make it to the game heres a picture of their cup.
  19. Just to quash the other rumour going around I will be eating in my house with the missus
  20. We are invincible SPl here we come ! "Dundee, backed by Aberdeen businessman Calum Melville, are the second-highest spenders in Scotland this season behind Celtic". bbc sport
  21. Any messages for the players. With this bunch of players, I think we can hit the ground running in the SPL. The team can almost finally put to bed the devastation of relegation from the SPL and they did that with the help of each other as a team. I know SPL survival would be a priority but we could may well have our best chance of reaching the top six as a unit if we start picking up points early on, as other teams get accustomed to having new faces in the ranks. It would mean a lot to have the same core of players showing their worth again in the SPL as a team. So sign for your manager, your team mates and your fans.
  22. When you go back to Tayside take a message from the Caley Jags. Take a look at your backer and realise it was a waste of cash. I was reminiscing the other day. You had such a great lead and you threw it all away. Inflated egos and hot air. But its us thats going to the promised land. When you go back to Tayside take a message from the Caley Jags. Take a look at your backer and realise it was a waste of cash. Dundee no more, Partick no more, Morton no more, County no more. Dundee no more, Queens no more, Pars no more, County no more. Dundee no more, Raith Rovers no more, Ayr no more, County no more. The first division no more.
  23. 94 + 4 in hospitality, (bet that was booked up well in advance, according to their forum 8 were going and now four)
  24. Jimmy says aye to the killie pie.
  25. The police won't segregate the stand they don't have enough plod to do it. Against St Johnstone the away end was full up with the Caley jag fans would imagine the same would happen again. I would expect about 100 dees fans tops, going by their web site I get the feeling their season ticket sales are going to be low next season.
