  1. Well that feels like a win!! What a poor poor 1st half, Donaldson was the best player by far and that says a lot. As soon as Trafford went off we started playing football, he was god awful!!!! Ridgers was Poir for the 2nd goal and queens well deserved to be 3-0 up. Great resilience from the boys and hopefully that can inspire the team. Trafford needs to be dropped though!!!
  2. In light of the QoS game on Saturday, Does anyone know what the teams record is when playing on plastic pitches? Off the top of my head I think it's fairly good but does anyone know for sure?

    Sound! Thanks
  4. Well this news has somewhat divided people with what the club should do. I think we can all agree that Calders actions are inexcusable and need to be punished accordingly. I am a firm believer of the innocent until proven guilty mindset so I am glad the club continued playing him until there was a firm verdict. However, a guilty verdict is damning and think the club has made the correct decision to let him go, there was no other choice! There is no excuse for his actions but people can change and hopefully Calder receives help to change whatever his punishment may be. He is only young and deserves a 2nd chance but must be punished for his outrageous actions 1st!

Does anyone know of a pub in Dumfries where ICT fans are welcome and gathering before the game on the 17th November?

I am struggling to work out if all these drawn games are a good thing or not. One the one hand we are still unbeaten and are conceding very few goals (only 2 in the last 5 games) but on the other there are games we really should have won and teams we should be beating without to much trouble. A point is better than no points but if we had only converted 2 of those draws to wins, we would be 3rd and a potential a win away from top. We are clearly struggling to score so I seriously think we throw in a few youngsters for the next game.

I think this kind of abhorrent abuse must not be tolerated in any way - life bans for the lot of them - Disgusting !!!!!!!!
  8. Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the morons in the home end! Those involved are not supporters but mindless idiots who don't seem to realise that if a player misses a penalty he most likely needs a pick-me-up and not a torrent of abuse aimed at his family. Utter pillocks whom I hope never set foot inside caley Park again! Disgraceful!!!!

That was a poor poor result, it's never nice to get a 5-0 drubbing even if it is to a team in a higher league. We certainly had our chances to score in the game and in the 1st 25 minutes it was anyone's. Some class goals from hearts but our defending from crosses was dreadful. No team in our league has close to the quality hearts do so I am fully expecting a comfortable top 4 finish this season. Bring it on!!!
  10. How much would it cost to get his name on the back of your shirt ?

Not too bothered to see jake go, he hasn’t done a himuge amount in his time with the club so no loss there. Vigurs will be badly missed though! Clearly our best player throughout the season and very disappointed he is going, especially to county. No doubt he was offered more money and money talks! It would be poetic justice if we go up and county don’t next season.
  12. Just been watching the highlights of the match and the bad tackle on Warren in the 1st half. As clear a red card as I’ve seen in a while, ref got that wrong!
  13. Were we watching the same match? I agree that in the 2nd half he was better and looked to go forward more. He was fairly solid in his defensive duties but Dumbarton were hardly testing the back line apart from the 1st 20/25 mins. His passing in the first half was drivil, when he did get the ball he went sideways or lost it. His movement was slow and looked disinterested. Living in Yorkshire I don’t get to many games but my old man is a season ticket holder and he said it was the one of the poorest performances from Donaldson he had seen all season. We both looked at each other in shock when the MOTM announcement was made.
  14. First of all what a great result! To win a cup, whatever cup it may be is still an achievement so I am very proud of the team. the match itself was hardly a classic. First half was dreadful from us with their keeper only making two saves from weak shots straight at himlate on. Dumbarton started well and defiantly had the better chances. The second half we were far and away the better team and when Dorran and mackay came on we look very dangerous. Mackay is a right gem!! It frustrates me no end that it took us so long to start looking dangerous in the final third we were lacking that cutting edge. Mulraney and chambers were invisible the entire game and how the hell was dolandson the MOTM!! His passing in the 1st half was awful as he looked lazy and that didn’t look to want the ball. Oakley gave 100% but lacks the quality to turn players and his touch let him down. Vigurs should never be allowed near a penalty again. I knew we would miss it the moment it was awarded. It is no wonder we are where we are in the league but there are signs of promise.
  15. Well for the “diddy” cup final I’d be happy with 3000 which would be more than went the last time we were in the final against Dundee
  16. I had no idea Stuart Armstrong was with us as a youth player! Dropped the ball there

I think if we continue to play like we did in the first half against dundee United then we should be comfortably safe. Top four is a stretch now but still not impossible, if we win our games in hand then you never know.
  18. Anyone know what number of tickets have been sold now?
  19. As many as that ?
  20. Anyone know how ticket sales are doing?
  21. Sounds like a plan. Count me and the old man in
  22. I see that he was released by Dundee last month and with our squad a bit thin on the ground does anyone think he would be a useful re-sign?

Robbo was never the man for the job. I feel for him as he is a top bloke but he is not the man we need at the helm. I have always been a fan of Hartley and I think he could be the man to inject some passion back into the side as it has been lacking ever since we won the cup.
  24. Really sad to see him go for the 2nd time. He has been a fantastic player over the years for the club and i wish him well. Having said that i think he will struggle to make the starting 11 at aberdeen. They have a very good midfield and also have a better depth to the squad than we do, He will no where near get as much game time at aberdeen
  25. It has been a while since I have posted but enough is enough! I was very happy to see we had sign Billy back on loan and was really hoping for an impact tonight. Losing 3-0 to Hamilton is a disgrace. The players need to take a long hard look at themselves because we are staring relegation in the face. Something needs to change and NOW!!!!
