Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

  2. My wee band played this for Mr Gardiner the other night
  3. If he stopped covering the doughnuts with hundreds and thousands he could give them to the club.
  4. Let's make the probably rather rash assumption that we will actually have a team next season. The dreadful way the club is treating our players means there will hardly be any Inverness based players left. That means we will need to recruit more from elsewhere. But that will be a problem because the Board told us that was too expensive due to accommodation costs! But don't worry, folks. I think I know someone who might have a solution
  5. Sadly the law only relates to public bodies. Almost certainly the Insolvency Practioner has got an insight but slippery characters know how to slither away and re-invent themselves. However, his Linkedin profile is very respectable and well supported.
  6. Today is yet another very sad day, embarrassing for the club and everyone who has treated the players so disgracefully should hang their heads in shame. I’d like to join others in showing my appreciation for everything those leaving have done for the club. We know about Mark Ridgers, Cammy Harper, Wallace Duffy and Cammy MacKay. Best wishes to each of them and all other players in the same situation.
  7. Personally I thought we may have had a demonstration outside the ground by now with media coverage. That would definitely pile the pressure on for a statement.
  8. I seem to recall Donald Trump saying the same sort of thing on January 6th
  9. Can you use freedom of information laws to see Gardiner's c.v.? That would be a best seller on the comedy lists. Bob Servant, eat your heart out.
  10. Folk should be down the stadium with pitch forks demanding those in charge come out and face them. What an absolute shambles. I'm embarrassed to say I support this team right now.
  11. If he has any dignity, he will. What a complete waste of money he's turned out to be. Our performances in the playoffs should've been enough for him to walk!
  12. He should have had those conversations before he went, but hey-ho, he's on a reputed six figure salary so what does he care about players, especially those he didn't sign or loan-in.
  13. We would all be delighted if he did but I think he will stay and get as much money as he can from the club just like the rest!
  14. He's on holiday, due back this week. I have a feeling he will resign.
  15. I would have thought that would be the job of a manager. Anyone heard from Dunc recently?
  16. Would that include launching an orange strip on the 12th of July?
  17. There's nothing in any of this that surprises me other than the scale of it.
  18. Got a back of the mind feeling that he'll come in at the eleventh hour if nobody else does.
  19. With the prices of their wares, we'll be lining up in the Champions League in no time
  20. Absolutely shameful that Directors who may have put money into the club but who live absolutely comfortable lives have treated the players so disgracefully.
  21. Mark is certainly a player that could be pushing promotion from the Championship or even playing in the premier league, him playing for us in League 1 would be a huge asset of that there is no doubt. It’s a real disgrace that no one from the club has contacted him and the players but not just that, it’s a tactical disaster.
  22. With Wallace Duffy now posting he is away, because no-one spoke to him all season about a new deal so he assumed he was heading out the door anyway, then again, it is really bad man management. It's the job of a football manager or the DoF to sit these players down at some point in the season and either put an offer on the table or let them know they will not be offered a contract. Anything else is sheer cowardice and disrespectful. If the manager is on holiday then this is something that must be done before he starts that. Anything else is f***ing ignorant. If we take what Ridgers has said, then he's not even looking for the details, he is just looking for someone to say "look, we want to keep you here, you are a great servant to the club, but we simply don't know what or how much we can offer you. We will understand if you seek employment elsewhere, but as and when we know what's happening, we will offer you what we can". Thats does not seem unreasonable, nor does it bind the club to anything, but it at least lets their (former) employees know they are still wanted if something can be sorted out.
  23. Unfortunately, I do remember this and cannot decide which one looked down on fans, shareholders and sponsors more. They both looked at supporters like they were something on the bottom of their shoe after walking through a cow field.
  24. I only hope that all those who's future employment at the club now looks doubtful, realise that our thoughts are with them. But this won't help them to put food on the table and this carry-on must be unbearable. As for Ridgers, if he reads these posts, I hope he knows how highly regarded he is amongst the fans. He has been an amazing servant to ICT and has given us so much joy over the years.
