  1. Okay, I mixed it up with the report on ictfc where only a booking in the first half is mentioned in the stats. Sorry
  2. Just one wee thing about the report: Vine was clearly shown a yellow when he conceded the penalty - you can see it in the Highlights...
  3. BTW, has anyone mentioned that we managed 5 league games in a row without a red card ?
  4. Well in that case we should probably take Ross Tokely on a one-game loan as keeper
  5. Won 8-0 in the Scottish Youth cup. :clapoverhead: :clapoverhead:
  6. Good luck to the lad!
  7. Maybe they've been bribed by organizations outside football who are interested in retaining the current state of terms?
  8. What if the winner is scored at 9.33 in stoppage time?
  9. Oh yee of little faith!!! They will shock us at the beginning by going 2-0 up. But then the usual ICT fightback will see us win 3-2
  10. One point that might become very important for this qualifying round is Serbia. Don't underestimate the possibility of them getting expelled and banned completely for a few years, in which case Scotland would "win back" 2 points on Belgium and Macedonia, while Croatia haven't played them yet. Serbia is also the reason why I doubt that both Belgium and Croatia would finish with 20 points ore more if Scotland win all remaining games.
  11. I'd suggest IHE. He seems to be good a psychology
  12. Berra was all over the Welsh player and that was a penalty, it went in our favour and it wasn't given. Its hard to take when a goals chopped off but being honest Wales were the better team in that second half and at least deserved a draw. I thought our chances of qualifying was back on around 70 mins. Thats it though, absolutely no chance now. Change the manager and start planning for Euro 2014. Just saw the highlights... Berra: penalty, also the Adams tackle against Ramsey. Fletcher goal: the ball was never out of play, but there was an offside position before the cross. Double error, correct result. So don't complain about poor refereeing as most of his major errors went in favour of Scotland! BTW, it was the referee who didn't see the Ukrainian goal against England as fourth official. Shame on our German referees
  13. Be positive: Scotlands didn't lose 6 goals like Ireland did. On the negative side, with results like that they will struggle not to finish bottom. Sad but true.
  14. Actually no. I live closer to the Danube :P
  15. As I said in another thread, he was nothing but poor. I don't want to make an excuse for him, but he's not the only ref with exactly these problems. BTW, our friend Madden had the Germany vs Faroe qualifyer tie just after his "show" at Tynecastle, and didn't look too confident to me, though he couldn't do much wrong. Extraordinary pressure lowers confidence, without confidence it gets more and more difficult to do even the basic things right. Same with players, look at Shane Sutherland in the first few games. Excessive TV replays are exactly the reason for all this pressure and the problems we have in football in our time.
  16. I've been a ref for 19 years, though never above medium amateur level, and I've had poor games as well, but the overall standard of professional refereeing seems on the decline. Switzerland for example didn't have a Super League match without a major error since August. Same with Austria, and in Germany it's not very much better. The only reason I can think of is the unbearable pressure by the media...
  17. Fine, so I might find a stream here in Germany :)
