  1. I have already said, it was a **** take out of the idea that what Big Jock Knew was not that there was Child abuse issues at Parkhead but that we beat Celtic 3-2. Therefore there was nothing insulting about that banner. I was extremely disappointed with the sectarian singing, and will have to reconsider going to Section G in future, but I think that the PC Brigade are going over the top with this, and can't see why anyone in there right mind would find what the boys did insulting. Cue a barrage of abuse from you towards my character DC, but that is how I feel on the matter. RiG, see about halfway down the page. Daily Record Edited to say, I have not been to Section G before, and was not involved with any of this.
  2. People choose to enjoy football whatever way they please. Some people prefer only going to the odd game and checking the score at 6 o'clock on a Saturday evening, others prefer to go to as many games as they can and keep up to date with the club's news on a daily basis. Football is to be enjoyed, no more no less, and as much as I personally would prefer it to be a full house every week, It's not my place to tell people how they should follow football.
  3. How would jock Stein have known ICT beat Celtic 3-2? Whooooooooosh
  4. But they didnt have a BJK banner. See above.
  5. I thought the sectarian singing was a particulary stupid thing to do, but I don't see the problem with ""Big Jock Knew We Won 3-2. Its taking the **** out of both the Rangers fans and the Celtic fans and is referring to the idea that Jock Stein knew that we beat Celtic 3-2, nothing to do with allegations of child abuse etc. I thought it was quite funny.
  6. This a sweeping generalisation, and I'm sure theres lots of decent folks follow these two, but the fact is that these days I don't expect anything different from the fans of both these clubs.
  7. Imrie let Naylor run past him. He never tracked back to help out his right back. Hart has been fantastic for County this season apparently. To be honest, think he's found his level in the first. Brought something different to the team (1-1 at Ibrox) but was to inconsistent to really make an impact in the SPL.
  8. I'll take yis all
  9. Where was the flag put up? Mike Smith's arse hopefully
  10. I actually thought today was the first time we really missed Niculae, his first touch, ability on the turn and composure in the box were what was missing up-front for us today, to many times Wood, then Rooney later on panicked the moment they got on the ball and quickly tried to get rid of it again.
  11. Oh come on Scotty, I understand you guys wanting to keep the poll fair, but surely watching the game for the full 90 minutes with detailed analysis and replays should be enough for you to make a rounded decision on how well a player has preformed.
  12. Should he impress and we decide to sign, can he play before January?
  13. Steven Fletcher for a start, who could be a very talented football player, but won't be because "Real Madrid" has gone to his head. Just back from the game. The papers tomorrow will blame Iwelumo and Burley. To be honest, that's pretty much fair enough. I liked the look of Iwelumo when he came on, and unlike most idiots, think that he his definately good enough to play for Scotland (I don't remember people saying McFadden should not play for Scotland again after he missed an open goal against Italy) but it was a horrific miss. McFadden should not have started. It should have been Iwelumo as the central figure with Boyd picking up his scraps so to speak. Robson, Brown, Gordon and suprisingly enough Broadfoot and Naysmith all did enough to get pass marks from me, particularly Brown, who has come in for a lot of stick in the last few months after a dip in form. What a lot of people don't know is that Brown's dip in form coinsided with the loss of his younger sister to cancer. Weir was horrific, Carew tore him a new ********. Panicked off the ball, clueless of it. All is not lost, most people seem to think Norway deserved somthing from the game, but in the second half in particular it was one way traffic, with their form of "counter attacking" being to clear it out of defence to anywhere in the pitch (Grant Munro style) and hope that Carew would be there to pick it up. It could be argued that our four most important outfield players were missing today, and we will definately have to much for Iceland and Macedonia at home. The big tests are Norway away and Holland at home, think we need at least 2 points from those games to stand a chance. Keep believing, as things stand right now, were still in a qualifying position
  14. Cor blimey.....deemed world class after half a dozen or so games. Theres hope for McAllister then. Mind you....not that long ago...he was deemed surplus to requirements by the same support. As greavsie used to say "its a funny old game" And players can't develop then? And no, they have been saying this for almost two years now, ever since Fletcher made Totti and co look very average. I'm pretty sure Darren Dods was surplus to requirements at St. Johnstone for a while. Heck Deco was surplus to requirements at Barca. He's not done badly at Chelsea...
  15. I presume you mean the same Darren Fletcher that has this year been called "worldclass" and "best preformer of the season" by Manchester United fans. An excellent player, makes football look easy. Has struggled recently for Scotland I'll admit, but has had an excellent start to the season for United.

    Ian Black

Long way off. I have said on previous threads that he is talented enough, but doesn't have the consitency. Ferguson, Hartley, Brown, Fletcher, Stewart and Arfield are all ahead of him at the moment. i still think he's a little off even being considered for a scotland call up, however, i would say Black is far ahead of Arfield...iain vigurs is already better than Arfield. As talented as I think Black is, have you seen Arfield. The boy is special. i just think Arfield is average, nothing great...just a good average scottish player. Arfield will be Scotland's most creative player within five years. Black is an excellent player, but offers virtually nothing going forward with the exception of the odd pop at goal. well i do agree with the lack of forward play from black but i think he plays a diiferent role from Arfield, but now anyway i think Black is a better player, i was at the away game to falkirk and black was controlling that midfield. as everyone will gather by now i am a maasive fan of vigurs and think he has more potential than arfield so i dont think arfield will be scotlands most creative player within five years. i seen vigurs rip apart arfield in every reserve game they played against each other. Do either Vigurs or Black have any under 21 caps? Has Alex Ferguson had Vigurs or Black watched? all im saying is when thse players have come up against each other Arfield has come up second best in my opinion. this is my opinion, i think black is better than Arfield and i think Vigurs is technically one of the best players i've seen in the spl and when he has had as much games as Arfield he'll be better. your not going to change my view. im not asking you to change yours i respect your opinion but we're just two different ppl with different views, thats all. :thumb04: Fair doos. But arfields better :018:

  19. After telling them not to bother and that they would embaress themselves. Indeed. You really should read whats been posted. I said it would be embarassing if only a few turned up with flags after publicly announcing a "display". I'm all for big banners like the ones the Red Ultras have for example. I read what you posted. You told them not to bother and that they would embaress themselves. And the Red Ultras very rarely have more than 4 or 5 flags at games.
