  1. There was no physio in our dug out tonight it’s absolutely ridiculous.
  2. Big Dunc’s tactics are so frustrating to watch and in my opinion obviously don’t work. I lost count how many times our midfield or forwards lost the ball tonight deep in our own half, either trying to over play or pass backwards. We are so predictable and easy to play against. The alarming thing I noticed tonight was the lack of encouragement/guidance coming from the dug out. Surely the players can’t be enjoying Dunc Ball.
  3. Let’s get behind the lads today.
  4. Wow that is very worrying.
  5. Yea started with 5 then reverted to a back 4 in the second half
  6. The team moved the ball better at times tonight but still frustrating to watch us overplay on the edge of the box, then get hit on the counter attack. I think our defensive options are good but we need to strengthen the midfield and attacking options and a backup GK is a must. Macloed showed up well at times but he and Nixon got caught out for the goal. Bray was very quiet again and didn’t really get into the game. Brooks and Longataff were wasteful in front of goal and Billy showed what’s he is capable off when he is in the box. Walker lead the young team through the second half and Cairns and McKay looked promising. I think we really need to get behind this team as fans and back these promising young players. It’s going to be a roller coaster season.
  7. Nairn county have posted more information about some of our young players than we have
  8. Any news on potential new investors? It’s wonderful that Savage is funding the youth academy but if we don’t have a first team I can’t see how the youth academy is relevant.
  9. Surely that’s the u18s
  10. Oh well I take it Big Dunc is sticking to his guns
  11. Looks like Ferguson isn’t going to change the style of play, sadly! Good to see so many young lads involved for the club. I thought Savage + Walker were very good and Ethan Cairns + Calum Mackay looked lovely when they came on. I never seen enough of Cameron Ferguson to make a judgment but he looked very unfit. All in all a good workout.
  12. My understanding is that if the club offered the lads new contracts and they still wanted to leave then a development fee is triggered due to being u24. If these lads left for nothing then it’s another embarrassing situation
  13. I sadly can’t disagree with this comment. The situation at the club is so embarrassing. I want to support and back the club but finding it extremely difficult to do so.
  14. We’ve just got to hope that Big Dunc has realised that his tactics + game plan didn’t work and we see a change in style for league 1. We really have to be more ruthless and direct at times.
  15. Im hearing that the players along with Ferguson and Ferguson jnr are currently at Fort George. Is anyone able to confirm it?
  16. It is very concerning and I expect uncertain times ahead. I refuse to purchase a season ticket until the club issues a statement regarding the future, but I did pre order 2 strips for the grandkids.
  17. From what I’ve seen Bray, Walker, Thompson and Cairns are all very good young players who will thrive with the right players around them.
  18. I cycled past Fort George on Saturday and Nairn County were training there. Is this a new club affiliate or just doing Tokely a favour??
  19. It’s astonishing to think that we’ve not heard from our manager since the build up to the Hamilton game in the second leg. WTF is going on
  20. Im sat on the fence regarding the strip but have purchased two for the grandkids
  21. Gk? Davidson Walker Devine Strachan Thompson Gilmour Macleod Bray Mackay Longstaff If we have a team next season this is how we could look using the talented youngsters I’ve seen play. Assuming these players are still under contract
  22. I’ve been thinking the same. I’ve joined the Trust + also made a small donation but I worry it’s all in vain? We’ve had no further information from the club so how can we do anything that has a positive impact on the club. I feel for all the players and staff who probably know nothing.
  23. I bet the remaining signed players and youth players are finding out information via social media. It’s brutal!
  24. The fact that a rich man like Duncan Ferguson who failed at the club and hasn’t walked away especially knowing the cash flow problems at the club tells us all the kind of person he is.
  25. The club is on its knees and surely administration is likely. If The club survives surely it’s now time to start playing the local talent with a core of good experienced players around them and let us the fans get behind them. Surely Duncan Ferguson does the right thing and walks. Hopefully the club can get a feel good factor back and engage with the fan base. As soon as Gardiner leaves I’ll be buying a season ticket.
