Would someone please tell me what ever happened to that stupid idea of the bottom 6 playing each other ????

They played each other.

They have changed the rules a bit Jock - the teams who are between 7th and 9th (Upper Split league) / 10th and 12th (Lower Split League) play off against each other in a three team league - the winners of those leagues then play the runners up of the other league. The final is then decided on a home and away basis.

I've got a question .......... What the feck is going on at this club? We don't have a full squad of players and we don't seem to be getting any closer to having one! No stability whatsoever - If we can't afford the players, lets put our hands up, get a mixed squad of youngsters and journeymen and compete at a level we CAN afford. Totally peed off with all this crap.

Perhaps the reason is that many are on holiday at the moment. Players can be signed in three minutes. We still have over three weeks to pre-season.

We will sign a few players in the next 3 weeks before pre season. We will have the usual trialists and a sprinkling of loanees. Put it in the oven for a season and we will have a lovely fluffy ict sponge.
