Fair's fair. I was pretty scathing of Eric after the Morton game and dismayed to see him in the starting line up at Palmerston yet again.
What an improved showing from him yesterday though! He could have bagged a hat-trick in the first half but for two instinctive point-blank saves from the Queens keeper. At that point I was thinking........echoes of Partick when we were up against an inspired keeper. On two occasions he showed deft touches to control the ball inside the box to set up chances. He fired narrowly wide and high on two further occasions in the first 45. He chased and harried a bit more and seemed a little more up for sticking a foot in. When near the away fans he appeared to react to encouragement from the stands and all in all it was a much better showing.
If last weeks report card read..........Must do better..........then he clearly read it
This week........a much improved display, keep it up Eric
