  1. The registration window opens on 1st July
  2. Personally I dont believe a word of it but if true then I wont have a need to subscribe to Sky.
  3. I can see there being a lot of negotiation and an eventual yes. For me these negotiations would need to address the following: Move towards 16 team top league. Only one governing body in Scotland. League sponsorship and TV monies shared equally among all teams in league. TV coverage to be set to let every team have the same amount of air time in a season. Not whoevers playing OF. Maybe even look towards the MLS model of player management that does not allow any one team to be dominant every season. More emphasis of the development of home grown talent and less on foriegn journeymen. But no none of that will be discussed and chairmen will be bought off with idle promises.
  4. From official site Six-Hit as pre-season card is revealed Caley Thistle have currently fixed up a pre-season match programme which includes visits to four Highland League clubs plus away games at two Scottish League clubs. Skipper Richie Foran and the team will kick off at Buckie Thistle at 3 pm on Saturday, July 7, and then on the Tuesday will play Clachnacuddin at Grant Street Park, Inverness, at 7.30 pm. The next evening, Wednesday, July 11, North champions Forres Mechanics will be the opposition at Mossett Park. Ross Jack's Elgin City, who have former Caley Thistle centre half Jamie Duff in their side, will host Caley Jags on Saturday the 14th at 3 pm. Brechin City, managed by former Hearts and St Johnstone player Jim Weir, will welcome us to Glebe Park on Tuesday, July 24 (7.30) and the following evening the team play Wick Academy at Harmsworth Park. Chairman Kenny Cameron said:” There are two or three other fixtures to be finalised. This includes the possibility of playing an English Football League club at our own stadium, but discussions on this are ongoing. "Manager Terry Butcher will be rotating his squad for this busy series of games to give players old and new the chance to be fully tuned up for the 2012-13 season."
  5. Press release from Kenny Cameron. Rangers FC in Liquidation Kenny Cameron, chairman of Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC, said: ”It is never good to see a Scottish club going into liquidation and it is a pity that Rangers have come to such a position. As to what happens now at SPL level, as far as our own club is concerned this is a time to consult and to take stock. “In the first instance we will sit down as a board and consider what the various potential outcomes are and how the different scenarios may play out. Following that we will be consulting with our fans through our Supporters Trust, as we have done previously on many occasions’. “I would expect the SPL to call a meeting of all the clubs very shortly to appraise us of the current position, at our last all club meeting we were virtually assured by the Administrators that liquidation was not on their radar following discussions with the leading creditors, but as we now know this was not the case”. "This is not a time for snap judgments or rushed quotes on the issue. We will consider our position and listen to our supporters once the picture becomes clearer. Any speculation by certain parties as to how ICTFC may or may not vote on a NEWCO is purely that, speculation and we find it strange that some seem to know how ICTFC would vote under certain circumstances, they must have a crystal ball " http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/513-rangers-liquidation
  6. Tokely had his testimonial five years ago.
  7. overflowing
  8. Think the letter is directed at Kenneth not David. Who is David Cameron anyway?
  9. Hearts decided they wanted rid of a number of people. They used the high earner excuse but I think there's more to it than that. I can see those places being filled by Lithuanian loanee's.
  10. I concur. Vote for the integrity of the game in Scotland and not for the few quid you may or may not gain. The outcome in this will determine whether or not I purchase two season tickets this time.
  11. concurred
  12. Who's she?
  13. I actually prefer a snickers
  14. Eh?! I don't get it, are you saying Kennedy is helping a league when his team are likely to NOT be allowed in (if I am reading your post correctly)? Or helping a league with the hope of swaying votes his way

  16. I understand that a Newco cannot be sanctioned as they are effectively a new business. I would be very disappointed if they were given entry into the SPL. They should have the same criterea as applies to any other team outside the SPL/SFL. Apply for entry at the bottom and come up on merit. Anything else and Scottish football will be seen by the world as having no balls.
  17. Five clubs now need to vote NO to Newco acceptance. The only one that has spoken out with an emphatic NO so far is Dundee United.
  18. I thought our record attendance, which was at home to Rangers, was 7512 and that that record still stands. that was in our first season at home in SPL and I was sure that we added 300 seats in the west stand after that. I'm happy to be totally wrong on that but maybe someone from the club could put the facts in place.
  19. Interesting choice......red and blue away....black and white at home........are they trying to be us?
