Strengthening for Europe
...not only that, getting to the group stages would be incredibly demanding for a very small squad like ours and would seriously impact on our league form. I'm with the posters above - go and enjoy the experience using the format that has served us well over the last few seasons. A couple of loanees might be an idea to add a bit of depth with minimal risk, but financial stability is paramount.

OK, so Raven out means that Meekings goes to right back and Devine gets the whole game.

Cup Final ticket sales
If right, we're probably at about 8000 sold then.

Tricky. We need to get the balance right between resting players and maintaining momentum, as well as giving game time to those who will feature in the final (e.g. Devine). I'd go with: Esson Raven Meekings Warren (Devine for 2nd half) Shinnie (Tremarco at 60 min) Tansey Draper Watkins Christie (Ross or Doran at 60 min) Williams Ofere Subs: Mckay, Tremarco, Devine, Ross, Polworth, Doran, Ferguson Time to really use the subs for more than just a few minutes at the end to waste time. You also want to give "fringe" guys the chance to stake a claim for a starting place in the final.

Nice thinking, Scotty, but I'm afraid we've got a while stack more achievements to go in before the final! For example, best goal difference and fewest goals conceded are a possibility. I'll need to check, bu most wins in top flight is likely too. Sorry to spoil your symmetry, but the team's just been too successful!

I'm a bit overwhelmed, to be honest! Wow! What a team! What a club! What a season! It doesn't get any better than this.....unless they lift the cup on 30th of course! Beach balls for Saturday? Well done to everybody connected to the club: wish I'd been there...

Really you think ? It doesn't matter what way you spin it, this attendance is not good! HThe weather, midweek fixtures, Champions League etc, etc) all combined to make it what it was. Scant consolation is that, while our attendances are poor (given our league position and this historic season) Hamilton, Partick T and Ross County all have smaller attendances this season, while St Mirren, Kilmarnock, Motherwell and St J have similar average gates to us. So, the problem is not ICT's, it is Scottish Football as a whole.

Exactly - not impossible! I agree with DD that we need to seize the day at Dundee and get this over and done with.

Cup Final ticket sales
I'm not sure whether there was a complete free-for-all with respect to choosing seat or whether they were being sold section by section (with a choice of seats within each section). There was certainly an open choice about which stand to be in (North, East or South): South was no concessions and F1 (East) was singing section. We're in F2, and we were allowed to chose where in that section we wanted to sit. Hope that helps! Lwet's just hope we want to see the cup being lifted!

Queue was about 2 hours from 11 am; it was slow because people were offered the choice of seats, rather than allocating (which is good). JH got a good cheer and round of applause when he turned up for training! Singing section is F1 for those interested. Stadium are available to help with pricing and choices - no concessions in South stand; East stand is cheapest. That's 34 more punters there to see history being made....

Yogi manager of the Year
Superb news: had a sneaky feeling he's do it! Now for those other targets, Europe and Scottish Cup!

Big G's formation for me!
-
current form
One word - "confidence". That's all that's different now compared to earlier in the season. The games against Aberdeen and St J sum this up: leading in both in the final 30 min and coming out with only one point in total reflects the jitters in our play late in these games as opposed to the confidence we showed when we were sealing wins at the beginning of the season. IMO we're playing pretty well for the majority of these games, but just can't nail them at the crucial moment. Will take any kind of scabby win to turn this around!
