It's too blue. In previous seasons, there's been the red to compliment the blue, but now we're back to a block of colour. Plus the blue looks too dark (not sure if it's the lighting or not), and it kinda reminds me of the C*unty home kit...

Was reading the thing for "XI of the Quarter Century" on the club site, and it still mentions about big opposition for a friendly game. Any clue as to when this will be, as it seems we've already got a REALLY tight schedule as is, and it would seem a bit late having it next summer, and doing it in the winter months (like the charity game vs C*unty, 2 years ago) again, seems like a hassle especially depending on who the "big opposition" are...my shot in the dark guesses are either Bolton or Astra. Can't really name any other big teams that would be worth arranging a friendly with that we haven't played a lot, as Celtic are yes, big, but not really a special game...

Don't think Baltacha counts...think it was more of a mutual cancellation rather than a sacking...iirc, it was to be with his family down in Perth.

Matty Machado has been class in both games, but tbf, most Brazilian footballers are... Actually glad his dad came to us asking for a trial for him than C*unty, can defo see him being a comparable player to Dan MacKay, and who knows, if he impresses enough he might be following Dan into the Youth Internationals. Just have to make sure the Dons don't nick him once he becomes decent...

I have a feeling something MAY be done at our home game v Arbroath, as it is more or less 25 years to the day (almost) since the first game vs Arbroath... But that's just speculation, nothing confirmed, other than that, I'm guessing there's no more fancy fixtures, as they seem to end more or less as soon as the LC starts.
