My guess is that it will be played tuesday 9th Sep if its T Rangers or possibly wed 10th if its QP Rangers. I also doubt it'll be televised due to it being International week.

Not going to judge Hughes till I've seen how things pan out this season but I have my own interpretation on the quoted statement. One that could just as easily have been misquoted for press sensationalism. "I'm a great believer in that you'll always finish where you deserve to finish and I think we'll win more games than we lose next season. "If we stay up then we'll be happy and anything else is a bonus. That's playing down our chances, we'll let everyone else tell everyone what they're going to do." The statement in bold is one I've heard our fans say on more than one occassion in the past so lets say that Hughes actually said ---- I've heard people say if we stay up then we'll be happy and anything else is a bonus but thats playing down our chances. Lets all give the guy a chance and judge him on results at Inverness and not on results at other clubs.

Having had a decent taste of International football I'd hope Billy will be motivated to expand on that and so not become complacent. It's what he does for us that'll get him the starts for NI over the likes of McGennis and Lafferty

Point taken but as the article says, Oldham have signed a 7 figure deal with them so I think the wait will be worthwhile. I doubt if we are anywhere near 7 figures (including pennies)since we started dealing with Errea! I dont think there's any comparison. Oldhams deal with Sports Direct also includes the naming of their stadium and setting up of a shop within the stadium. The article doesn't say what the figure is nor the length of the deal.

Checked it and England with a population of 53 million have 38 medals so far. 14 of them gold. Scotland with a population of 5.3 million have 20 medals so far. 8 of them gold. I think the scottish press have every right to make proud comment.
