Our Medical Team

Do we have one of the best medical teams in the business. Reading this article in the P&J i get the impression that advice from our doctor and physio is going to fix Byrne once and for all. How come help hasn't been so good at his other clubs?

My belief is that we are simply taking a risk although it may be that he's on some type of pay for play contact which would be the sensible approach given his injury history.

Dargo and Niculae stand out as the two biggest "successes" at ICT in terms of avoiding recurring injuries and we've had one or two others who seem to have come back from injury quicker than expected so their could be something we do here that benefits players in that regard.

From memory any players we've had out long term have been those requiring medical intervention to aid the recovery process or injuries that are beyond repair/recovery from time and training alone.

Didn't fix Brew up mind you. Could do with him up front.

He has a shoulder injury which requires medical intervention which comes with no guarantee of success. Even if had opted for the surgery, chances are he'd still be out of action just now.

Or the Leyline that runs right through the stadium.
