  1. That will always be the case. People enjoy the thrill of finals and such but dont enjoy the mundane week in week out football.
  2. 2-1 HT Hamilton 2-0 away to Motherwell puts them in second spot for now
  3. Rene, I believe that goal tally has now doubled
  4. Dig out a copy of Dambusters and study the bounce. And if you're too young to know what I'm talking about google Barnes Wallace Bouncing Bomb
  5. When and where are those activities going to take place Scarlet? Before the game when players are warming up? Most people dont even start filling into the stadium till half hour before k.o.
  6. Scarlet, when do you suggest those activities take place? In the fifteen minutes of half time there is normally something happening on the pitch. Sometimes it even involves young kids. Most fans are in the various food queues at this time as well. The club and CJT already do a lot to promote themselves to schoolkids. There's player visits to schools. Free tickets for schools. Coaching sessions in school holiday time etc. Personally I dont think entertainment on the day has anything to do with dwindling crowds. I think cost is the big factor. The country is in a recession. Most people just dont have the spare funds for a family day to the football. They can go to cinema for a quarter the cost. Many others have other pastimes. The reductions in numbers is not only at Inverness. Its at every club in the country.
  7. Think if you check again DD you'll find we also had 16 points from first seven games last season.
  8. Have you stopped to think that maybe its not the postage cost that put folk off. It could well be the product.
  9. Scarlet, Pom Pom girls in Sneck? Dont think the thick tights and woolly jampers would add to the look.
  10. Jesus!!! Thank fekk for email
  11. Can people not be permitted opinions without being slated for them?
  12. Is it just that I'm out of touch with current costs or is the price of an envelope + first class postage really as much as 60p?
  13. My predictions. 15 out of 18 correct
  14. Sadly my excuse has to be one of the most feeble. I just couldn't drag myself away from the sands of the Yukatan Peninsula. Viva Mexico.
  15. Not according to Oxford. Craftier is an adjective of crafty. Personally I wouldn't attempt to make comparrisons between Mckay and Rooney. They are both different style of player
  16. Not sure how last seasons start was superior to this. We may have had one more goal for but we conceded two. This season 4 wins and a draw with five clean sheets has to be better surely. As to the next three games I believe we can take at least seven points and still keep a clean sheet.
  17. 3,830 is actually a decent crowd for a home game against Killie. Every season the subject of attendances comes up along with the excuses etc. truth is 3000 average is about our level of regular support and we need to accept that. we also need to accept that many who once went to games now find other things that are cheaper and more entertaining. Maybe, if we keep up this run, a few more will attend but I wouldn't expect significant amounts in the near future. At least not unless the sport starts to compete with the cinema re prices.
  18. Inverness CT, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Brora Rangers and Airbus UK Then there were three And now there are two
  19. At the time of posting the BBC had not updated the HL table. So, as of 12.13 pm Sunday 31st August these are the only teams in senior football England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland not to have conceded a goal. Inverness CT, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Brora Rangers and Airbus UK
  20. Good try BigG. Nearly but Nope!
  21. What do Inverness CT, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Brora Rangers and Airbus UK have in common?
  22. So Mark.....next time TopSix offers you a drink you'll refuse it yeh?
  23. I know of some celtic fans, living in Inverness, who attend our home games most of the time. Some of them have been known to get home tickets for Celtic games. It also happens with fans of a couple of other clubs. My view on all this is that it would be brilliant if we could return to the days when we could attend a match with our opposition supporting mates without hassle and without animosity. Many of you are not old enough to remember those times but they did happen.
  24. Does he mean 'thats not a little lie but a big one'?
