It is noticeable that, certainly at home, most teams can get from their box into ours with only 3 or 4 passes. Often we can make upwards of 20 passes and not get into their box.

Thought this was in reference to Aaron Dorans crazy challenge in the final chapter of yesterdays farce...looked like he wasnt going to carry on but with no more subs he soldiered on. He'll be a bit sore today.

We gave Alloa two of their best chances , one in each half with defensive cockup and a misplaced pass. The worst thing you can do to a team like that is gift them the first goal. Been disappointed with McGregor the last few times he has come on, but it proves you can't develop a player by benching him....he should've gone out on loan with the rest. Welsh is a cut above , brought a calm head to the headless chickens when he came on... injuries aside get him contracted up before he joins his good mate coll overthebridge. Almost happy at a point against relegation fodder, at home. Tough times.

There are still some 'pains' left...but whatever remains of the shabby window it is now closed. End of.

That a another reason for players moving to county - they can increase their wage, play in the top league and they don't even have to move out of Inverness.

The wages don't have to be massive, but if you want a player to relocate up north they will look for a bit extra to cover the expense.

That chart will look even more appealing next year when all the Dundee United players aren't on it...and therein lies the major flaw in the chart - it's the also rans, the nearly made it's, etc. All the teams of the past 3 years with the best goalscorers don't show up on it because they won the league. Even the fact that shankland & Dobbie have been scoring regulars they weren't the top scorers in their respective years (until now). So if you were to build a more complete picture, including the title winners of the last x number of years you would paint a picture that doesn't really need to be painted because we can see week in week out where our strengths & weaknesses are.

Seen recently that fouls on keepers given and not given is completely random, and that's with VAR, but historically keepers have tended to benefit from extra protection. Ref has to call it how he sees, and usually he has the best viewpoint.

He has 7 from 22 games in all competitions this season, according to the stats on here. Doran is top of our scorers with 8.

You can't always rely on the ref giving soft decisions...take chances when they come along.

We did the job for them, did you see the goal? Shambolic stuff. Without a cockup of that magnitude I don't think either team looked likely to find the back of the net.

He's been on the bench for the last two games anyway, so I suppose Robertson is keeping him as cover ( he's usually the first player that JR digs out anyway ☺). If saints had deeper pockets he would be gone.
