  1. Definitely. I don’t know where the problem lies. Do we think we are better than we are? Do we think we can’t go down? Are the players affected by the off field issues? Are there issues off the park we don’t know about? We need to get a grip, and fast. We have decent players but are lacking the cutting edge that we should be capable of. We should not turn on McCann. He’s come in at a difficult time, but I agree that trying to change the style of play at this stage is not sensible. We need to play to our strengths and go back to the 4 2 3 1 that served us reasonably well up until Christmas. If we can keep Doran fit and get better deliveries to the front players, we can turn this round, but it will be a challenge. At least the league is tight and a few good results can make a big difference. But everyone at the club needs to accept the reality: we are in relegation trouble.
  2. 18 played. 9 to play. We are second bottom. Must to better, and fast!
  3. Sums our night up. Toddy offside after Sutherland hit the bar. Goal disallowed.
  4. Deas booked too. That’s five tonight. Tells a story in itself.
  5. Any word on Robbo and Kells? Hopefully they are able to return soon. The players don’t seem sure what they should be doing and we are lacking confidence as a result. Other than MacGregor’s shot and Toddy’s effort, I don’t recall us causing Morton any trouble.
  6. Allardice booked. He must be getting near a suspension.
  7. We’ve done nothing since going behind and have seldom sent the ball near Doran. Morton hadn’t won in 10, I think the commentators said. This will be 1 win in 12 for us if nothing changes with 3 tough games looming. Help!
  8. Have we gone 3 5 2? As things stand, we are 9th.
  9. 1 down. We seemed to stand off. Not good, and against the run of play but no great surprise! We need a big response now.
  10. Good to see the Morton player who slipped in the box get straight back up and not try to claim he’d been fouled. Quite surprising!
  11. Not the best half of football but conditions poor. I think we’ve shaded it since the early scare. We will have the wind advantage second half but need to make it count. Morton are no great shakes but neither are we at the moment!
  12. Our best effort there from MacGregor. Well picked out by Sutherland. Decent save as Wyness101 has said.
  13. MacGregor wide right, Sutherland wide left and Keatings playing off Toddy by the looks of it so far. And we’ve already struggled trying to play it out from the back.
  14. Seems Trouten was sent off for kicking out at MacGregor off the ball.
  15. Good to see Doran making the bench and McHattie in the squad too. Presumably Storey is injured as well as Harper. With Keatings and MacGregor both starting, I wonder if we are 4 4 2 again with Keatings up front with Toddy and Sutherland and MacGregor wide. We will see soon enough, but my worry is that we are lacking pace in the line up. I’ve been suggesting we play Allardice and Carson so will be interesting to see how that works. Its good that we again have Iain Auld as co commentator. Come on the Caley Jags! Cheer us up with a win!
  16. The wind certainly is picking up. In our last game last season before the pandemic got games suspended (by coincidence on the same Tuesday last year), we mastered the wind and comfortably beat Queen of the South. Oh for the same tonight!
  17. Sounds like Harper could be a doubt for tomorrow: https://ictfc.com/match-preview-morton-h
  18. PPV details for tomorrow night’s game, remember it is a 1900 kick off. https://ictfc.com/ppv-info-morton-h Come on guys, three points please!
  19. Can I politely request you continue this in private, please.
  20. Watching today’s covid briefing, Rangers were asked twice prior to the weekend to issue messaging discouraging events like what happened, but they failed to do so. That is shocking. After the Celtic Dubai debacle, both clubs seem incredibly divorced from reality, or they think they are somehow immune from the issues facing the rest of the world. Football’s “red card” may be a step closer due to both clubs’ actions and the idiots who risked public safety yesterday.
