  1. Second time I've got a red dot for saying the same thing? Unless it's for showing negativity to the steward? no, I never tbh, didn't think anything more of it until I saw him having a drama with the young team. not sure about regular, but he was at the last home game too, took a bottle of water off a guy and tried taking a bottle of juice off a young lassie but he clearly didn't want to get into that minefield!
  2. Agree with this. Not just this league, but fitba in general. This has already become an overused phrase but...Just look at Leicester....or Man City, with all their money etc they may have a season where they win nothing, and possibly not even 'win' a champions league place. i am a supporter of ICTFC therefore I will be renewing my season ticket, and I will be hoping for but not expecting a good season. And if we get relegated then I will again renew my season ticket and once again hope for the best. This is what being a fan/supporter is all about. If we start talking like only attending if we are winning we are in danger of being like Celtic and The Rangers and Man Utd fans.....#facepalm
  3. Did he get into a fight with Josh??
  4. Just further evidence of his narcissism! I would jump on the Yogi-out bandwagon, but we can't afford that either! Maybe we could set up a crowdfunding page to bolster the funds (enough to keep the Rave and Storey and pack Yogi's bags) the board can deal with the rest!
  5. As I said somewhere else, that very same steward was swearing in front of my daughter as we were making our way through the turnstile, I did manage to make him feel very small, but clearly he's just a ****! Handled it all wrong, as I've seen him do many times before!
  6. What's the point? He's here now and Yogi won't play him...why waste a wage on a bench warmer? maybe head round to Danny's house and break one o his legs or something? That appears to be the only way the Rave will get a look in! Disgustingly stubborn behaviour from Hughes on the Rave. Quite happy to play Vincent and Williams though. As someone in the crowd said on Friday..." We are not happy"
  7. Aye, wasn't a good day for the stewards! The same one that was having bother with the young team was swearing in front of my wee girl and I had to tell him off! That was before I was even through the turnstile!
  8. Remarkable work!
  9. It's that chicken and egg thing.....
  10. The League should help to subsidise away tickets thus reducing the overall cost to supporters, and hopefully increasing the attendances... People are fickle creatures and would end up spending the same amount of money, but more would take up the option of travelling away. Also, not every supporter is a member of CJT or CTO so maybe bus information should be more obvious on the official fb page or the ICTFC website? Either the ability to book it or at the very least the contact number.
  11. Yup, and I would also disagree with the opinion that Sportscene do a good job! It's gash! Im sure at least some of the games would come close to the entertainment on show south of the border, but it's produced in such a way as to make our game look crap! So we get rubbish money and a rubbish product!! Sounds about right!
  12. Players that played in a TEAM that weren't good enough for the SPFL. p.s. What's the Premiership?
  13. And to that end, how much has the dropping of points in the last 10 minutes cost us? Top 6, cups etc. ££££££
  14. I think it's all relative. How much did the injuries cost the team this season? I'm just guessing and I have 0 facts to substantiate my claim, but I would say that this kind of investment would pay for itself very quickly.
  15. This image clearly shows that you're wrong. Whilst they may have a 'high by our standards' budget, it's actually relatively very low, in fact one of the lowest in their league. Regardless of the amount of money in their owners bank account. this is very much a David slays Goliath fairy tale. If the mighty ICT won the spiffle on out humble budget it would be regarded as such and rightly so. Even though Wick Academy would decry our massive budget.
  16. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3572275/SPFL-poised-double-TV-money-BBC-finally-agree-cough-2-8million.html i know its from the DM so plenty of salt to be pinched but worth 30 seconds of your life to read.
  17. The club have offered free tickets to the children of Hilton Primary, I'm assuming they may have approached the other local schools too....if this encourages some adults to attend too, it may fill up the stands for the cameras if nothing else. cancel that - this is actually for the final game of the season vs Dundee. My mistook!
  18. Re-iterating that it wasn't his doing that it took so long to sign as well
  19. This one sentence epitomises the CaleyThistle fan!
  20. Yes. and the line about players playing for contract offers is clearly a kick up the arse to everyone that's started their summer hols already. Hopefully it'll make the run in a bit more meaningful and entertaining. its clearly a response to yogi's moaning- you know the budget, you have done for a while go and find some people worth signing and we'll sign the cheques! We would like to keep Miles, and we know he is keen to stay. I hope they can secure him for a while longer, not a prolific scorer, but if played in position may well put more away. Also a much needed injection of pace in the team
  21. Good news Polly!!! he's one of our own! And finally some communication from the board - tells us enough to keep us happy without saying so much that they give away targets etc to other clubs. Unfortunate that nothing mentioned regarding the future of the Rave...is he really going to go.....?!
  22. If the Youth Team would return then I wouldn't be able to hear myself either.....any explanation for their absence, since funnily enough the County game?
  23. why no 'facepalm' emoji?!
  24. Maybe I just need to sit somewhere different....
