  1. Through choice though. The fans at his club are disappointed he didn't sign a contract but they were wishing him all the best.
  2. Well done getting Ross Savage and Ross Chalmers. Just need some support for Billy. Do you think Ross McCormack would be interested?
  3. We needed a result after Greece and we got one. A terrible result, but a result nevertheless. There's a window of opportunity but early doors, I think we can see the light at the end of the carrot. After all, if you don't believe you can win, there's no point getting out of bed at the end of the day.
  4. Calm down. No need to act like a bowl in a China shop. Noone is making you the escape goat. Anyway, I thought it was "the proof was in the pudding" from the gecko.
  5. Not necessarily. He's played about 2/3rds of a season. He's still to prove himself long term. The idea that he'll be first choice for English or Scottish premier teams is unlikely, and I would not be surprised if a larger Championship team would view a player in his first pro season, who had injury problems, as a bit too risky to hang their hat on. If it's a promotion chasing Division One Cove Rangers or relegation threatened Championship such as Dunfermline, then staying and developing with a familiar team is probably best. He may well end up being a second choice keeper for a team, not getting games and going backward.
  6. No red ink and all in capitals from chapter 5 onwards
  7. They may not be in the SPFL Trust Trophy but you can never write Liverpool off.
  8. "If we get a 15-point deduction, we are not going to be able to stay in the division unless we probably win every game and every other teams loses every game. "It would be a nearly impossible task. One we would try to overcome and win games, but if administrator comes in and cuts the squad, which I think he would do, it would really be a tough ask. "The 15-point deduction would more than certainly relegate us."
  9. He would probably point out that the new manager is still in pretty much the same position as he was, negating to mention this is only due to a 15 point penalty.
  10. Depends how admin works out. Let's assume it goes well. We've currently got a small squad, full-time, that's garnered (excluding penalty) enough points to be comfortably in the playoffs. I'm not sure there's many moving to the Championship and part-time probably doesn't appeal. So that leaves Cove and QoS, assuming one of them doesn't get promoted, and presumably Airdrie. Many of those will have a settled squad, so how many of ours will they need, and will they have significantly more money after we solve our financial problems? I can certainly see a turnover but with an enhanced squad and no admin, I see ICT as a desirable place for many footballers. Can't see us losing many to Montrose or Stenny. I think we might be getting players from them.
  11. Yeah, although, we've a threadbare inexperienced squad. With a fuller squad, we were second bottom before the 15 points. Without the penalty, we would be easily in the promotion playoffs. We've been pushing for goals but not managing to score. People have been saying we should be more cautious. They tried but we just don't have enough players to just tinker. Mckay can't score and there is no other strikers. We could try centre backs and wingers. Probably will need to but that's not a real solution. Personally, I feel we should just go back to previous. Yes, we couldn't score but as long as we create chances, we still have a route to 3 points. Playing possession with barely any players is not something ICT can do. The whole squad, including management, have accumulated more points than we should have expected. Let's stick with what we have been doing. It's part of the game to criticise after a bad show. We've still got a better than evens chance of getting out of this. At the end of the season, let's see get any rightful seething out and then appreciate that finishing one above the play-offs is success after being fined the equivalent of 5 wins.
  12. If 100% of the shares is an issue, what's the alternative? I can see why the Supporters Trust would want their vote but it didn't help with the previous owners. I also think it's great for supporters to be able to hold shares in the club, but I also hope they see the wider picture. Give Savage a chance to save the club. I'm not sure there's any other way forward. I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually gifted back to the fans eventually but that's too far away, given liquidation could be around the corner.
  13. Why would you prefer to be run by a company with no connection to Inverness but more money to buy a club? We've seen plenty of them before and it's not always worked well. AS has put his money where his mouth is and come in . His plan is reasonable and not pie in the sky. He's not expecting a return, but just to operate at a reasonable level (i.e., a Championship club generally) under a reasonable budget. The backing of fans, staff and local businesses is central to his ideas. Do you really think a consortium from China or wherever will be thinking, let's spend a million for no return other than love for the club?
  14. I wonder how much gofundme would fetch now? I didn't like the last one but happy to support AS in this one.
  15. Without the deduction, we'd be comfortably in the promotion playoffs. Amazing, given we had a better squad with Ferguson but we were still IIRC second bottom before administration. So, that's almost a deduction in itself. All-in-all, an incredible piece of work by the management team. We easily had a playoff team and maybe automatic promotion when Ferguson was here but he was just such a poor manager.
  16. Doesn't mean the rest want to leave. With liquidation potentially around the corner, most will just not know what is happening next year.
  17. Depends what league we're in. I'm not sure how much we would need in event of liquidation.
  18. I wonder if RM regarded his tenure as safe hands? Or if he's still convinced phygital is the way to go. Give him the details of prospective buyers and let's move on. Either RM liquidates us or he gives us a new start. Way past time for any positive legacy.
  19. It's not so much 'only'. More like six have already indicated, even though we're still in administration. I would have thought most are waiting to see, rather than wanting to get away. Noone knows what will happen next month. Good news and many will stay. Others will be recruited. Bad news, well, we may not need any players. I don't think players not committing is worrying at this stage. It's to be expected.
  20. "Though it's gone from the 8-8-8 formula to only 3-4 getting into the first team, surely it would be better to try and develop a few more so that we aren't filling our squad with loanees" I think it will be around 8 around the first team. Most of them with the odd appearance here and there but primarily reserve players, then a few making a challenge for regular selection. But that can't happen immediately, what with the lack of emphasis we've had on youngsters in the past.
  21. In terms of the stature of the club, we should be looking at where we would be without the 15 point penalty. We should be beating those at the bottom. Especially at home. Ultimately, above the play-offs is the aim and I feel very confident of that. But let's not think of ICT as a 9th place team. That's only due to an administrative sanction. Compare our results to what Cove would expect, not Annan.
  22. Surprising result given that Kelty are able to attract all those players from the Central Belt.
  23. This Saturday, Bray did nothing, whilst Longstaff never even touched the ball! For all the good Billy did, he may as well had the day off. That said, well done Dibaga for keeping another clean sheet, although he didn't have a single shot to save.
  24. Who did RM appoint as CEO and still defends him? Who did RM try to sell the club to, then reintroduce once in administration? I still hope that they might be easy to deal with, but I also hope they have zero say on how, as RM would have it, Inverness Kelty is run. They messed up. They racked up the huge debt. Profiting on the back of this is not being a supporter. They need to do the decent thing and pay for their own failings.
