  1. Very pleased with this appointment which also brings a bit of continuity - he knows the squad , what we have and what we need. Scott kellacher is still the assistant as far as I know.
  2. So sorry to hear this sad news. He was a young man! Shocking news. RIP Bronson
  3. I think Storey might be a decent option if he’s available for nothing. He showed real promise when he first came up here with us and clearly his moves after have not been good ones. I think he’s the type of player that needs to play , since he left us he’s pretty much been benched and never kicked on from there. Surely there are other decent forward options out there........
  4. Id say that is not a bad shout recognising the fact that Grant has only ever played for his local team up til now - since being a wee boy playing for the "Young blues" and going onto Captain Inverness Caledonian Thistle. Well done Grant!
  5. Id like to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate Terry , Maurice all the players and backroom staff for an amazing run this season which takes us to the position we are in at this moment = 9 points clear and 18 goals to the good. I know its not official yet , but lets be honest Dundee are not going to take the league championship off us now in thier remaining 3 games. Well done guys!!!! You've achieved something to be very proud of this season - its not very often the team thats been relegated makes it straight back up again. Congratulations ICT CHAMPIONS!!!! Sounds good eh?!
  6. I thot he was quite upbeat tonight and full of personality myself............ NOT! Where did they get that guy from?! :D
  7. We're reeling them in nice and slow! I like it :D :D :D :D
  8. Spoke to 2 Aberdeen fans after the game on saturday in Deanos and they were both adamant Blackie was definitely siging for Aberdeen in January............ Nice lads - bought me a pint to!
  9. Im not enjoying watching us play at home just now for obvious reasons. I want to boycott the home games just now , but id feel as though i would be turning my back on the lads and i dont want to do that. I support Caley Thistle NOT Craig Brewster But your right, its understandable why people arent going to the home games , my own ticket costs well over 300 quid a season and its not handy watching crap football week in week out. I left with about 40mins to go yesterday after the 2nd goal........ I was surprised at how few joined me for the miserable trapse back to the car!
  10. Ive never rated proctor evn in his early days at the club, hes a half decnt 2nd choice right back. I think brewsters got a wee fancy for him maself.............. After all he did take him to united and straight back to us. I do recall one of the first things Levein did when he took over at united was to drop him from the first team and farm out proctor on loan to Airdrie.........
  11. I walked out after the 2nd goal yesterday with 40 mins to go.............. I HAVE NEVER DONE THAT BEFORE! At the time we were STILL playing 4-5-1 at that point and there was no sign of a change....... When is the penny going to finally drop with Brewster or the board??? With regards to the corners yesterday, each time we won a corner Brewster actually tunrned his back and walked to the back of the technical area - thats not what a manager should be doing is it??? He should be barking orders and organising the team. And what worried me even more is that he did the same thing when we were defending corners.... Times up BREW - will you please do the decent thing and walk away!
  12. Thanks for the update CaleyD - Hopin we get more sooner rather than later...........
  13. Charlie left us after 3 straight defeats at the start of last season. Brewster took over and we lost at least the next 3 if not 4 straight games equaling a 6 or 7 straight SPL defeats. There is no way based on the facts that we can say Brewster took over and turned things around from Charlie......... That spell also equaled the record SPL defeats in a row which was previously held by Aberdeen at the time i think??? PS Just for the record i emailed my concerns into the club and copied them in to CaleyD last night. PPS CaleyD - How many of us have emailed mike smith - you have any idea yet?, would be interesting to know how many are putting thier money where thier mouths are?
  14. Its a straight YES for me - i dont even have to think about this question........ Hes had long enough , now its time for a chnage before its too late.
  15. Brewsters not soley to blame although he is a massive part of the problem , hes not the right man for the job and its high time he took reponsibility for the results on the park which he has never done. The board are not helping matters at all.............. AGAIN we find ourselves bumbling through contract negotiations with our top assets. Black and Cowie are available to talk to any club in a couple of weeks time and we are nowhere close to agreeing new deals. Too little far too late! These guys should of been signed up on 3-4 year deals before the end of last season. But oh no we only do 2 year deals when the guys have got 4-5 months left of thier current contract. I'll be shocked and stunned if Black and Cowie who are our 2 best players DONT sign precontracts with other clubs next month. Then of course the mystifying decision to let barry wilson go beggers belief - surely they could extend his contract by 4-5 months til the end of the season , thats not going to break the bank! Come the summer we'll have no midfield left , we already have no recognised/experienced strikers at the club due to last years complete clearout............. Then how on earth are we suppossed to attract players of wilson, black and cowies calibre up north with mickey mouse 2 year deals that the board have on the table
  16. Having read a couple of threads on here this morning i think its clear that the majority of our fans are unhappy just now at the way the club is being managed both on an off the park - i know im not happy and that im not the only one. Lets be honest only one other team apart from ourselves have lost at the Caledonian Stadium in the last calender year...... Thats not a record to be proud of. The team are a shambles on the park, stood off teams, defending, 4-5-1 at home, unable to keep possession, unable to pass acurately, unable to finsh the few chances we create...... Its not good Off the park attendances are dropping steadily, ive never heard so much frustration shouted towards the bench during home games - and i openly admit to being one who regularly shouts at the bench. I feel as many have stated on other threads that i dont want to attend whilst Brewster is still in charge, however i would feel as though i would be turning my back on the boys and i dont want to do that. I keep hoping that every time i go back things will have changed............ Things arent changing - teams are coming up to Inverness and know that they will surely leave with at least a point - they know exactly how we are going to play. Barry Wilson is now the latest player to be hung out to dry by a manager who clearly lacks any managerial skills and man management. We have no recognised striker , not even an experienced striker....... Wyness, Bayne, Niculae all gone over the summer. I understand the Niculae deal was a good bit of bussiness - but we desparately needed to hold on to Wyness and Bayne. Cowie and Black im sure will be singing pre contracts with other clubs in January and with Wilson out the door we will have no midfield............ There are worrying times ahead and i SERIOUSLY fear for our SPL status I didnt want Brewster back in the first place however i feel hes been giving enough time to try and turn things around - the management needs to be changed as it clearly isnt working. And i think we could do with a reshuffle at board level also before its too late - as the club is being steered towards the rocks with the wind behind us! US the fans need to stand up and voice our oppinions on a credible and official manner. Has anybody got any ideas as to how we can voice our oppions to the club - a petition or something....... other than voting with our feet and having to put up with more awful frustrating football and letting our prize assets go on a free. I dont want to turn this into a Brewster hate campaign as i respect the guy as a player but he doesnt have the managerial credentials we require and if we dont act together as fans we have got nobody to blame but ourselves. Lets stand up together and do something about it - Lets help ourselves! Any ideas???
