  1. This is great stuff.... Just the boost we all needed to get our season going properly and more importantly the confidence builder before the big one on 22nd
  2. This is encouraging stuff..... Some effort and as it stands we just need Falkirk to level against county for a perfect weekend! ?
  3. Once again last night, like so many games over the last year we are a team that for long periods of a game appear to give maximum effort for very little if anything of an end product..... In contrast once again, our opposition generally only have to apply minimal well timed effort but execute it with maximum effort and clinical awareness. I feel we got "lucky" with whites goal, it was a perfect pass in and white was perfectly placed to deflect it in, but in amongst a mass of defenders that will only pay off 1/10th of the time, the break that Dumfermline made looked to be at worst, a shot at target as soon as the break started. The amount of pace and space that the attackers were offered was what every team are looking for.... We occasionally get it but we never use it to our advantage and any sprint at goal fizzles out and we allow the back line to reform. Its the same old story time and time again, goals win games not chances
  4. Heard a new interview on radio this morning with Robbo, expect to see about 7 changes tonight to the lineup and Daniel is to start
  5. Yeh I get that pal, I wasn't questioning your restraint I understand why you didn't react and probably sensible thing to do... The boy was just stupid and needed a slap to waken up and realise that there's kids about
  6. As long as he aims about 6 foot left of the goal ?
  7. Seen that happen bud.... That was just stupidity... No reason for the boy to do that, not permitted and opening himself up for action by the club. You restrained yourself well.... I was amazed you didn't clock that stupid lad in the face... If that had been me I'd never have been able to hold back. Hope your wee lady OK
  8. I have to agree with caley D though, shankland may well be a great striker but he's still very much lower league quality. He's only as good as the team behind him, and as long as we contain them not just him then we stand every chance of not only competing with but beating Ayr. We are only going on the basis of ONE league game, granted this game was against Partick who as we a know are an ex SPL team... But they are an ex SPL team for a reason. We were there this time last year and we know how hard it was to adjust. Its easy to get carried away, but I believe if our boys do everything that's expected of them on the day, not only will we contain Shankland and the threat he poses but we will beat Ayr and anyone that thinks that's not possible may as well send back the season ticket and give up hope of promotion or progression now
  9. I wondered that 2, can only assume the black would clash with Falkirks home strip but then surely in that case we wear the home strip? Bit odd
  10. Yup I agree with that... Good to see hearts get that win today confirms what I thought last week... That we were beaten by a very strong and composed Premier League side. We didn't do a whole lot wrong before the 3rd went in
  11. Feels like he’s been with us forever

    Hearts Game

3 home games if you count the Dunfermline Cup game midweek too, going to be a busy week but sometimes that's better anyway
  13. Your absolutely right, I have so many friends that support one of the big 2 but never go to any games (unless it was at the TCS against ICTFC) and actually buy hacked TV boxes so they don’t even have to pay to watch their teams own subscription channel!! To me it has always just smacked of pure glorification, and the fact they can brag to their mates and colleagues that “their” team won at the weekend, but generally can’t tell you who was playing or who even scored. I’m a relative newcomer to ICT, in any real sense having got my first season ticket in 2013, and it was purely to have something that would interest my then 6 year old son. Since then we’ve gone through the ups and downs and as much as the downs were painful, we keep coming back and we look forward to coming back and it’s not about expecting another big cup win or winning the league, it’s something that I believe can’t be measured or explained easily, but for me and my boy it’s the fact that feeling a big part of a club and a team that generally defy the odds and can be the dark horse when otherwise given little credit or exposure. I hate the fact that we hear that the board aren’t doing the right things in spending money in the right way and the detailed evidence that shows and proves it, as to me that starts to make me question why I put so much of my hard earned money into it, but I guess like so many fans at so many clubs up and down the country have to adopt, is the attitude to a certain degree anyway,..,that “ignorance is bliss”

    Hearts Game

Was bad enough watching it the first time around... I even avoided the STV news just in case. Gotta hope this galvanises the team into looking for revenge on sat otherwise were in for another slow start
  15. Worst that will happen is a warning and the game being replayed, given Leveins chums on the board. No real punishment... If it was us we'd be thrown out
  16. Just park at Magnet/Highland motor parts, problem solved
  17. Yes and to the same extent Ryan, your right he runs exactly like they did and actually looks very much like Ryan from a distance quite uncanny
  18. Thought Chow was decent enough, kept the ball and made some decent runs and passes. I would take him. Decent performance from all, especially young Daniel what a player he is and that goal was sublime. Massive player for the future. Doran had a great game too and bossed the midfield and directed the guys well. Thought polworth was shocking today, I can't remember him connecting one pass or playing a decent set piece. He is great at mazy runs but he very quickly runs himself into trouble and passes to the opposition every time. Thought Rooney looked good and played the RB role well, whilst still playing up the park and pushing forward. Silly tackle from Brad, and then even sillier reaction to the player he fouled. Can't expect not to get a reaction from a 2 footed jump in. Great promising play from the youngsters too, especially Cameron harper and Ross Gunn.
