Out Of Contract Players
I think some of the youths might be ready for a loan to Div 1 or 2. But on the other hand, there's still the U20 team which is doing quite well and shouldn't be weakened either.

Sunderland ban fans for standing
Fully agree with DD. It was long known (internally) that the main reason for the Hillsborough tragedy was failure of stewards and police, as we (the common people) learnt in the last months. So all the action taken was nothing but a cover-up for this failure, as the police must always be seen as saints. So the football authorities should act on this new knowledge and change the rules to a sensible compromise. One word on the German model: It's necessary for those clubs who want to play in Europe, because UEFA is even stricter with standing areas, and the only way to fill them is to change them into seats for international games. I've seen qualifying matches with sold out seats and empty areas behind both goals because they couldn't be fitted with seats for the game.

Wonderful Johndo, but shouldn't it be Old Filth?

Don't worry, McKay hasn't scored yet...

Derek Adams still greetin
What should Bayern Munich have said when they were to play the likes of Rostock or Cottbus with no airport within 100 miles and a 9 hour bus trip?

Why don't you start writing it yourself?

Caley All The Way (book)
I tried to download the original book with added material yesterday, and, while the download itself worked, I only got an error when I tried to open it. Something like "damaged file". It was the same both on Preview and Adobe Reader 9

The 'No Pressure' Thread
Alex, the Prague one is called Staropramen. And you're right, the first Pils was brewed in Pilsen, hence the name. But the guy who invented it was actually from Lower Bavaria, he went to Pilsen because the local brewers in the 1840s were so bad that nobody wanted to drink their beer. Nowadays, 70% of German beers are brewed in the Pilsen tradition.

The 'No Pressure' Thread
If ICT really qualify for Europe and draw the Czech side Viktoria Plzen (Pilsen), I'll be there at the away match. It's a shorter trip than Munich, and Plzen is the home of Pils

Section E treatment
Fraz, should I really have misunderstood the intent of your post, my sincerest apology. But I ask you to try to understand that I have quite a few Turkish (and other foreign) friends here in Germany who are often subject to discrimination and abuse, and in the light of the racism debate in British football this conclusion jumped at me.

Not Highland League?

See? I can recall worse trouble from Old Filth or English or Dutch games. Also, in Turkey, flares and the like are perfectly legal.

County replay ticket sales so far
Lizi, why? They are right. You don't have to like OTB, I don't either, but a derby has a bigger crowd which means more cash for ICT, and isn't banter much more fun against a team in the same league? See the positive side, the Tinks aren't sectarians like the Glaswegians. It's only important that ICT always stay above them...

Osti: At least here in Germany, the biggest liars are politicians, bankers and cops. Don't think it's any different in the UK. Fraz: No need to turn to racist tones...
