  1. Perhaps Tommy puts it away on windy days to stop it getting frayed
  2. I'm sure I joined one a week or so ago called 'Say no to a 10 team SPL' Is that the same one?
  3. What do folk suggest. No matter how strongly I personally feel I doubt I would persuade my kids to stop going to matches for instance.I have emailed the club with my views on the subject of reconstruction a couple of weeks ago but I doubt that anyone worried about what I thought. If anyone can come up with a suitable protest I would consider it. Unfortunately I'm offshore for the next few games but I would urge fans of all clubs to start with peaceful protests and banners outside stadiums pre-match. Also banners inside the stadia, especially those that are televised.
  4. Rory hasn't the time. He's got too many copper pipes to solder
  5. First of, no decision has been made and therefore no U-turn has been made. All that has come out of todays meeting is that the clubs have agreed that the proposal be studied and that the SPL come back with all the facts and figures that will allow the clubs to make the right decision. How long that takes is anyones guess but it does give the fans more time to make noise and make it known that this could kill off the game by killing off the supporters. The people at the top have this as their agenda and are failing to listen to the paying public. They are all corrupt including Mr H. McLiesh. Strange how his review came up with the same ideas that were put forward in 2006. The only way we will be listened to is through protest. I sincerely hope the supporters trusts around the country will get together and act on the wishes of their membership. Are we going to just sit back and allow the destruction of the game and the destruction of youth development schemes in order that two clubs in Scotland can make a bit more cash. I, for one, will find this sport, and ultimately my team, become less of an appeal on a saturday afternoon.
  6. Hope the dude wakes up today and realises the amount of sweet talking it took to save him from being chucked out. Hope also he got many good pics for all his staggering efforts
  7. I wouldn't drop Rooney. He still gives his all for the team. Saturday was terrible conditions so I wouldn't look much into performances from that one. On the other hand Shane done nothing that would make me give him a start the Bronx. Esson Innes Tokely Munro Shinnie Foran Duff Duncan Ross Sanchez Rooney
  8. Have you no got a ceiling to fix
  9. Maybe its something we should look at as well. If you want to see Rangers and Celtic then you need to sit through Hamilton, St Mirren etc.
  10. Debate Lennon, Celtic, The SPL, SFA SFL or any others that may be bringing the game into disrepute all you like but please refrain from making reference to Muslims, Nazi's or any other group that have no involvement in the game of football.
  11. It would take longer to tell the story than he spent searching for the biscuit tin............and that was an age.
  12. My mistake......................were they not then let go because, in our last SPL season, the powers that be, in their wisdom, decided to abandon the reserve league.
  13. You want new song then write them and sing them instead of debating them on here.
  14. Went back to the club. Took one look at the bar queue and decided bugger this I'm ofski.....................so no sore head for me today.
  15. Bearing in mind that this game has been brought forward to aid Rangers and with it being such short notice and not likely to be much more than one to two hundred ICT fans would it not be sensible for Rangers to bend backwards a little and sell on the night. Rumour had it yesterday that we have sold no more than 15 tickets so far
  16. Someone did
  17. Think you may struggle. I believe Blackpool sell their remaining seats {outside of ST holders) in packages of three games at a time. The package for when you want is for Arsenal, Wigan and Bolton. Selling by this method weeds out the glory hunters who'd only go to Arsenal game and makes sure that if they want to see Arsenal they must also buy tickets for Wigan and Bolton. Good idea in my opinion. Whether or not there are seats left after the packages are sold you'd need to get in touch with them nearer the time. Phone the ticket hotline on 0844 847 1953 a couple of weeks before the game.
  18. I could be wrong but I think the lineup was intended as Esson Innes, Tokely, Munro, Shinnie Sutherland, Duff, Duncan, Ross Foran Rooney
  19. At Tannadice? Hmmm - we'll see. What you going to do........bulldoze Tannadice?
  20. Dont you think its a bit unfair to list a number of u-19 players who were let go because the club was relegated and we couldn't keep an U-19 squad?
  21. Personally I wont vote for either because no one player can make a team and without a team neither player can perform.
  22. From eleven am till two pm there was half hourly pitch inspections because of heavy rain and strong winds. Apparantly, at two it was touch ang go whether the game would be on. As it turned out most of the play was dictated by the wind. Ball being held up in it and both teams having problems in that respect. Had Foran scored with his run I think that would have been the end of the game. As it was both teams battled out in midfield with neither getting anywhere and neither keeper having anything to do. Rooney had nothing on his mind and played his usual game. Unfortunately it was very difficult conditions to get balls to him. Ross played another blinder as did Shinnie. The rest at the back were solid as well. Bringing on Sanchez for Duncan seemed a very strange move, especially as most of us could see that Sutherland was getting knowhere. The game was crying out for some changes fifteen minutes into the second half. Unfortunately Terry waited till after the 75 minute mark and after Motherwell had made a change, before bringing on Sanchez. With about five to go Eric came on but neither sub made an impact and the score remained 0-0.
  23. Tis about 200 yards if memory serves correct. Having once again won Clydesdale Bank tickets I think I'll attend. First person to buy me a drink gets the spare ticket. A Guinness has been ordered for you Alex ;-) Too late, someones beat you to it.
  24. The rumour as interpreted by BBC in their friday gossip column is: Hibernian are poised to swoop for Inverness striker Adam Rooney as boss Colin Calderwood is eager to strengthen his squad with Derek Riordan and Colin Nish on their way out of Easter Road. That statement suggests to me that Nish is on his way out of Hibs, not that he's coming to us.
