  1. 5 for Aiden Wilson for Rothes tonight. Dale Gillespie, Andrew MacRae and Ali Sutherland all scored for Brora.
  2. Robert posted a topic in Caley Thistle
Just what we need, our game against Partick is now on 24 March and live on the tv. We’ve no 1500 Saturday game at home now until 8 April!
  3. A generous 1 from me now.
  4. 12 points out of 45. Have we ever been that poor before?
  5. Picking up on IHE’s comments, who’s the better left back, Harper or Delaney? Delaney was getting MoM points for fun earlier in the season but faded a bit. Harper looks better in a more advanced role. I’d bring Delaney back for Saturday as hopefully his spell on the bench will have motivated him. Or do we put Deas in as he’s the best of the lot despite being an excellent centre half. What’s happened to Lewis Nicholson: is he injured? Hopefully Samuels is fit enough to start in place of Mackay, but who do we play up front? It’s a big ask of Cairns but we’ve no other out and out striker available.
  6. Shaun Rooney for Fleetwood tonight.
  7. And then Queens Park away. And we forget, despite that alarming league table since 15 October, we had the Manager of the Month for January…
  8. That says it all about the last four months.
  9. I’m insane!!
  10. Sometimes it’s just not to be! Look forward to your assessment of the game overall. We need to get a grip as I am now looking at the teams below us rather than those above us.
  11. Deas and Samuels on for Carson and Mackay.
  12. I fear not. 2-1 down.
  13. I commented to my pal on Saturday that we needed to score when on top in the opening 20 then. It sounds like tonight could be the same. I hope we don’t get caught with a sucker punch.
  14. Agreed. Carson is tough so maybe is adamant he can play on.
  15. Hope we kick on and win now. If the BBC Sport app is correct, we had 11 attempts in the first half, but only that one on target, although the text says several attempts were “close”.
  16. We need at least two!
  17. Looking at it again, I think you’ve called that right. It would have been a bit soft though but explains why he didn’t chase back right away. Hope he scores our winner tonight!
  18. Tickets on sale now for the Quarter Final on 10 March: https://ictfc.com/scottish-cup-quarter-final-ticket-information
  19. I’ve completed the survey and feel “it did what it says on the tin”, covering all elements of the match day experience. I did highlight in the comments section that my main gripes are the ongoing poor communication by the club and the queues at the catering outlets at half time. The survey rightly does not stray into performances. I hope it gets a good response and results in improvements that will benefit us all.
  20. The tea lady may be the best option!!
  21. Our away form is better than our home form, and we are due a win against Hamilton. I may be insane but I’m quietly confident.
  22. Hopefully talks taking place with a number of those about to be out of contract, especially Allardice, Deas, Devine, Mckay and Samuels. The youngsters deserve more time too, possibly also Shaw. Doran, Sutherland and Walsh are tougher calls: all depends realistically how fit they can be and what we can expect them to contribute.
  23. I’m glad Samuels has spoken out and cleared the air, but the club could have killed the issue stone dead months ago. Their report on Saturday, which is a fair summary: https://ictfc.com/match-report-ictfc-0-3-hamilton-accies
  24. Noted yesterday: Sam Winnall for Buxton Toddy for Dunfermline Nat Wedderburn for Stenhousemuir Dale Gillespie for Brora Harry Hennem for Clach
  25. I thought Shaw was in the “no 10” role supporting Mckay but also dropping back to bolster the midfield, with Mackay wide left and Henderson wide right. Carson and Henderson tried hard to link up and create down the right, but we struggled down the left. Mackay had a great opportunity one on one but his first touch let him down, whilst Harper was one of many who’s passing was poor. Teams in our league know to press us at goal kicks so we can’t play it out from the back and that when we go long we’ve no height. Early on we were good enough to overcome that, Allardice tending to be the outlet to create space, but then it all went wrong with hoofball or poor distribution. The only saving grace is that our away form is better than our home form (despite some batterings) and we’ve four away league games coming up. I just hope we’ve a big enough buffer from the teams below us…..
