Like the site a lot, well done to all for setting it up.

all looking fantastic to me - well done everyone involved :)

Much as I detest change this site is quite interesting. Well done to Scotty and the others who have obviously laboured long and hard over it's creation.

Hello Hairy Chipper, you made it over safely

Alright m8 yeh managed to cross over to the dark side with out much hassle :)

Great new site. well done to all

Now the site has a short history, how does the postings compare to the old site for the equivalent time?

I feel they are down but that is perhaps because they are shared between the different headers making them feel less.

It's hard to get a true gauge of things in such a short period of time.

On the old forum we would average around 250 posts per day across all forums - so far on here we are averaging about 320 across all forums. The fact that the FAO board has been replaced by Personal Messaging so we have "lost" posts there has to be taken into consideration as well.

It's not really about quantity though, it's about quality (or relevance), which is why we have divided the new forum up in the way we have. People should now be able to quickly identify, view and contribute to threads which are of interest to them without having to search through stuff that's of no interest to them.

The feeling of fewer posts is, I guess, an indication that it's all working as planned.

I'm still having quite a bit of hassle accessing the forum through firefox but when I use Internet Explorer usually nae bother.... any suggestions???
