  1. Nice piece of fear mongering courtesy of the Daily Record...I get that we're strapped for cash, but we're a fair way away from Administration... https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inverness-caledonian-thistle-face-administration-20392996.amp?__twitter_impression=true
  2. Going to try and go. Doubt there'd be a supporters bus running, so the only train through is ~12:30, which is rather early considering the station is more or less right on the doorstep of the ground, so its just lurking around Forres for a good 2 hours, hopefully there'll be a decent turnout despite likely being crashed out after the trip go Ayr...
  3. I'd replace him with Aaron. Carl, I feel, has past his prime, and is simply there to provide experience and to teach the youngsters the tricks he's learned over the years. No disrespect to Carl, love the man, but I feel he's either leaving the club or hanging up his boots at the end of the season. Can see him moving on to coaching afterwards, he has gone and done a thing with "The Other Foot" or whatever it's called, so he's either back off down to England or player/managing in the Highland League...
  4. Tbf, I think we deserve to celebrate in a way. Still in 3rd, and the ugly sheep got humped 5-0 by Rangers...
  5. Well...at least someone remembered something, unlike the ref who seemingly left his cards in the glovebox of his car...
  6. Just remember they're celebrating being off the bottom on goal difference ??
  7. Swear they left when we went down. Regard those fans as scum, hopping on board when we're doing decent then leaving when something goes wrong. No loyalty in them...
  8. Shame that it's only one charging point and it's in the staff part of the car park. Surely it would've made more sense installing them along the home and away stands, so you can top up whilst watching the footy...
  9. Doesn't really help the fact in the past few seasons, most our players have left for free. If I'm right, everyone last season who left, went for free...
  10. It's 3rd vs 10th, and they've only dragged out two draws in all 6 of their games. Easy wins on the card, not as much as that Morton game, but certainly a decent margin...
  11. Yeah, (pray to God it never comes to it) if we do go under and have to dissolve, I'd hope all our fans would go to support the revival club rather than scampering off to watch Clach or C*unty...
  12. If we call the new club The Inverness Caledonian Thistle F.C., do we get to keep the trophies?
  13. Somewhat related, but Grae Rae and McPhee have left their roles... https://ictfc.com/club-statement-4
  14. Never knew that. Guess you learn something new every day...
  15. First Professional, First International, and a local boy. One of our best players from what I've heard
  16. Legend- Alan Hercher or Richard Hastings, maybe Pele, but I don't think Pele would come under the rules... Memorable Moment(s)- David Raven Semi Final, SuperCaleyGoBallistic, Europa League Debut
  17. Maybe it would make sense for the club to open up a shop in one of the many empty lots around town, the high street is usually packed with Tourists, so it'd get us exposure, as, an industrial estate, is hardly a tourist hot spot. We've got a similar situation to Stoke City, both of our stadiums are based in an industrial estate next to a major road. However, they have a club shop in the shopping centre, and when I visited, it was packed (not the store, but it did have reasonable foot traffic) and there was quite a fair amount of tourists. Not sure if it was cos they were a Premier League club or not, but having a club shop away from the stadium, is going to give us more exposure. Hell, Celtic had a club shop in the Eastgate, and we had a wee corner of the Victorian Market for a little over a month when we made the Scottish Cup Final...
  18. Nope. Was the First Round. Clach are also at Home next Saturday in their replay against Nairn, in case you'd (god knows why) rather an early Scottish Cup fix over a 3rd vs 10th clash. And for further info, the Second Round Draw is tomorrow night at 8 or 9 (According to the Fort William Twitter) on Sportscene. So, there's a chance our weans can be facing up against our other training team, Elgin. Clash of the Caley, if you will...
  19. Jokes on them, they can't play. Be sending them packing. Beat Arbroaths 36 goals... Also, we start in the Fourth Round this year.
  20. Yes and no. Their attacks weren't very edge of seat attacks. But we were just gash towards the end of the second half. WHY THE FECK DIDNT ROONEY JUST SHOOOOOT MUN.
  21. ...Five... Christ on a bike, have we given the Fort other things as well as our weans?
  22. Is it too much to say I hope we thrash them like Morton?
  23. Get Auntie Wilma in to back us with her half. ?
  24. What even happened to that 10k or so that went to the finals in 2015 and then the near sell out game vs Astra? I'd say barely over a few hundred still actually go, and we've brought in some new people since, it's shocking how many we've lost. (I assume) they've all gone off to C*unty when we went down (as we still had packed stands for most games, and not relying on the away support to raise it past 2000) and they were just bandwaggoning. As they have done for most of our big milestones (this year's Scottish Cup Semis comes to mind, haven't seen most of the support since) But I think it's more down to our lateness in getting a League side here. It took a little over 100 years to get a side established, whilst Aberdeen (the "local" SFL side) had the backing of the invernesians who wanted professional league football. The only way to win these people back is pushing for promotion, then work on becoming an established Premiership side, and continuously push for a top 5 finish, and if we're feeling daring, pushing for Europe. Otherwise, we'll be stuck with a dwindling attendance...
  25. I mean, at least Elgin is a shorter distance, plus relatively cheap Rail Fare...
