Cowie Reluctant To Commit To ICT
You can never blame any player, generally, for wishing to further their career and no good club should ever stand in anyone's way. We have never been an exception to that rule, in my opinion. Don Cowie, as Rig has correctly stated will be as committed to the cause as much as anyone. Football is such an oddball emotive "business" to be in, fans can be unfairly sensitive or critical towards players who manage, for whatever reason, to end up in the press for transfer/ contract talk. Keep up the good work Don!

Yep and Little Feat were brilliant. Now lets just sign a centre half and we'll all be happy!

Hamilton Game 16th August.
Correct the SPL are to blame for everything, hasn't taken you long in the SPL to work that out either, good stuff! (If my sources are correct, I think they are responsible for high petrol prices and the reason we are still in Afghanistan too)

I think Marius has all the qualities required to become a football agent.....

Bob Crampsey RIP
And a keen cricketer too

merged: Adam Rooney
Lets just score more goals than we concede and we'll be just fine I'd settle for a 4-3 every home game, or even 7-6 (to us that is!)

Manager under scrutiny
He missed out the important bit!! Now back to the thread. Mr Absent you make a great point about goalies throwing the ball out. In Mark Browns day he used to drive me bonkers hoilding on to the ball until all the players on the pitch had clicked back into their positions. I think Mickie may have learnt a bad habit here, but he's not as bad. Also defenders/midfielders should be looking for the ball so goalies are not entirely to blame. However, the day Zibi played a full game his throwing out of the ball was perfection and a breath of fresh air. I recall Schmecial playing for Man Utd used to ping the ball onto the wingers toe on the half way line and it was superb to watch and very effective.

Niculaes future to be decided today.....
The important point being missed here is you can't have a good hi fi unless you have the right quality cables and connectors

What would you do if you were in complete control of ICT?
I would sort out the half time catering arrangements before I did anything on the pitch

Need a defender!
I think garbage is a bit strong TCF but you're on the right lines Since I am such a polite chap I'll say inedaquate, which is probably quite accurate.

Icts Great Unanswered Questions
Why have the club never "improved" the short cut through the bushes across the home car park?? My route in and out of the ground at every visit, along with many others.

Season Ticket Renewals - calls from the club?
I will be getting my two today, I so I am one of the guilty parties. I had a reminder through the door but no phone call, could be seen as a nice personal touch receving a call, but unfortunately not the real reason for it.

Andy Barrowman
well I'd better go and get my seasons ticket then....
-
Andy Barrowman
Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the fact that he is still available not tell you something?!
-
Andy Barrowman
I think there's a fair chance he'll sign for us if he's not had an offer by the night before the Aberdeen game.....

Brewster in Salzburg
There's some people out there have obtained a higher english for less than that Scotty!

Brewster in Salzburg
It's seems quite clear to me that our manager will be judged entirely on the coming season and I inlcude myself in the judging panel. I am aware of stating the obvious but he has a season to convince everyone he is the man for the job, or not. Let's just wait and see what he can come up with and get behind him and our team.

Are We Going To Have A Single Experienced Forward Next Season ?
Excellent post KM, I agree 100%

Andy Barrowman
I agree somewhat with what Birdog says. Although we do not know what is really happening behind the scenes Mr. Barrowman is clearly stalling or holding out and who can blame him? Whether we should be playing his game is another question, as it is making us look like amateurs. My earlier point on this subject is that even if we sign him, I still think we need to sign another striker. In my opinion, signing him alone will be a gamble.

P&J today...
Assuming we sign Barrowman and he scores half as many goals in the SPL as he did last season in Div 2, which I think would be a very good return in his first season, we will still need another one striker at least?

Priorities, Targets, Hopes and Expectations
A bit tongue in cheek but here's mine, Priorities:- Sign a recognised goal scorer and Vidic to sort the defense out Target:- The thing with the white posts and bar Hope:- We play some forward passes this year rather than sideways and backwards, as the general preferred option. Expectations:- All of the above

RIP Tommy Burns
Indeed And a fine footballer in his day too. One memory I have of him and I think he was playing for Killie at the time, I'm sure someone will know, he was one on one with the goalie and lobbed him beautifully, only to see the ball bounce over the bar off the hard summer pitch!!!

Celtic or Rangers
Hate is a word you will not find in my vocabulary However, I must be honest and say that I have never been a Rangers fan But....as they are Scottish and in a Euro final they will be getting my full support, although I cannot see me throwing items at my TV should the opposition score.
