Always a worry for me when we take on a youngster from another team - a slap in the face for our own young players as someone jumps the queue on then, so to speak. Is there really that much difference in ability / skill at thisstage on their careers? We'll have a moan next season about our own youths are inexperienced, whilst we've been bringing players in to ensure we don't have to play them.

If their manager spends his time on fans forums, we shouldn't have any fears at all.

One game at a time, maybe a slight shuffle of the pack for Tuesday, but the level of performance needs to stay the same. Get the result we want and no fresh injury worries.

Just wish Dave Carson wouldn't be so outstanding so often, too many appearances in the team of the week will bring unwanted attention!

Alloa still play attractive passing football at times, but Dundee have dispatched them like the bottom of the table part time team that they are. We should look to do the same with Arbroath.

We have to keep our wits about us to get the breakthrough here. Patience and finding the right ball is key. Raith can cause problems if they get their counter attack right so we can't get away with any slackness.

Balance that benefits of a cup run against having a patchwork team, some of whom can't train properly due to injury/fatigue...are the cup games played to a finish on the night?

No confidence in defending set plays, not winning first balls and it's a 50/50 for the second. We've gifted opportunities and they've not been taken.

It's all good and well players being 'honest' regarding performances, but I'd rather they just knuckled down and trained even harder to eradicate some of the basic mistakes which they are making.
