  1. For games ike Texas hold em where players pay an entrance fee and chips are used a gaming licence is all thats required. Any pub with a bandit will already have the licence.
  2. Of those still aive Meatloaf Of those now deceased Jim Morrison
  3. Charlie is manager of ICT. He is also a fan. He has a year to go on his current contract and doesn't want to talk about extensions just yet. Charlie knows what he has to do at the club but, being a fan, he is also man enough to know that if he does well he'll still have a job and if things go dont right he will walk away and will not seek compensation. Roscoe23, CC has kept us in the SPL for two seasons now. That is achievement in this league and if you think otherwise then your viewing the whole league through the eyes of the Glasgow twins. Ask Dundee, Dunfermline, Partick. They all went down with better managers and probably better players than we have.
  4. Same stats have Ritchie Hart as English
  5. They did. He can be seen directing traffic from time to time.
  6. If it was just the player that had to be considered then I would imagine a lot more woud come to Sneck Unfortunately there are usually families involved and moving to a new area is not always easy.
  7. Nothing will be confirmed till Setanta launch their schedule
  8. I believe alcohol will come back to football stadia eventually. Probably just beer in plastic tumblers. I also dont think it will be abused cos of having to queue for ages to get served. In Denmark they had the beer stall next to the hotdog stall. Order and pay for the beer, get the hotdogs then back and the beer is poured.
  9. Doc martin boots, dirty denims, leather jacket with cut off denim jacket, frequent visits to Romney marsh. Need any more clues
  10. Dont bet on the 3pm saturday. Apparently Setanata will be screening 3 live matches that weekend. None will be Celtic cos they are at home. Rangers can't play monday if they've a european on the wednesday. If edinburgh is on sunday we could be 12.30 saturday with new firm derby on monday night.
  11. Could be wrong here but I've a funny feeling that Inverness Medical still have a season of their contract to run.
  12. My only recollection of Scarborough is a big battle by the harbour and loads of screaming scooters
  13. Was Grazza a wine waiter perchance :003:
  14. On the subject of what is or isn't an excellent offer, one that could not be bettered by anyone outside OF. What hasn't been mentioned is the add ons to the offer. Things like bonuses, length of contract, extras for publicity work etc. Yes there are at least two Div 1 teams who probably match us in weekly wages, my guess is they are Dundee and St Johnston, but the overall package is not as good. If the weekly wage is the most important then it says to me that the player wants financial security without having to fight for a place and earn the extra's. In other words a steady decent income whether he plays or not. Look at the cars driven by some of our players, or the homes they own and tell me they're not paid a decent wage. As for the future of this club, unless we can get a hard core 5000 we will always be scrapping in the same area of the league and bringing players from the lower leagues. Some may call for lower prices at the gate but in all honesty I dont believe that'll make any difference. Too many folk in the highlands would rather drive by Inverness on their way to glasgow.
  15. If you have access to a big screen and projector then films and betting slips etc can be had here, along with instruction. RACENIGHT
  16. Charles, may I just correct your statement regarding a majority against independance. In the 1979 referendum the people of scotland who turned out to vote returned a count in favour of devolution by a result of 52% to 48% against. Under the recognised voting system of the time this would have resulted in a devolved parliament for Scotland but the government of the time and the then Secretary of State concocted a new rule, specifically for this referendum, whereby at least 40% of the eligible voters in the country had to vote yes. Unfortunately, due to what was a better than average turnout for any election only 33% could be attained. In order to achieve the required 40% something like 75% of the eligible electorate would have had to vote. A figure that has never been achieved before or since except for the 1950 general election where it was 80%
  17. Dont forget the players we've signed on professional contracts from the youth squads. They get paid too. But Sir C if you know of any of those solid players who, firstly, want to come to Inverness and, secondly, are prepared to take the wages we can afford then please get in touch with our Director.
  18. Soon there wont be oil revenues to argue about.
  19. Eleven goals for who.................
