I have just read on BBC 1 Teletext that the Scottish football league have handed all 30 Sfl clubs a share in ?450,000 pay out but i am confused as to why?

It's an advance payment of prize/participation money.

Works out at ?15,000 per club or enough to run ICT for approximately three days.

I was kind of hoping that the 1st div would take a bigger slice but going by a quote from last years payout apparently not.

SPL2 is a non starter now since Irn Bru decided to sponsor the SFL for i dont know how many years, i think this is the 3rd season but i could be wrong.
