  2. Was there a merger? Oh I so there was!!! I'd very nearly forgotten.
  3. Colombian or Nigerian
  4. Pepper has signed for Morton but I see no mention of Greenhalgh.
  5. Wasn't aware you were English Scarlet. As for your newbie teams.......Croatia managed to beat Cameroon and Bosnia won nothing. Not exactly showing anyone anything.
  6. With brazil now facing Chile in next round could they go out early? Statistics would say no (last 40 matches Chile won 4, 6 were drawn and Brazil won the rest) but I've been quite impressed with Chile this time.
  7. They are a girls youth club and, as is only fitting, their colours are red and b.......................................................................lack. Also their name is one letter shorter that the real Caley Thistle.
  8. Current???? the unpopularity has been around since 1979 when Thatcher became the dictator who experimented her policies in Scotland.
  9. Here, http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/scotland/scottish-politics/8495468/Scottish-Election-2011-results-map.html you'll find the political map of Scotland. Note the Northern Isles are Liberal but to answer your question I would very much doubt that they could break away. Western Isles are Nationalist as is most of the country.
  10. This article http://www.bigmouthstrikesagain.com/archives/5411 is worth a read on both sides. The below paragraphs say it all for me. September’s vote isn’t about which political party you prefer. It’s about how we keep the bastards honest. Those bastards might be SNP, or Labour, or Green, or Conservative. It doesn’t matter. We’re being asked to choose a system, not a party. One of the most dangerous ideas that’s gained currency – and it’s an idea that the No campaign is really pushing – is the idea that a Yes vote is a vote for the SNP. It isn’t. Independence could turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to Labour in Scotland, to the Greens, even to the Conservative party: a reborn Scottish Conservative party, one that has more in common with the long tradition of small-c conservatism than the UK party, could one day have more MPs than Scotland has pandas.
  11. Dont the U-20's usually contest the NoS Cup
  12. Keep it yourself. Everyones happy. Problem solved.
  13. Seriously though......stick it on ebay
  14. Quite a few but I am too polite to name them. Another suggestion would be to give it to one of the overseas fans who rarely if ever get a chance to watch games other than on TV or Internet links. Id much rather let somebody who has suffered for the cause claim the thing. That means lots of travel, not being retired, being anti-hughes etc lol Im a mere 500 miles away myself. I broke my foot for the cause in 05. travelled to Denmark. I was retired but I'm ok now. And I've never been an anti if my life. Does that work?
  15. Playing for which team? I think the answer to your question is in the statement Charles
  16. Thinking of making a couple of nights of it. Hotel ibis Bordesley Circus (5 mins from ground) £79 Double room B&B for two nights. Anyone else fancy it?
  17. I do believe you are wrong just found this http://www.formartineutd.com/players#!__players/daniel-park I do believe he is right
  18. Seen that on twitter but nothing official anywhere
  19. Reading the attached article it looks like,if funds could be made available, we could have a synthetic pitch in the future. Also interesting to note the club are in negotiations with back of shirt sponsor. http://www.inverness-courier.co.uk/Sport/Football/ICT-giving-serious-thought-to-artificial-surface-05062014.htm
  20. Sorry Laurence but you are the one having a go. You are the one instigating that we should support England. As a Scot and supporter of Scotland why should I then support any other nationality? . Well it didn't stop you changing your allegiance in season 94/95 did it Alex? As far as I can see you try and come over pro Scottish but there is an extremely thin line between that and anti English Dougal What allegiance was that Dougal? If its the Inverness one you're referring to then I didn't change any allegiance. Yes I went to Thistle games in 70's but then, apart from the odd Falkirk game in late 90's, I didn't watch anyone until 02/03 season when I started to come to Longman. I wasn't involved in any of the goings on of 93/94 so couldn't have changed allegiance there. Secondly I am far from anti English. Anti Westminster but not anti English. Many of my friends and colleagues over the years have been, and still are, English.
  21. Total agreement from me.
  22. Did he then fail to shore up the defence and, instead, relinquish that two goal lead?
  23. If Mr McGregor has money to burn on shirts and free buses to away games then so be it. Let him spend it. Why do we need to be compared to them anyway? We are the ones who've been top six last two seasons. They are the ones favourite for the drop.
  24. Sorry Laurence but you are the one having a go. You are the one instigating that we should support England. As a Scot and supporter of Scotland why should I then support any other nationality? I wish England well but having watched their last two friendlies I'm not so sure they'll even get to last eight. Does that make me a bigot? It's more bigot like to use any and every opportunity you can to try and put down those of us who are patriotic towards our own country whilst actually choosing to live in, and reap the benefits from, that same country.
