The Dee at home 3rd Dec
I really didn’t enjoy the Dundee game. Someone needs to man manage Carson to stop him trying long passes, that’s what led up to the goal. The team generally felt like they were trying to play beyond their limited capability. It was our kitman Jack’s last home game before he departs for pastures new. I’d have thought at least a mention on the tannoy would have been in order for the over seven years of service he has given.

Loans
I saw this story about Haaland; https://www.sportbible.com/football/erling-haaland-man-city-loan-transfer-20221114?source=facebook If you could choose to loan a player for a month, who would you loan that would realistically come to ICT? Christie?

Morton friday night tv game
I wonder if there is a bounce factor amongst the players not injured? They might have thought their chance wasn’t due for a while and here they are manning the ship near the top of the table. In a weird way it feels like the adversity we faced against Arbroath in the playoffs or the season we went up when miles behind Dundee. Or when Graham Spears said he would eat his hat if we stayed in the SPL. I’d not be surprised if we won tonight, or if we lost. It’s not boring at the moment!!

Raith Rovers -V- Inverness CT
Great stuff lads, well done. It takes grit to get a result like that in the circumstances. A win against Raith with our severely depleted squad makes for great reading when we get players back later in the season. We all needed the lift!! Onto the next…another 3 points up the road boys!!

There are so many injured, next there will be a conspiracy about wage insurance 😇

Motherwell -V- Inverness CT - LC
Loved that 2004 video, such great memories. The rapid counter attack was so exciting to watch and very effective, Barry Wilson was unplayable. How I wish we could counter like that again!

We really need a win to pick us all up after all the on and off field shenanigans. Let’s hope it happens tomorrow for us (Edit…)

Inverness v Morton - Preview
Chalmers is a big miss for us and we have not recruited a replacement. I thought Shaw was showing promise when he came on. I thought Danny Devine could have done better than Carson in that game there. So we have a few big players out - Welsh, Walsh, Sutherland & Doran. Can the club look to our new physio for an injury resilience programme? I’m far from an expert but there must be a strength, cardio and flexibility plan to prevent such reoccurring issues and perhaps this is already a thing. As one other poster said, injuries are costing us big time. It was a bit baffling having Barry, Kel and Dodds all trying to mastermind the game and that’s the best three heads came up with. Ryan Esson must be doing a superb job as GK coach though as Mark Ridgers made some superb stops and commanded well.

Congratulations on New Club Record
Can someone talk sense on this thread please, what is this all about?

New ICT Away Strip for 2022
A fantastic top, well done ICT. I’ll be having one

Mark Ridgers
Congratulations to Mark Ridgers on breaking the club record of 67 career clean sheets with ICTFC! Surely our best ‘keeper we have had and a great servant of the club.

Players need to have a LONG HARD look at themselves.
I’m asking myself the question “which players are Premier League standard” in our squad, but also under contract next season. In the eventuality we were promoted via the playoffs that is. In the context of where the squad is I think it would be one of our greatest achievements to date if we were to get promoted and stay up if I’m honest.

Here is the New ICT Home Strip
I love it

Scot Gardiner and backroom staff - Is a big clear out required? Issue is obviously way bigger than just Dodds...
Can anyone post up all the roles at the club in a structure, essentially anyone that is on the payroll? Is there any official publication of this anywhere? It does seem like we are ‘management heavy’, but I’m conscious it’s tricky to understand the roles and need for them. Do for example, Heart of Midlothian or other clubs publish this type of information?

Inverness CT -V- Partick Thistle - Preview
Shane definitely suits being played up top and dropping deep isn’t his game. I thought Samuels looked sharp and was played out of position. It was a shame to see him subbed. I’d have liked him positioned in behind the forwards. Carson works so hard but I think he is better in midfield and he lacked cover from the midfield tonight so he was exposed. McAlear and Welsh were over-run in the midfield given the formation and 4-2-3-1 would suit those two better in protecting the defence tonight. Chalmers needs an end product to his game and gave away possession easily. He has promise though so more game time for him needed. We need a better delivery from wide areas generally and set pieces and our goal ratio from these situations is telling. An early delivery as opposed to running channels would help unsettle defences.

PPV
As a regular subscriber to ICT PPV I wanted to congratulate the club on providing an excellent product. Iain Auld is a very talented commentator and by far the best one I have listened to online. He has a fluidity and professional sounding commentary that really is top class. Ross Tokely is also superb and every comment he makes I find I agree with - his tactical insights and passion as an ICT fan make our PPV a joy to watch. The camera angles and replays are good with only a few minor glitches. Well done Iain, Ross and ICT!

Billy Dodds
I think there was enough positives earlier this season to make me say BD should stay until the end of the season. RF had been honking throughout apart from a couple of good results.
-
Billy Dodds
At least let him have the season, the end of which is a better time to judge how things have went.

Inverness CT -V- Hamilton - Preview
Both goals for Hamilton were coming today. I thought Allardice was superb in the first half and Harper was also a stand out. McLear should have been subbed for MacGregor at 50mins and a change of shape too. Shane was unlucky not to score after good running into the box, only for a good save by Hamiltons keeper. Billy was frustrated today but did well to set up the goal. Poor Carson was handed his dinner a few times and crosses were a weak point for us to defend. More cover needed from midfield. 4-2-3-1 next week please; Carson Broadfoot Devine Deas Allardice Harper Walsh Sutherland Macgregor Mackay

David Carson
Well done David Carson, his excellent performances are a matched by his versatility and his award is definitely deserved!

Positive messages for Robbo
I’ve just seen Robbos news feature on STV tonight and on the back of this I thought I’d start a thread for positive messages to Robbo, here’s mine; Robbo, I think you are a very good manager and a great match for our club. From my experience, our fans believe you are elevating our club higher than resources permit and in that regard you are adding good value and that makes you one of our best assets. Your approach to youth players is so encouraging and our club feels like more of an Inverness club than it has in a long time. We can’t be there in person at the Caledonian Stadium to give you my backing in person, but we will return in numbers at some point!! Keep the chin up, lockdown is temporary ☺️