  17. Wilson 7 - Legend Its a very sad day now that my all time favourite Caley player is to leave us shortly. Barry you still have alot to offer the club and US the FANS know it - you are a major part of where the club is today. Im gutted and it will be a tragedy the day you walk out of the Caledonian Stadium with your boots. However you can hold you head high and know that the majority of the hardcore fans are behind you and hold you close in our hearts. Wilson 7 - Will NEVER be forgotten :D :P :thumb04: :018: ;) :015:
  18. If only Brewster would resign................... The real problem ive got with him is he wont and hasnt ever taken any responsibilty for the teams poor results on the park - its always somebody elses fault :thumb04:
  19. Rooney is the only striker we have of any pedigree at the club just now - i too was p***ed off he didnt make the starting line up today. Im baffled really as Brewster was a fantastic striker in his day and id of thought he'd of seen a real talent in Rooney and start him more regularly. Hes got a clinical finish and can do it under pressure - he should be 1st choice. And i agree with previous post that suggested he'd be good along side Wyness. That would be a great partnership............... If only Brewster had managed Dennis' situation differently we coulda been on to a real winner there! However he went for Barrowman instead........
  20. Ok Barrowman had a shocker today, i think we've established that. I also have never been sure of his signing - 20 odd league goals last year in the second division doesnt equal an spl goal scorer. Wyness regularly scored 20+ goals a season in the first division and look how he was sent packing last season after shocking treatment. Todays toothless performance was more to do with the 4-5-1 nonsense that we played up til half an hour to go. We have no experienced strikers at the club just now and certainly none that can handle 4-5-1 at home when we should be making the effort to go for it. And Barrowman cant hold himself up against a defence - never mind the ball! Rooney is the only striker at the club who provides a real threat in front of goal and i was mystified that he spent the first hour today on the bench! Withinn 10 mins of his introduction today the ball was in the back of the net..... Id say Barrowman may well be ok playing alongside Rooney in 4-4-2.........
  21. Brewsters treatment of Wyness was shocking - he should still be here and our no. 1 Striker. Rankin leaving - again Brewsters mismanagement of a player who'd still be here if it wasnt for Brew telling the press "he can go in January for the right price"........ Parky leaving - due to personal reasons.... Bayne - ok not the best striker in the world but could still be doing a better job than the VERY inexperienced strikers we have just now , NONE of which have any SPL experience / calibre - mismanagement again...... The team cant pass, keep the ball , they sit off teams too often and sit too deep under Mr Brewster. Some of the substitutions baffle me and im tired of taking the lead in games and end up losing them. And the cherry on the top for me is BREWSTERS RECORD AT DUNDEE UNITED = why was he ever given a 2nd chance at this club..............? I was never for his re-appointment. Hes had long enough to prove that hes NOT the man for the job - Please step aside Brewster
  22. I only wish Brewster was finished. There is something far wrong with us just now - Caley are not a team that usually get turned over like that - OK i accept everybody gets humped once in a while and we are no different. However we have always been up for the old firm and we should of taken something off Celtic a couple of weeks ago but today was 5-0 going on 10............ last 5 games = 5 straight defeats , how much longer is Brewster going to get?? ( Managers have been sacked with better results ) He is systematically destroying the team. And there is no sign of improvement - and i can only see relegation under the guidance of Brewster im afraid. Ive been saying it since the day he was re-instated. Now im sure Ralph will be gunning for me again - but thats my opinion. Brewster needs to go now and give us the chance to lick our wounds turn our season around and concentrate on survival. We're in serious trouble at the moment.....
  23. Make something up - Get a rumour started its good for a laugh. Something like.......... Fatboy Slim was reported to have said that he followed Caley Thistles results closely since his first Rock Ness appearance 2 years ago:015:
  24. 1 Celtic 2 Rangers 3 Dundee Utd 4 Motherwell 5 Hibs 6 Hearts 7 Aberdeen 8 Falkirk 9 Hamilton 10 Kilmarnock 11 Inverness CT 12 St Mirren
  25. Absolutely 100% behind Munro as Captain :021:
