  1. Well, we can, but it involves the final day of the season and an unmentionable action that could lead to a banning order, and not stopping until change happens
  2. Really hoping there'll be minutes on this. Been unable to attend the Open Meetings at the Innes and Caley Bars, but this is far more important than those.
  3. Surely the king's shut that wee runt up now hahahhaha
  4. Don't worry, only 7 more wins and results elsewhere to go our way and the title is ours
  5. Not enough donations, and the Sections been dead most games anyway. It was never going to happen anyway, the crowd numbers are so inconsistent due to all the big game weirdos appearing for one game then it dies off when we play Morton at home, so putting up a roof would be pointless. Have a feeling it was more of an SG Project to make fans think they've got a voice in happenings at the ground
  6. There's no chance of a merger, ever. Both clubs have too much history in the Scottish Leagues to even have it being considered a possibility. It'd be like Aberdeen and Cove Rangers merging, ones got a ton of history under their belt and the other made a quick rise through the leagues. Neither set of fans would allow it to happen in fear of losing their own club's history, which can draw comparisons to our own merger, but that was to get into the leagues rather than for the survival of a big name team in the Highlands. Once Uncle Roy either kicks the bucket or withdraws support, and nobody moves in, then I can only see both sides being in the same situation as Dunfermline or Falkirk, floating between League One and the Championship.
  7. The club? Communication? WITH FANS!? Don't be daft
  8. Gardiner needs shot out of a cannon back to Weegieville
  9. Perfectly understandable. Wasn't going anywhere anyway. Singing Section is far better in the North Stand and gets more people involved
  10. Was over there for their game on Sunday and the difference is night and day. 1. Queues for scran aren't out the wazoo and they actually have enough staff to hack it. Staff also appeared to be entirely made up of local teenagers/college students, which presumably kept costs down 2. Ample free space outside to mill about in and get food and do activities in (similar to Gardening Leave's grand tailgate visions, not that we have space for it). 3. (Nothing we can do about it but) pints, glorious pints, with a partial refund scheme where if you bring your cup back rather than binning it, you get a discount on the next one, and they had vendors going up and down the stand with drink. 4. The ground itself is quality, nearly all of it is terraced/safe standing and the entire stand behind the goal is up on its feet throughout. Unlike here where you've a higher chance of taking a Werthers Original to the back of the skull for letting someone out than you are seeing us win a game. There is things we can probably take away from it, but as for us going over there for a friendly, as much as I'd like it to happen, I can't see it happening any time soon, but I can't see why we can't get a partnership scheme set up where we get dibs on their academy players who are needing that extra kick up the arse in terms of gametime.
  11. Welp, hopefully we can beat Kelty next season
  12. Our 30th and the cities 25th (24th if you want to be that guy). Hopefully a revitalised Inverness Cup with all the Inverness area based teams involved, right down to the I&D, and possibly an invitation to our foreign relations teams in a one off special edition, no byes, one big free for all
  13. That probably won't happen. If it gets rejected in the next round, then thats the door effectively shut, but the club are geared up for a legal battle and quite possibly a ScotGov intervention appeal. So if they stand their ground with the toys out of the pram, then there's still a glimmer of hope from a higher power
  14. Bloomin better be. Sacrificing extended time in Augsburg to get back in time for the game lmao
  15. No. The defense cost us the goals. Lets not go full Doddsball and drop Ridgers to the weans to "prove a point". When you've Ujdur, who has proven he is more than capable, sitting on the bench for 90+ minutes, with a defence full of kids who've done sweet sod all, its stupid to try and blame anyone but the defense and the management...
  16. Unfortunately, in a situation like this, tough tits. The club have every right to be pissed off at the current situation. They did everything the Council had asked to bring the project up to scratch, and it got approved, sealing a future for the club for however many years/decades to come. But now, because the council haven't done their job properly, the club's back creeping towards deaths door. It's like if you won EuroMillions and when you go to cash it in, they start babbling incoherently about how you didn't win because the machine that was giving out the numbers started playing up. You're not joing to stand there and say "oh, okay then" and periodically check in and say "hey guys, hows it coming along then?", you'd be kicking up an absolute storm demanding your winnings and readying up for a legal battle against them. Have to remember it's not just football thats at stake here, it's people's jobs, before and after school activities for kids, leisure for seniors and this, that and the other that the Council are ready to send down the Ganges then sit on their hands when people start complaining.
  17. Got a word in from Big Dunc, the coonsil better watch out now! https://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/news/this-absolutely-stinks-caley-thistles-slams-highland-co-342390/
  18. Makes you wonder why they weren't there at the appeal meeting full stop. As someone else said, there's probably absentees due to conflict of interest. When its specifically an Inverness issue, surely the smart thing to do would be drag in the Inverness Councillors, but instead they've taken one from an area 66 miles away and others from god knows where. They've cocked up, made their bed and they need to lie in it. All the coonsil have done here is made themselves look heinously incompetent.
  19. If I had a quid for every time the coonsil's made a right arse of themselves, I'd have Sheikh Mansour'd this club into the Champions League...

  21. Aaaaand there goes the appeal to the Scottish Government... Cheers, Highland Council, for shooting us in the face at point blank after giving us a lifeline. Competent as per... 22. It's happened before on a far smaller scale (just a random hole here and there) and the panels have just been swapped out, but with just shy of 20 odd years with two fans to a seat for quite a lot of our games, it's a surprise its taken so long to happen. The stand itself is highly likely to be structurally sound for a decent while yet, just the flooring needs swapped out for something that can hack the weight and has a longer lifespan. Just need to wait on word from the club on whats happening, either through an (unlikely) statement or being brought up at the next fan meeting.
  23. Aaaand there goes half our earnings from the Battery Farm, on building an up to scratch set of stands and/or the ensuing lawsuit... https://twitter.com/rjs334/status/1756382836758552749?t=83osJPtsZptCdy-fsLAt0A&s=19
  24. They've invested in Donkey Cowie on an interim
  25. Would be a worthwhile payment of 2 quid n a penny mix
