Well I am travelling up from Yorkshire for the game and can cancel the accommodation by 3pm on Friday so fingers cross we know by then
  2. I am only 1 person with a very limited reach of social media but I've tweeted/messaged various people/radio stations to see if they are going to talk about the plight of ICT and give the go fund me page some coverage. If others can do that as well it can only help our cause. I doubt anyone on the board are trying to spread word far and wide to all the media outlets to get word out there so I fear it's down to us fans to spread the word
  3. What I find totally baffling is the go fund me page isn't even available! If the club is in such dire financial struggles then you would think that this crowd funding site would have been up and running when the statement was release but unsurprisingly it's nowhere to be seen.

Love the kit, badge is great(as a one off). I will certainly be buying it
  5. This deal has red flags left, right and centre! It sounds like a total sham. I can only see 1 of 3 things with this deal. 1. Mr Makwana has duped the board with his patter and vision and they have fallen hook line and sinker for it. 2. The board just want to pass the buck to anyone who is willing to take the club on, regardless of due diligence and whether he is a fit and proper person. 3. Makwana has some secret millions somewhere to buy the majority shareholding and invest I hope it's the 3rd option but this bloke wouldn't look out of place on watchdog!
  6. I am absolutely stunned and staggered that, with less than a week before the first pre season friendly, we have still heard nothing! Do we have a squad to play games? Have we got investment? When is Gardner going? Are we going into admin? The silence is deafening and it's only getting loader - totally shambolic from the club!
  7. I have been an ICT fan since I was 7 (now 37) and I use to love being able to bump into the players in the town, down the shops (Paul Sheerin lived round the corner from me) and used to feel like I was in the presence of a celeb. Young fans now are not going to have that joy that I did and that sadden me. Having the players come round your school, take a training session of your school team was just amazing. What angered me the most with this statement was that the board were "delighted" to rip the heart and soul of OUR club and move it to Fife. They say that Inverness will always be our home - at least every other Saturday anyway. This could be the beginning of the end of my beloved ICT
  8. Can't quite believe we didn't win that game let alone get a point. Macallister needs to start the remaining games as he was good when he got on. If Lawal doesn't play another game I'd be happy, he was dreadful. Playing like that we can win at least 2 of the last 3 games at least so I think we will be safe
  9. Finally made it back to Yorkshire after a weekend in edinburgh and taking in my 1st ICT game of the season. Strange line up with Carson and Harper playing further up the park but it seemed to work and both played well. First half I thought we started a bit slow and looked a bit shaky but started to play better as the half went on. Ridgers save was top draw to keep the game at 0-0. Did anyone see what happened with Carson just before HT to get booked? Off the ball incident but I didn't see what happened. 2nd half we were far the better team and deserved all 3 points. Danny Mackay was brilliant and caused RR loads of problems, it's amazing what you can achieved when you play to your strengths and run at defenders. We really do play better with the ball at feet then playing hoofball up to a target man. Our defence was solid and I love to see the same line up in the next game. On a sour note, I appreciate that at football games you are going to hear fans shouting a swearing at bad decisions, bad fouls and generally giving the opposition a bit of stick, However, there was one caley fan in particular who should be absolutely ashamed of himself. The abuse and language coming out of his mouth was nothing short of disgusting! If I was at that game with my niece or nephew I would have left, totally unacceptable and for me, defiantly put a downer on a great result.
  10. I've just bought mine and said it was ticket 8948, would be amazing to break 10k
  11. We have quite a few attacking options but none of them that convince me that they are going to get 15-20 goals a season. The defence has been worked on and hopefully that will help leaking goals. I do feel we lack a creative midfield player that can take the game by the scruff of the neck and make things happen which is a worry for me. I am also not convinced we have a stand out captain to be a real leader on the pitch. I assume the captain will be Doran as he was vice to Tremarco but I am not convinced that he is right person for the job.
  12. I am quite happy to see Devine back at the club. He was fairly reliable and a good stand in for Meetings or Warren when in the SPL so I am more than confident that he can sure up the defence in the championship.
  13. Doofer replied to Robert's topic in Caley Thistle
I have never been very impressed with Miles when he plays out wide. He has the occasional moment of class but far too infrequently. However, Robbo prefers to play a hold up player up top like Toddy or White last season so I think he will continue to do so which means Miles will struggle to get goals
  14. Disappointing not to win or at least a bonus point given how pre season has gone with some good results against higher ranked teams. Peterhead are no mugs though and could do well this season
  15. ?? this is a joke right?
  16. I am so confused at how people don't think that Liam's tackle is not a red. His studs are at 90 degrees and 3 foot off the deck and he makes contact with his head. It's not malicious and no intent but it's dangerous and therefore a straight red - we can have no complaints
  17. Having just watched the goals from yesterday's game I am very surprised the crowd was listed as 2323 as it looked a good bit more than that!
  18. Do away goals count? I don't think they do but anyone know for sure?
  19. It was always going to be a struggle against a top 6 SPL side and the difference in quality really showed. Hearts were more determined, more penetrating, more dynamic and always 1st to the 2nd ball. Our defending from set plays was dreadful and that's what cost us. Maybe would have been better with Donaldson playing but who knows. If we manage to get promoted then plenty of investment would be needed to stay up. And why oh why does robbo continue to bring on Austin? he was rubbish against county and he was rubbish today
  20. What channel is the game being shown on?
  21. Well that was disappointing. I feel we deserved a point from that game, however there was a few things to point out. 1. Whites pen was poor - you could see where he was going to place it as he started his run up and fox clearly knew it too. The build up play however was tremendous. More play like that and we will score 3/4 a game. 2. Trafford's 2 yellows were worthy of 2 yellows but how the ref missed drapers foul on polworth 5 seconds before when he was looking straight at it is beyond me.Trafford can feel a tad unfortunate. 3. Why did Robbo take Walsh off? He was creating space and chances in the second half and if we were to get a leveller I am sure he would have been involved - Austin was as poor as poor can be, I was not impressed. 4. Why is Robbo refusing to give the youngsters a go? The will be hungry to show what they can do and will undoubtably give 110%
  22. Doofer replied to Fraz's topic in Caley Thistle
Robbo did say at the AGM that the pitch at the rugby club was spot on and great to train on. No risk to injury prone players either like Doran so that is a plus. He did also say that he would take a good quality grass pitch any day as I think most players and fans would. The problem the club has is our pitch is dreadful due to the under soil heating but a 4g pitchbis very expensive. I'd go grass over plastic
  23. Terrific performance today and a fully deserved win. Chambers was excellent and his goal was superb. Their penalty was very very soft and can fully understand the players reaction. Austin was onside and the goal should have stood. His arm was offside but you can't score with that so therefore he was onside. Doran was great today and he fully deserved to get the winner. I don't get to many games these days and the last game I was at was the 3-3 away at QoS where Trafford was so horrendous i wouldn't have been sad to see him leave in January but he was superb today and my shout for MOTM. I may have misheard the commentators but i am sure they said there was over 1000 caley fans today. If that's the case then that's a great travelling support
  24. There are too many to pick from - the Cup has been fairly good to us. The night we went ballistic and celtic were atrocious springs to mind but I loved the Dundee Utd reply at home in the 4th round in 98 when we were 2 down with minutes left and still took it to extra time. We my have lost but the atmosphere was electric that day. Great memory
  25. He was due to be sentenced today, does anyone know the outcome? I've had a look but can't find anything
