A response at last 😂 As I remember it, Benni’s wife and the WW right back’s wife were sisters. We managed to get him for a PSF against Hamilton and he played the first half and scored a header from the edge of the box. We couldn’t advertise it in advance as it wasn’t confirmed till the night before. The WW manager was none too pleased anyway as it interfered with his pre-season build-up.

Trialist 14 is Dan Mackay again. From where I am for the warm up, I think Trialist 15 is a different player to the one who played at Nairn and Clach.

Can’t do that now as everything for county is not available, and only ict adult available. Was at golf this morning and a clach supporter was encouraging me to go to the game. From that I took it that we have given clach all the gate receipts as a thank you for allowing us to borrow their pitch for the game. **** up in a brewery comes to mind.

Apparently some issue with trying to get kids tickets as my son had issues but ended up buying senior tix at the same price. When he was buying the system told him only 1 child ticket left!!!

Watched it live for about 10 mins in the 1st half. Not a single shot on goal. Feel asleep and just watched the 'highlights' on the iPlayer. Changing the 'keeper for the penalty shoot out was tactical genius. 😂

Cabo Verde are the real heroes of this tournament so far. Wow. You could see how nervous all the Argentine supporters were at the end. They threw everything at them in this game, just like they did in their earlier games. Definitely a side that can hold their heads up high as they head home.

Referee is pretty bad also. Interesting that Australia replaced keeper just before the end of ET. Ryan is apparently a better penalty stopper than the starting keeper. We shall see in the shootout. Don't blame me for the VAR! ☹️ It certainly affected the game here in Toronto last night! Setting aside the VAR controversy, this game was the dream game for much of Toronto when people started working out the potential matchups for this fixture. There is a huge population of both Portuguese and Croatian descent in and around the Toronto area and from (Portuguese) drivers literally shutting down the highways to get a glimpse of the team bus heading from the airport to downtown, mobbing the team hotel (before and after the game) and the respective marches to the game from each set of supporters it was something pretty damn awesome!
