ICT V Ross Co Record Attendance ?
5846 for the first Div 1 derby of 09/10 season on 29th Aug 09 at TCS when County won 1-3 was broken in Dingwall by a crowd of 5928 who watched a boring goalless game. A crowd of 6120 watched County win 1-0 at Dingwall on 3rd Jan 2004. Own goal from Gollie sealed it for them in 83rd minute. The bigger crowds seem to have been at times when ICT were flying high in the league. I can see these figures being broken if both teams are holding their own in SPL. Assuming, of course, that both teams meet in SPL. Incidently Charles I didnt trawl through any alladins cave for the stats. Only this site

Penalties
Tomorrow we wont need a penalty. We will win by playing good old fashioned honest football.

ICT V Ross Co Record Attendance ?
So basically what folk are saying is that ICT's support is a false one and that we will lose numbers to County. Personally I believe another highland team in the top league will be good for scottish football. I also believe that the competition for revenue between the two clubs will be no different to what it is now.

Aberdeen Tickets
Two days till christmas and I have time on my hands.....................Since coming into the SPL our biggest home crowd, at TCS, against Aberdeen was 7368 in 05/06 season. Since then we've been around the 6000 mark. Rangers, I believe, are the only team to have sold us out. Interestingly, on the subject of crowds, our average home crowd in our first full season at TCS was 5016. Our last full season (10/11) was 4495 and the average so far this season is 4103. What I wonder is the drop in average attendances due to less ICT support or are less visiting fans travelling?

Aberdeen Tickets
Being as how this fixture has never been a sellout. Its a 12:30 kick off and its christmas eve I should imagine there will be cash gates.

Standing
I think there has to be barriers that would stop crowds surging forward. The seat backs would be deemed too low for this. Not sure that the german type seats could be used in our end stands either due to the material of construction not being strong enough to hold them rigid.

Standing
In other words its unlikely to happen in the next few seasons.

Standing
Id imagine Ross Co would have to have at least 6500 seats elsewhere in the stadium IF they didnt want to change the jail end from standing According to Doncaster the 6000 covered seat rule will not change. I can see County demolishing the Jubilee terracing and building a stand similar to our north and south stands. That with some extension to their east stand would give them the required capacity and the jail end could still be used if allowed.

Where do you think ICT sits?
I hope to feck that by 3pm on saturday we are 45 mins into celebrating a victory and not thinking about scoring anything..........unless it wears a skirt of course.

What the new ruling says is that clubs can apply to the SPL to carry out a trial to see what suits and what problems are encountered. The local authority safety board also has to agree to what can happen. It could be that terracing with safety rails is acceptable. It could be the German folding seats scenario. It could be that, in our case, if we want to put a canopy over the west stand, and the fact that only about four or five rows of person can stand there, that would be seen as a safe option. The changes allow clubs to put a case for whatever they think fits and if approved by all concerned may happen. Different things will fit different stadium. Steep high stands such as at Tynecastle, I should imagine, will require some sort of anti surge barrier whereas our north and south stands may be seen as suitable as they are. What must be remembered in this debate is that anything that happens in the near future is experimental and the outcomes of the experiments, by the clubs that wish to partake, will determine the acceptible way forward.

Standing
I wouldn't think it would take too much to resurrect the whole west terracing. A few rest rails / barriers and a canopy. Only thing is the other stands would look even more empty on an average match day.

Team for Aberdeen
Think I'd go with the same lineup and tactics as for Ibrox

Where do you think ICT sits?
Barring one season we have been an SPL team since 2004. We should stay as one but will always hover in the lower half and have some more relegation battles in the future.

Foran's best game
Refs stop games. Not players. Foran done what was right and, hearing no whistle, played on. Had Jelly not gotten to his feet I think Richie was going to kick the ball out of play but he didn't. I had the pleasure of being a guest in the Govan stand yesterday and the rangers fans around me agreed Foran done the right thing.

Hogg out for season?
