Team for united dilemma

What a tough choice picking the team for united, I was happy with the Celtic line up, its just that when Hayes/Doran were brought on we were 1 goal down and Celtics tactics had changed leaving less space for our wingers to run into.Minimizing the effectiveness of our subs. (but United aren't Celtic)

So do we keep the same team and shore up midfield yet still have the same attacking options or introduce the 2 wingers from the start and put Foran up front with Rooney as the game will be more open from the off.

Hayes will tire first replace with Sutherland, then bring on Ross (to play behind Rooney)for Doran and move Foran out wide and replace Rooney with Macdonald.

Must be hard picking the right team with so many good players to choose from.

Basically the same tactics for me. If Jonny is fit he should start in place of Ross. A bit harsh on young Nick perhaps but for me he has gone off the boil a bit and Sutherland is showing some good form and looking a real threat. I'd play Sutherland up front with Rooney with Foran wide on the left. Ross and Doran available to come on when Jonny tires or for injury, poor performance, tiring of anybody else.

We are safe from the drop, unless Hamilton can produce a miracle and win all their games and us lose all ours, and the only chance of top six is to go all out attack. With that in mind I'd go

Esson

Tokely Munro Hogg Shinnie/Gillet

Hayes, Cox, Duncan, Ross

Foran, Rooney

Subs: Tuffey, Duff, Doran, MacDonald, Sutherland, Sanchez

I like that team and formation. Will either of those left backs be fit though, or will it be made do and mend with Duff and Munro as the full backs again?

Tokely Hogg Munro Gillet*

Hayes Cox Duncan Doran

Rooney Foran

Subs - Tuffey, Ross, MacDonald, Sutherland, Golabek, Innes, Duff

* - If Gillet is out, Shinnie comes in, if both are out, Golabek comes in.

I'd go with that. I really hope we can hit the split. A win tomorrow is vital.

Got a feeling that Tuffey will be between the sticks tomorrow, Sutherland will start along with MacDonald and Hayes and Doran will be on the bench.

Duff Tokely Hogg Gillet/Shinnie/Munro

Duncan Cox

Hayes Ross Foran

Rooney
