  1. Rooney scored for the Brums
  2. Can someone tell the commentator that its Motherwell 1 - 0 St Johnstone
  3. C'mon Inverness.......................a win today puts us in 7th and a brilliant psycological position.
  4. And the team is: Esson Proctor, Tokely, Meekings, Gillet Hayes, Foran, Tansey, Ross Tade, Sutherland Bench: Tuffey, Shinnie. G, Gnakpa, Piermayr, Morrisson, Winnall, MacKay. Looks to be very attack minded today.
  5. My understanding is he has been released from Walsall and has signed a contract with us till end of season. Possibly to see if he can hack it in SPL. Do well and he may get an extension or an opportunity elsewhere. Do bad then niether party is committed to the other. When he takes us to Europe he'll want to stay.
  6. From the Swindon Advertiser. The bold bit is interesting. SWINDON Town appear to be closing in on midfielder Lee Cox after Inverness Caledonian Thistle boss Terry Butcher confirmed the Robins' interest. Town are understood to have had a bid rejected for the former Leicester trainee last week but recently returned with a new bid that has been described by Butcher as 'nearer six figures'. And with Inverness recently signing Wolves midfielder Sam Winnall for the rest of the season, that could pave the way for Cox to move to the County Ground. "I have been speaking to Lee’s agent, about another year’s contract but we wouldn’t be able to come anywhere near to matching Swindon’s wages," said Butcher. "They are also looking at offering Lee a much longer contract. They are in the top six now and have big ambitions to go up this year. “We could lose Lee but if that happens, it is great for him and it also sends out a signal to people who might want to come here. “It will show players they can better themselves at Caley Thistle and progress their careers. “Lee is approaching the end of his contract and if he walks away this summer, we get nothing.”
  7. Northern Ireland, Scotland, England, Scotland, Scotland, France, Ireland
  8. According to todays Metro Terry turned down £25k and values Cox at "nearer to a six figure price". Negotiations are continuing. It also says Cox has been offered another year with us.
  9. Don't understand that Alex, what's the difference between the home fans being in the North or South stands, wouldn't make any difference. The visitors would need to have the north end of main stand as well as north stand so as not to clash with the hospitality area
  10. The team for tomorrow will be: Scotland Austria, England, England, France Ireland, Ireland, England, Scotland France, Northern Ireland
  11. It will never happen that the police would allow visiting fans in the North stand........................not unless, for cup games, the club decided to sell the north stand and half the main stand to the visitors and put the home fans in South.
  12. Its deffo a silent G
  13. Seems strange that Walsall would be letting him go half way through his contract considering he's made 26 appearances for them so far this season. With another frenchman added to the squad we'll be playing La Marseillaise before every game next.
  14. The new Rooney maybe
  15. He,s not even 28 yet!! Personally I think Proc is a vital part of ICT on the training ground. He's needed to help develop the younger players and to share his experience of SPL with those brought in from foriegn climes. I'd rather see him stay. I also think Tokes will get another season. And hopefully another season out of Richie. Everyone thinks Hayes will be snapped up. I'm not so sure about that. He has a game from time to time where he's brilliant for whole game but at other times he displays flashes of brilliance interspersed with laziness. He probably needs another season to with Foran to get to the level of consistency that managers of bigger clubs require. Being honest I'd like to see all our current squad together for another season. They are showing now that they are gelling as a squad and team and we are getting some good performances. Lets keep them all and build on that for next season. Besides, we cant be going into europe with a disjointed squad.
  16. Eden Court will have a cut off time to allow unsold tickets to be returned to the stadium
  17. I'm listening to Radio Scotland match commentary
  18. It was Gillet who scored but was offside
  19. Can anyone tell me who the pundit is on radio
  20. Some very brave changes there. We'll either win in style or get an absolute hiding. Tokely, Piermayr and Shinnie on the bench. Is Tokes on the bench as a striker I wonder
  21. 22. Game officially ON!!!
  23. Pitch inspection being carried out right now
  24. Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Terry Butcher: "If Paulo Sergio can guess my line-up, I will give him every penny I've got. "Unless he has inside information, which I don't think he will get. "We will see who is available. I normally name the team on a Friday, but I want to see exactly who is fit. "We know we haven't played particularly well in the last five games yet we have been resilient, a tougher team to beat and been more ruthless at both ends. "This shows we are far more united than at the start of the season, which we said would happen. "The players know each other better, their strengths and weaknesses, and we will need that on Saturday. "I still say the best is yet to come from us and if that is the case then we are certainly looking up."
  25. Doncaster further expanded on his vision for the future of Scottish football. He see's a future where stadia could be demolished and replaced with a couple of portacabins for changing rooms. Without the fans there would be no need for stands and hospitality facilities. No need for toilet blocks or pie shops. Clubs could save a fortune on rates etc if they just demolish the stands altogether and replace them with non-ratable temporary accomodation. There would also be a vast saving in electricity costs. Further savings could be made if the undersoil heating system was extended to the portacabins. When the game was over the excess hot water could be used to fill the baths. Doncaster see's monday night football as the best way for fans to support their team. He believes there will be bigger supports because the majority of the fans will have to stay indoors on a monday night cos they're skint after the weekends shenanigans. He also believes that clubs will be able to cut wages bills by only paying the players straight time for a monday evening instead of the current time and a half before twelve and double time after when playing on a saturday. "This will also be good for the country" said Doncaster. "Families will be together all weekend and will more than likely want to spend time out, using leisure facilities etc, thus boosting the economy" How the fans will react to these visions remains to be seen but for now they are resigned to the couch with a tinny.
