  1. picking up a player of his quality on a free would be a major coup...lets hope we can do something to make us stand out from the crowd that's likely to be after him.... goals off the bench maybe....
  2. so not going for the money then!
  3. this was always going to be the case when trimming down the squad to more efficient numbers. it is quite jarring, although as long as we have adequate cover for suspensions and fatigue I think we'll be fine. should a similar situation occur as it did this year, with major injuries across the board, I'm sure the board will have contingencies in place yet again to provide 'emergency cover'. now....to increase the footfall at TCS and increase the budget moving forward.....
  4. Ah well.... I'm sure plenty of people on here will be glad to see the back of him. I thought he was coming on quite well, and his goals were handy too, but he probably feels he can get a start somewhere else, whereas here, he's likely to be a squad player this coming season. Hopefully we can pick up some cheap cover for the defence....
  5. wear last season's one....
  6. as ive said before, this information really needs to be on the main ICTFC.com website, perhaps a link on the fixtures page or the ticket info page? I think your missing out on a lot of people who either don't use facebook or don't use forums or don't use either.......
  7. I really cant understand why a late reveal would diminish shirt sales? if you want one, you'll buy it when it becomes available?
  8. gutted. absolutely gutted.
  9. Has anyone - Sneckboy - had the chance to bring this list up-to-date? Looking a good bit healthier now I'd think, even though some ??marks and gaps still.
  10. if we ever lose tansy we should take Mark Wright on trial!
  11. Delighted with this news, not surprised, but buzzing that it's now all official. glad at the length of contract, as I'm sure it won't be an easy season coming up, and I just hope we can all be calm, and have patience? as it will take time for all his changes to be implemented and to become successful. also happy to read things like 'togetherness' in the statement, as well as a focus on unity between all parties, and already stating a desire for involvement with the fans. two weeks ago I was dreading next season...now I can't wait!!!!!!
  12. Yeah, I emailed the club about it and was told that the under12 season ticket holders are automatically enrolled in it, and stuff will be sent out soon
  13. Surely should read .... Keith Jackson is to journalism what Charles Bannerman is to journalism....
  14. However, since the board made that statement, the clubs management structure has changed somewhat. This could have had an effect on discussions. And we all must know by now how much of a stumbling block agents can be to progress.
  15. Don't suppose it's a coincidence that all these extensions are finally being signed now that Yogi has left the building?
  16. Always talks about ICTFC respectfully when he's on Sportscene. Would have good contacts..... Could do worse.
  17. Also shows how damaging his comments to the press have been....
  18. I'd be happy with any one of those combinations. Foran as manager, playing with the development squad the way Hamilton do it. Similar sized club, budget, retention policies....
  19. Lots of people hating this decision, and tbh I can't make up my mind. Kingsmills post sums it all up nicely though. i don't agree however, with our perception in the media being tarnished bla bla! Perhaps, things could have been handled differently, but the board are operating without hindsight! To suggest that the board of a club at the highest level of Scottish football have 'no vision' is rubbish also. They might not communicate that vision, or the budget may not match that vision, but there will still be a long term plan in place. This may simply be 'survive' and to that end, they are succeeding. The club still exists, and for another season, exists in the premiership. However the new manager is, they will have a budget, and they will know from this, that the budget available is very inflexible, and 'if your not happy with that, don't bother trying to bully us' I actually think in this regard, the board looks quite strong. im happy they never yielded to the pressure, I only wish they'd taken that view before extending his contract. It would've saved money and face. good luck in the future yogi, thanks for the memories.
  20. https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/sport/football/inverness-caledonian-thistle/923510/its-all-over-now-for-hughesbudget-comments-coming-back-to-haunt-manager-as-inverness-board-start-working-on-severance-package/
  21. 'Mutual consent' would of been far cheaper than 'severance package'! 11 player squad next season anyone?
  22. How much will this hurt the budget for next season? Did the board have this in mind when bidding for Miles? Will this allow a u-turn on Raven? Will this encourage or discourage those with pending offers to sign? So many questions. No answers. Scary times. who's next?
  23. It's not really valid for you to raise any issues in this thread, given that you don't pay for your entry to an ICT home game!
  24. Point to remember - Miles Storey never was ours
