  1. Big game today, a win could potentially cement us in the play off spots and keep us too far realistically from Dunfermline catching up. Cannot allow ourselves to switch off like we did against Alloa though as Falkirk will not be as lenient. Got to get ahead and keep pushing for more, bodies on the line no complacency. To start dropping points now after all the hard work would be disastrous. Hope Welsh being out is not hugely detrimental
  2. Macdonald is definitely not fit and will not be playing today certainly. Robbo said that midweek
  3. We are sHyte.... I hate supporting caley now we are the most boring uneventful side ever, junk. Cship mid table side at best ever. Red dot me and face-palm me all u want
  4. Junk. As we've been all season... Boring and ultimate losers. Nothing to get excited about... Let's move on next season beckons. More of the same no doubt, can't wait

More to do with the coaching than the striker in my opinion. Our coaching staff are ****... Kellacher needs removed. Hopeless
  6. Lord knows we need some to warm/wake us up
  7. How predictable, either a loss or a draw in the league. Big chance missed with qos beaten, not going to make any difference now anyway to deserve a chance at promotion we need to win games and we clearly can't do it

  9. Looks like we are set to secure Darren McCauley from Coleraine after all https://m.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/irish-league/coleraine/darren-mccauley-set-to-complete-switch-to-scottish-championship-37735381.html
  10. EK stayed up overnight at the Drumossie so a lot of pressure on this going ahead. No mention of any pitch inspection yet which would tell me there's no concern
  11. St Johnstone apparently making a bid for Polworth.
  12. Oh dear old caley girl, you are more deluded than I ever thought ???
  13. Beith is an absolute waste of time and money, I have my doubts we'll ever see him on the pitch. Time to admit that was a mistake and offload, for a club with so little funds, removing players like him is a must
  14. From P&J this morning Caley Thistle manager John Robertson says strengthening the attacking areas of his squad is his main priority during this month’s transfer window. Robertson is determined to add further reinforcements to his squad during January, having already secured former Hearts and Kilmarnock left back Kevin McHattie on a deal until the end of the season. The Caley Jags boss is now looking further up the field in his efforts to add more depth to his squad, with the Highlanders looking to bounce back from successive defeats against Ross County and Queen of the South when they host second-placed Ayr United on Saturday. Robertson said: “We managed to work the budget in a way where we’ve still got a wee bit of money left to bring in a player or two if possible. “We are looking to bring in an attacking midfielder or wide man, and a striker, but they are virtually impossible to get. It’s January – who is going to let a striker scoring a lot of goals go? “If there is somebody out of favour, that would probably involve a transfer fee which we are not in the position to do. “January is very difficult to get a lot of business done, unless somebody is getting released from another club or other clubs want players off the wage bill. “You may be lucky – we got Nathan Austin and Coll Donaldson last year under the same circumstances. “You’ve got to find people who may not fit elsewhere, and see if they fit what we want. We know what we are after. “We are hopeful of bringing in two, possibly three if we can, and we are still going to look for our younger players to push on. “We have made a few inquiries about players, possibly on loan, although it’s still increasingly difficult to even get loan players to come up here.” Robertson, who returned to Caledonian Stadium for a second spell in charge following the club’s relegation from the Premiership 2017, insists he is constantly looking at ways in which he can keep his squad challenging at the top end of the table Realistic I guess but Not exactly inspiring
  15. Tansey signed 18 month deal at St Mirren
  16. It was very quiet up until Walsh scored then I felt people were starting to waken up and actually enjoy the game, until it all went pear shaped. This is the problem though, the players give us little to get excited about, if we were charging into goal scoring positions and testing the keeper, hitting the post or having shot after shot blocked... Whatever... The crowd would get lively. Its the fact that any possession is boring and slow and any advance at goal is snuffed out without any real danger
  17. Nah you miss my point Alan, I don't think Robbo is a big part of this problem.... My interpretation is robbo allows Kellacher to run the bulk of the coaching sessions and decide the tactics and he picks the team. It's been the same way since yogi was here and we've had foran since then too.... Robbo is a good manager but I don't think he has a huge influence in the way the team are set up to play, that I believe us down to Kellacher. Everyone used to blame rice, we can't to that now and that's 3 managers in and all the same style of play only person that's been there throughout.... Kellacher. New ideas required from top to bottom.
  18. I think the time to change the coaches is now, we've stuck with this slow passing style attack since Yogi and the one guy that's still here is Kellacher. Time for a change, we're the ONLY team in the championship that once we get the ball and break actually STOP and reassess before slowly building up towards a laboured charge at goal. Both of QOS goals today came from an intercepted ball and a quick charge down the pitch, with some good passing and awareness but quickness was the key to both goals. I have never seen us do that in the last 4 years, we simply can't play that way... It always ends up stalling and passing sideways and out to the flanks before the attack fizzles out and its out for a goal kick. Throw all the new signings and exceptional strikers at this all you want, but it's the style of football we play and the way we choose to counter attack that is killing us and until this is addressed we will continue to be a mid table Cship side at best
  19. Oh god, we seem to get linked with Dow every year
  20. It's simply backup, with tremarco having been out and now Rooney suspended which will mean pushing Brad into RB against QOS shows very quickly how exposed we could be as the season goes on. Only until end of season so no big commitment and really just replaces the void Calder left us
