Steven Watt was on loan from Swansea and if memory serves right he injured his shoulder and eventually went back to Swansea for treatment. I'm sure this was about the same time Wyness done his shoulder in. As did Brewster. There seemed to be a spate of such injuries. Dean MacDonald was atrocious. Denzil never really got back to form after his injury. Sometimes think he played with a fear of further injury and just wasn't as committed.

I agree it is important to the Scottish game that Dundee extricate themselves from the mess they have got themselves in through years of mismanagement. I wouldn't agree that ICT could just have easily found themselves in the same situation. Our BoD do come in for a lot stick from time to time, but they have done very well in the club's short history to get then where they are at the present moment. Yes they have but ask yourself why Mr Sutherland is making statements to the effect that he'll relinquish his stronghold to incur other investment. Like all clubs this one is struggling. Thats the fact.

Personally I believe that it is important to our game that they get out of this. This situation could just as easily be us. And in time maybe it will. Who knows? It serves no purpose to be smug about another team in trouble when its obvious that we are struggling to make ends meet.

Improve from what? A couple of bad games over the festive period does not indicate a fall from grace in my eyes. We will pick up and we will get back to being the feared away team.

Thinking back we haven't really ever been a dirty team. Defenders will always get cards in the modern game. Blackie was a bit of a hothead as was Imrie. Tokely has been an enthusiastic defender. Other than those I cant think of any seriously bad players who have cost us a massive card count.

It would appear that a deal had been done with Wolves that Leigh would transfer to them for ?150k and would be loaned back to Dundee but SFL have refused this on the grounds that the club are not allowed to sign anyone while in administration and this move would be seen as a fresh signing. Has the world of football leadership gone stark raving bonkers? Here's a way that Wolves were going to provide some much needed funds to Dundee that would help them out of admin and the powers that be veto it. Story here

I cant!! He left div 2 of Scottish Football hoping the streets of Liverpool were paved with gold. Failed to make the grade and is now back in div 2 of Scottish Football.

Had a wee look in IHE's teacup and predicted a win against Airdrie/Morton. Follow this with a QF win against Shire/Buckie/Brechin Semi Final win against Hibs/Ayr/Midden/Peterhead Final v Celtic (outcome of that ones a bit fuzzy)

So we weren't a good enough club for him yet Airdrie were. Oh well, see how he does at part time level. He may work his way up. I think its more like he wasn't good enough for us.

That in itself is crap cos they could have had the SC replay this week and not next.

If Rangers have a backlog of games then why are they not playing one of those next week. Why should we be suffering by this and having our scheduled game brought forward.
