  1. You tell lies but I do live very close to McDairmid and I can say that although its been raining constantly for most of the day it hasn't been heavy and is now easing off. I'm quietly confident this game will go ahead.
  2. If they turn up with taches like Richie's then they should be mabe to play with a leather bladder ball.

    Rory again today
  4. I'm sure the covers will be on at McDairmid. I believe they have a good drainage system so here's hoping.
  5. All youth games, this weekend, POSTPONED except U-15's at Gussie Park Dundee at 12 o'clock
  6. Tracking the MAP HERE Perth catches the edge of the rain at around twelve tomorrow. It then clears till about six.
  7. With none of the top six playing this weekend (QoS v Dunfermline off) the only possible position change is if Raith win they go 4th.
  8. Perth has been missing the worst of the rain and forecast looks much tha same for tomorrow. The worst weather is forecast for north of the city. McDairmid should be ok.
  9. READ HERE Thread closed.
  10. Another case of cheating to back the use of goal line judges methinks.
  11. He was slightly intoxicated, or you were slightly intoxicated?
  12. That's a fantastic interview. I'd only ever really seen Pele speak in after-match interviews, when it was the usual cagey, dour Scottish manager stuff - I'd never realised the extent of the humour and warmth and modesty the guy has. It kind of gave me a shiver when he talked about wishing he could have finished his career at Inverness, like Guy Roux at Auxerre - realistically, it would probably have gone sour at some point, but I still have this dream of us playing fast, recklessly exciting Pele-style football in the SPL. Totally agree with that. He really is a fascinating character. I spoke to him briefly during the book launch night at the stadium - thanked him for putting ICT on the football map, and of course for Feb8th2000 - slightly tongue in cheek I asked if he would ever consider coming back here as manager. He gave me a kind of starry eyed look and replied that it would be a dream come true. What? You saying he's Feb8th's father? I met Pele one night last year in an Inverness establishment. He and I were the only two smokers so madetwo or three trips outside and chatted. Even, slightly intoxicated, I found him to be a very down to earth and interesting person.
  13. I feel very sorry for the Irish team. They worked their socks of and were eventually cheated out of the chance to go to yet another World cup. The big problem in all this is that cheating is, once again, being highlighted in this sport. At some point serious action has to be taken or the game will lose all credence. Can FIFA act and order a replay? I dont think so. I do, however, think the FAI are right to appeal in order to highlight the problems of cheating and poor refereeing within the sport.
  14. pre match entertainment means alcohol in whatever establishment. I know what Donnie Munro sings but what does he sign?
  15. When I go to games with my wife I sit in the main stand because thats her preferred viewpoint. When I'm on my own I usually sit close to the people I drink with. I've been ostrasized in the past for trying to get the so-called section G to show support and that has put me of ever trying to support them again. At my own expence I even supplied them with a flag that I've never seen being displayed. When once I was all for their hype and promises now I see them for kids who see themselves as hero's when we're winning but anonimous when we lose. And very quite for most of any game.
  16. They change it because thats the sponsorship deal. Errea give us the shirts. Errea want to sell. Errea make the contract. Any other supplier would have similar deals. And if you dont believe that ask any other club.
  17. Better make shure that Pele doesnt use the same old invisible ink that he used fer ICT contracts Pele was always a spit and shake guy. Paper was not a strong point.
  18. Curious about the username but, that aside, what your saying is what we dont want. We want people to be responsible for their posts. We want people to realise that there is a variance in viewpoints, ages, colour, creed, etc. We want people to respect each other and each others views.
  19. What is this P&B I hear you all talking about? Sorry if these seems a bit random but I've not managed to suss it out for myself. :) Its a general supporters site called Pie & Bovril.
  20. it is still ballocks.... What does anyone expect. We have a regular fanbase of a little more than 3000. Many of them only go to home games. For their own personal reasons they don't travel. Many others see this competition as mickey mouse. Semi final attendance at home = 2275. That alone should tell you the sort of numbers to expect at the final.
  21. I dont know who would be the best for the job but I do believe it has to be someone strong enough to stand up to the OF. Someone who will not be dictated to on which games certain players will be 'fit' for. Someone who will stand up and tell the OF that if they pull key players from some games then those players will no longer be considered for any games. Someone with guts and determination. Is that person among the favourites?
  22. Be a good boy and it will disappear soon.
  23. Please keep this thread about the subject and not about personal gripes
  24. Bucket, the most important word in your post is....RESPECT We remember banter. That banter was all about respecting the other persons view. Not about trying to score points.. I dont have a problem if someone tells me I talk sh!te. I do, however, have a problem if they tell me I'm a retard because I've talked sh!te.
