  1. With the make up of our current squad maybe it should be This
  2. Dont think a fish supper should be classed as fast food.
  3. Every one of those games are winnable
  4. I dont think he was sent off for any of the three situations listed. I think it was seen as more of a retaliation than a violent conduct.
  5. Ach the wee man just went in a wee bit hard. Ref only seen it as a yellow so couldn't have been that bad.
  6. But not according to this : Appendix 4 Guidance Notes on Serving of Suspensions a recognised first team player sent off in a SPL match will be suspended for his club's next match in any of the following competitions, irrespective of the competition: the Scottish Premier League, The Scottish Cup or the Scottish Football League Cup, as applicable. Like most things connected with the SFA or SPL rules and regs, it's as clear as mud. Not knowing where you dug that up John I cant comment but according to the body responsible for discipline in Scotland (SFA) I think this is pretty clear especially Para 3.8 which states: 3.8 Serving of Suspensions Suspensions incurred by players shall normally be served in the competition in which they are incurred and shall be measured by the player?s club playing the requisite number of matches inthat competition.
  7. Isn't McBain injured? Yes, he is injured, and so is Jonny Hayes. Also I think Munro will have to miss this one too - I believe after a red card you are automatically suspended for the next game - even if it's a cup game. Grant can play the cup game According to this
  8. Most of the former USSR countries, East European and Nordic countries and the League of Ireland all play summer football. This is one of the reasons that always comes up for our teams doing poorly in qualifying rounds of European competition. All these countries manage to work around international competition.
  9. Esson Proctor, Innes, Hogg, Shinnie Sutherland, Duncan, Ross Foran, Sanchez Rooney
  10. I looked out o'er the Moray Firth at some dolphin playing in the water And a movement took away my eye, on a rock there stood a soggy otter Behind I heard a mighty roar and knew the change was coming The Arabs lost three nil this night, for Caley Europes looming.
  11. Personally I dont think Tokely or Munro should be banned for DU. Had the game gone ahead as it should have then they would have been available to play. But in light of all that then my new team is: Esson Proctor, McBain, Golabek, Shinnie Hayes, Duncan, Ross Foran, Sanchez Rooney Bench, Tuffey, Innes, Gillet, Doran, MacDonald, Sutherland Golly - central defence!!! Jeez Alex, no more guiness for you. I'd get Hogg into defence with Rossco, get Duff to RB, and get Russeldinho where he should be. the thought of Proc vs Conway scares me a wee bit. The rest is fine. That was when I thought he was the only one available for that slot but now I'd give it to Hogg. And if Rossco is available then he'd be in for the injured mcBain, if not Innes. I wouldn't start Doran or MacDonald till they've had time to gell with the team.
  12. Folks have been beheaded for mistaking Smoggies for Geordies
  13. It may only be a training camp at the moment but if these lads keep going as they are doing then I can see regular slots in the dark blue shirt and even the possibility of inclusion to the A squad in the not too distant future. One problem though, with having three first team players on international duty, is having to fill their spots at club level for the times they are away. More especially as that weekend is also cup weekend.
  14. Ah but was he? Or was that just in the minds of the press and people on here. As for Adam, now he has a chance to knuckle down and play as he can. No transfer talk for a few weeks. Possibility to be leagues top scorer now Millar and Sammon are out of it. Still a chance of a cup final. top six and a place in Europa. And perhaps if we achieve some or all of that he'll stay even longer. We've managed to make three good signings and still keep our existing squad. People will know they have to fight even harder for a place so hopefully will turn it on even more on match day. Really looking forward to the run in now.
  15. I believe they both can play
  16. There has never ever been an Elgin - ICT rivalry
  17. Where does that info come from? Munro's ban was reported in yesterdays papers . The Tokely bit???
  18. more away fans than home fans again ? Considering Mortons home gates average around a thousand I would imagine a 'healthy support' to be no more than a couple of hundred.
  19. Forgot to put in my last post
  20. Aye but if you followed the advice of your sig you wouldn't mention that
  21. Personally I dont think Tokely or Munro should be banned for DU. Had the game gone ahead as it should have then they would have been available to play. 22. I think if we've stooped to becoming offended by what others call us then we shouldn't be football fans. After all we've called others some pretty nasty things in our time.
  23. Dont know who I'd play where but we have a choice from Innes, McCann (if he's still with us), Golabek, Gillet, Shinnie, McBain, Proctor. Of our retained U-19's we have Jack Sutherland and Tom Smith both of whom are maybe a bit lightweight. Think I'd be looking at Proctor, McBain, Golabek, Shinnie with Innes and Gillet on the bench. Simply because I'm not sure any other than Innes and Shinnie are fit enough to make a full 90 mins. Fingers are crossed that Terry can find a top class central defender before monday night.
  24. Dundee United are already playing Hibs tomorrow. My mistake, didn't even think of checking tomorrow's fixtures. Strange they're playing on a Sunday. Our scheduled game this week would have been Rangers hence the f*** up last week. DU v Hibs is on Sky 4 tomorrow. Hopefully a hard game so they are burnt out by wednesday
  25. I know.....was just giving our women another chance to learn before they retaliate to SMEE's post.
